  • Idiom World Server offered ICE matches in 2005. I have a feeling Star Transit launched a similar feature, although I can't remember when.

  • @sunjan It makes sense Idiom offers 101% matches, since they licensed the technology from Atril. But was the feature available in their standalone desktop version?

Yes, I've been told Star Transit also had it, I'll do some checking.

  • @CATguruEN Idiom Desktop Workbench was never really a standalone CAT. You couldn't initiate and create projects, merely translate packages that you'd received from World Server. As long as the package was prepared with ICE matches, the desktop supported the functionality.

  • Thanks so much. I also didn't know what 101% matches were.

  • @RienVesseur I try to do videos in the spirit of Woody Allen's "Everything You Always Wanted to Know About ... (But Were Afraid to Ask) ;-)

  • Great Dominique! I've never really understood 101% matches, but your information is priceless!

  • @sharonq2008 The basic principle really isn't rocket science, LOL!
