So maybe it's just me but I couldn't see the cinnabun pattern when you put your head down lol BUT it looked VERY pretty & elegant when you were talking into the camera! I'm only transitioning but excited to try this out myself!
Peace and blessings Moxie, This was my first time checking out your videos, and thank you for them. I now know how to do a cinnabon ! You mentioned that you have been natural for a number of yrs, I have been so since 1993 and yes i do have hair past my shoulders. Healthy hair should grow 6" a yr even with trimming. I trim mine apx an inch every 8 wks, as when I permed my hair. I keep it in 2-strand twist, crinkled, braided and now I can say in a cinnabon ! what city are you in? thx
I feel ya on the low maintenance and high maintenance hair thang..I was close to cutting my hair *agh!* but your vid inspires me to keep at it. cute style- thanks
you are not retaining your hair growth that's why probably cus from oct 2009 to jan 2010 i hav gotten 1 1/2 inches of growth, and i hav been natural all my life but from oct is when i started focusing on growth retention. i use d loc concept but I dont have locs
Oh wow you taught at my school! I use to always admire your hair and think that you were protective styling your natural hair! Very nice texture! Are you on BHM?
Heck yeah, I'm so lazy and low maintanence. I totally with you, I've been natural since 2003 and I'm between shoulder length and apl and there's ladies that have been natural for less time that have way longer hair. But I'm definitely getting my act together as well. Though I do enjoy my length.
your hair looks nice. but i have to agree with sexydee. I've been natural since 2006 and my natural hair is pass my shoulders. I think what helped me is for first two years keeping it braide and i began to learn about ALL NATURAL products and became vegetarian. I use qhemet biologics, pure shea butter, olive oil, rosemary oil,, carol's daughter's hair milk, etc. and wash with organic conditioner. co wash is very important because afro hair needs alot of moisture!
Carol's Daughter isn't an all natural line, but i feel you on what you are saying and doing because i do the same things. I have found some great truly natural lines. I ordered Qhemet Biologics, but i hardly used the 3 products i bought. They have been marinating under my sink since. I am not vegetarian although i practice it often (lol). I do eat nothing but organic foods and i just started making "raw" dishes. They are great!! Wow, can't wait for my hair to get your length! God Bless!!
I haven't used carol's daughter in a long time. I use Giovanni's conditioner, qhemet biologics heavy cream, and kinky curly. Yeah, I love eating healthy. My skin is better because of it.
you have been natural from 02? you should have hair down ur back, wow. dont get it twisted ur hair is beautiful, but you should have so much more growth. keep me posted.
PLEASE share other "grown and sexy" styles! Luvin the cinnabun and looking for more ideas that are not the norm. Thanks for your humor, creativity and originality!
so i have been natural for a couple of months now and still dont know what shampoo and condish to use any ideas and it is very dry
