the dude on the bike (145) i can't be so sure of, but i have seen alot worse bike crashes (dirtbikes are oen of my hobbies) where they don't even get hurt... for the most part the rider doesn't get hit, the bike takes the brunt of the force.

Could just be an unlucky thing, a guy fell 2 miles after having to eject, hit a snowy pine tree, rolled down that, then rolled down a snowy hill that the pine tree was at the top of and survived, whereas people die regularly after falling off the first few steps of ladders and hit their head on something.

the only people that COULD have died (realiticly) are the ones who got ran over by cars, and even then.. you'd be suprised how little damage a car running you over can be.. it's force + weight that can be devestating, if they're under that car for less than 2 seconds, it would be somewhat of an odd occurance for them TO DIE... it's when that car runs them over or flips onto them and stays there that it causes the most damage...
