  • Ok I just watched one of ur vids on heavy metal poisoning & u mention stainless steel bowels or rusty areas. My seizure bird DOES have SS bowls but they came w/cage that came w/birds that they're VERY territorial over. I noticed a tiny bit of rust on the bowl's holding ring. But heard plastic was also bad, & mine chews up EVERYTHG! What tests detect metal toxicity should I ask vet for cuz now I AM worried bout that. We also ordered full spectrum bulb via shelter's suggestion for Vit D in winter.

  • @scenethelite Watch and listen to and enjoy more videos!! I often use remote quantum evaluations and other non-standard methods to guide me re heavy metal poisoning. Most standard tests do not test for the full spectrum of heavy metals without costing an arm and a leg. So you can fb message me privately and will put you in contact with quantum help if prepared to explore it. Dr Ross Perry

  • Contin 5...they get a GOOD diet now, but idk bout past diet, environment, etc. I've only had'em approx 2.5 mo so they've come a long way, but their behavior issues prevent me helping him or handling. They weren't at shelter long either so all we know is they were mishandled by a male but had good initial training & can step-up & have basic skills we're still trying to reteach. Very smart! I luv'em tons, but am worried if its seizures. Mid-flight or at night on perch would be BAD! Any info u hav?

  • @scenethelite You can contact me through email or private message fb Ross Perry so I can help you with several suggestions that will involve a remote advice fee.

  • Contin 4: Think I mentioned everything. Still needs initial wellness exam the shelter provides, for full blood work etc. Otherwise seems healthy. No breathing probs, no sneezing/.icky eyes or nose, but sometimes gets poo on himself & doesn't realize it. They're biters I'm rehabing so handling still VERY tough, they're aggressive & don't allow touch/holding. So also worried bout stress of exam. But these attacks scare him badly & he's already nervous. Idk if brain damage from past abuse? Cuz...

  • Contin 3... causes of seizures in birds, also hypoglycemia. No othr signs of illness, eats well (I cook Hot & Hardy whole grain mix w/fresh veggies & fruit as main diet) but heard seed mix can cause vit. defic. & we do make foraging toys w/seed mix he likes a lot. Should I discontinue those for now? No sign of lead/metal toxicity, other bird 100% healthy. He's also just a very anxious "tweaky" lil dude so its hard to tell cuz he doesn't "convulse" flapping wings, but more freezes up. Any advice?

  • Contin... kids we worked w/who had these space-out seizures. I can see it in his eyes, he goes blank even when walking to me 4 treat, just froze up mid-way, then came to & looked confused like "what was I doing?....oh yeah, treat" But has these episodes in clusters, many in a day, then none for a while. Aftr many in 1 day he seems exhausted & wobbly on perch & clearly not feeling well. Goin 2 avian vet Mon, but need more info/education. I heard vitamin deficiancy in calc, D, B are most likely...

  • Wonderful vids! Important Question on Bird Seizures: I just adopted 2 mated male conures. Both were abused, are biters, 1 has BAD anxiety & seems to hav episodes where he freezes up (even in midst of an activity) like a space-out seizure, can't move, eyes blank stare, looses bowels, slow to snap out of it but when does looks terrified like "where am I?" & slow to regain motor control. Very subtle tho which is why was undiagnosed till now, but to me & 3 othr bird owners, looked similar to kids...

  • How did things pan out for the sweet bird?

  • In my opinion and experience tube feeding and performing crop washes to help establish correct diagnoses, as unpleasant as it might be in the moment, has saved and returned health to the lives of far more birds than those that have experienced harm. At the same time we are advancing holistic medicine etc with quantum evaluations and adjustments and perhaps one day more of us with be adept as spiritual healers. In the meantime.... I hope you never need a scope down your throat

  • OK HOW ABOUT I PUT A TUBE DOWN YOU THURT!!!!

  • It is at times like this that I treasure my memories of "Johnathon Livingstone Seagull" a parable of Life and Death by Richard Bach, and another book "A Journey of Souls" by Peter Richelieu. These have helped me move into acceptance that our ego's are not the doers and our role is to set our intent to do our best under the circumstances. Billy passed over the night after we made the recordings. A necropsy was not done to my knowledge and we are left with many unanswered questions, Send him love.

  • I'm so glad you care so much for your patients! Is Billy OK now??
