@SoMeThinLiKeJiVE Thanks! The red devil is about 3 years old now. He started being really mean to everybody eventually, so he is now in a 72 gallon tank all by himself. He tries to attack me through the glass. Luckily, when I put my hand in the tank, he doesn't attack. He's so moody!
@SoMeThinLiKeJiVE Thanks! The RD is probably about 3 and a half years old. He used to be well behaved, but I have since had to isolate him in his own tank. It seems like at some point, most of these mean guys "snap" and have to be isolated. He was fine for about 2 years, then starting killing everything.
Dovii at that size? I look hard to buy one like that size but never could find one instead I had to order a smaller one at 3 inches and cost me 25 bucks not including shipping price. I can wait for mine to get big like the beasty dovii you have in there. Hes awesome and is my favorite cichlid !
Dovii is such a bastard. I gave him to my brother in law to put in a tank by himself. Once he was gone, I was able to put some of my smaller CAs in there, like my GT, Gold Dempsey, and wild Escondido!
Nice set up how old is the Red Devil? does it bother your other fish? Just got my Red Devil today and it is not shy compared to my other fish.

wow, whos beating the shit outta everyone in there? lol, everybody has torn fins and bite marks, except the dovii... go figure...
I love the bocourti, still trying to get ahold of a pair of them. but they are hard to find in singles, let alone a pair...
