He spends about 2 hours trying to figure it. He comes over and says he couldn't find the problem, but said he will come another day after reviewing it or something, we still had to pay. They "Tweek" your computer and wind up deleting regitry settings that you need for your computer to function correctly. Every time I get a call on a computer that has been touched by them I always advise to nuke the system and go back to factory settings. Oh, and you can't forget the 18 year old the thinks he knows all about computers since he grew up playing WoW.

This reminded me of something.
I was having internet troubles with my computer and I'm really not that smart with computers so I just had one of the Geek Squad guys come down to help fix it. He spends about 2 hours trying to figure it. He comes over and says he couldn't find the problem, but said he will come another day after reviewing it or something, we still had to pay. We get some guy from wal-mart to come and fix it, in 10 minutes he had it fixed and my internet was working fine. GS = FTL

I never liked the idiots at Geek Squad. They told a friend of mine to break her computer because it "wasn't damaged enough" for the warranty when it wasn't working. Then, they said it looked like it had been "tampered with."

As a tech support agent for a major computer company I find this great. I deal with Geek Squad's mess ups every day. They "Tweek" your computer and wind up deleting regitry settings that you need for your computer to function correctly. Every time I get a call on a computer that has been touched by them I always advise to nuke the system and go back to factory settings. Oh, and you can't forget the 18 year old the thinks he knows all about computers since he grew up playing WoW.

Especially if they have the Geek Squad logo on their car. Thus if they do something that others don't like, the company is liable for whatever the driver does because they put one of their logos on the car.

You are videotaping while driving! I think that is against the law in most states..your eyes should be on the road, not videotaping passing cars. You can get in an accident. Nalts is really at fault for reckless driving. He just got caught this time. He is spiinning it to his advantage. There is ego involved here. I still love you Nalts!
