  • I LOVE the first 4 !

  • walt disney said that the spanish dubbing was better than the original one

  • You'd think Phillip's horse would get used to it after a while

  • Dutch 1959: "Nee, dat is niet waar!"

  • The Spanish '59 version is WAY better than '01.

  • If it was re-dubbed then it wasn't as good as the original.

  • 5 people turned into a spinning firework.

  • Finnish is still the best. and it translates to "No, it's not possible!"

  • in german she says: "no, you won't win!" instead of it can not be :O

  • Why did they change the Spanish translation? Oh well.

I liked Spanish 1959, French 1981, and Japanese for some reason.

  • Man, this video is making me dizzy @_@

  • Italian version: THE BEST DUBBING IN THE WORLD!

  • Spanish 1959 was the best. Pure evil there.

  • BAHAHAHAHA 1959 dutch. xD LOL

  • 1- Brazilian Portuguese 02:23

    2 - Spanish 1959 02:40

    3 - English 00:00

    4 - German 01:15

  • ITALIAN <3

  • Dutch 1959 seems like a kitty XD

    I love French 1981 !

  • 1) Spanish 1959

    2) Japanese

    3) French 1981

  • Great video, but you've got the wrong lines with the Dutch parts.

Dutch 1959 must be: Nee, dat is niet waar!

And Dutch 1996 has to be: Nee, dat kan niet waar zijn!

Just some little adjustments. The spanish one from 1959 scares me like hell ;)

  • @Beth22Veen Do you think he used Latin or European?

  • @JuanDVene I'm no expert but is sound comparable with the european portuguese.

  • @Beth22Veen well they are both decendants of the Latin language. Btw on the last comment when i said Latin i meant Latin Spanish.

  • @JuanDVene Like I said, I'm no expert. I'm Dutch not Spanish ;)

  • Originally the italian version was like all the others, but probably it's all fault of the re-mastering for VHS and etc.

  • 1959 Spanish: I SHAT MY PANTS O__O

  • This was in Arabic?

  • 4 people speak arameac

  • horse language never change :O

  • French 1981 is so... POWERFULL :D

    PS: Malefica... SPOSAMI!!!!! :P

  • @fagian Concordo concordo e concordo!!

  • Oh, Spanish 1959 was magnificent!! Very powerful, it gave me chills!

Spanish 2001 was kind of a let down after that!

I liked the Japanese one too, but the Spanish 1959 is probably the only oe that I would say is better than the English one! :D

  • @DCRaider2011 I'm glad you thought so. I was raised by that dubbing— and, as a kid, I was terrified; now, growing up, I admired it. Edmundo Santos' Disney vesions were a really superb job. In those days, Disney films were originally dubbed in Argentina, and are still admired— in this case, beyond spanish-speaking.

(Check out for fans complains about the 2001 re-dubbing, comparing the original voice cast)

  • brazilian portuguese is the best

  • The most close version is definitly the french one(1981) 0:00 = 1:07

  • the japanese sounds so evil! lol

  • Japanese sounds very evil

  • nooooooooooooo!!! non è possibileeeeeee!!!!! :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD <3333 ity stupendoooo

  • And what about Irish =O?

  • OHI DEN BOREI!!!

  • i like the powerful sound from french 1981

  • Spanish 1959 the best! French 1959 sounds like a man.

  • @romarioed I agreee !

  • Japanese: 「

  • French 81 is definitly the best !! So scarying ! The dutch 1959 one is good too. But I don't understand why so luch people like the spanish 1989. She's not that good !

  • I love dutch 1996, french 1981 <3, spanish 1959, swedish ! These are the most spooky, scarying and convincing !

  • Neeeej ! Det är inte sant!

  • difinitivamente la mejor es la de español1959

  • Haha these multilanguages are always nice! :DD And yay Finland was there too! xDD but omg French -81 was BEST! *0*

  • If there was a Filipino version, Maleficent's Tagalog dubbing would be:

    "Hindi!! Hindi pwede ito!!"

  • I love Dutch '96

  • Italian the best!

  • Comment removed

  • 4 dislikes! NO!!!!!!!!! IT CANNOT BE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @dumboiscute aha....

  • español!!! :O

  • @quechus14 1959

  • I'm spanish and but my very favorite version is french 1981 !!!!!!!

  • French 1981, Spanish 1959 (my mother language) were my favorites, I just don't feel the spirit of maleficent on the english version, not trying to critic the performance or anything, just a humble opinion.

  • Japanese isn't the original voice and the line. This one says "AUGH! Sou wa saseru ka!" - which means "AUGH! I will not let you!"

In the original one, she said "Masaka, sonna hazuwa!" - which actually means "No, it cannot be!" and the original had a way better voice than this one.

  • Was I the only one who LOLed at 1959's Dutch? XD

  • @SirPotrillo that voice sounds weird, it actually sounds like a witch but i dont think reflects maleficent personality, what do u think about spanish 1959??

  • @MausoloSri Definetly the best so long. I'm Latin American, and as a kid I was terrified by Maleficent-- BIG part of that was because of her voice. Those were the good old days where Disney was dubbed by pros. Nowadays we have sitcoms and soup opera actors like 2001 dub.

  • @SirPotrillo Nop, i defenitly laught a lot at that voice, no disrespect to any language out there

  • French 1981 so amazing and charismatic 's voice !!!!

  • I prefer French version 1981 to French 1959 maybye because i'm a french girl (lol) but because the second version is the one of my childhood but also because it is more creepy and scary.

  • Spanish 1959 was very creepy:O

  • I think either youtube screwed up the timing of the Italian (while somehow not screwing the rest up) or something happend to the clip when Lilla was making it that caused the delayed timing.

  • the spanish 1959 voice was hands down the best in my opinion 2:40

  • Spanish 2001 is pure fail. Hearing it next to the 1959 version speaks for itself.

The american people say mecsicoww Xp

  • the dutch version from 1959 says: nee, dat is niet waar.

not: nee dat kan niet waar zijn! that's the 1996 version.

difference: 1959: No, that's not true!

1996: No, that can't be true!

    man, I love details ^^

  • 2:40 Crapped my pants when I was 4. When I heard the new version I wanted to kill!!!

Rosario Muñoz was GOD! And they put Yzma's voice instead? Gosh!

  • i lilked/ 1:16 German/1:24 Greek/0:00 Engilsh/0:08 Arabic/0:42 Dutch 1996/2:15 Poilsh/2:40 Spanish 1959/2:49 Spanish 2001/

  • In Spain we had Spanish 1959 with latinoamerica version before here we didn't dubbed animation movies...I had that version and it's definitely the best :) Spanish 2001 is not that good

  • Man, why did they have to change the Spanish one?

The 1959 version owns the 2001 version!

  • spanish 1959 is the best ever!

  • The Italian one was such a fail. The voice actor was late on her lines.

  • @Janellelynnmayo yes but her voice was very evill!

  • Comment removed

  • german and finnish.. wow

  • Poor Prince... He has been scared 23 times... =P

  • the reason spanish 1959 is so good is because the voice actress for maleficent was a amous actress that starred in several radionovelas (radio soap operas) and she had a lot of practice and feel in her voice.

  • @chibicaty It's a shame we don't have a lot of those now...

  • Great Job!!. Congratulation

  • Spanish 2001 is awful!

  • @dicesh

sounds like she took some pills to calm down.

  • Spanish 1959 was Latinamerican spanish

  • korean sounds like chipmunk voice, or like "huevo cartoon" don't you think?

  • i love spanish 1959

  • I love in finnish and in French of 1981 :) So charismatic :)

  • Dutch 1996 sounds really like german!

Nein, das kann nicht wahr sein : )

  • Spanish 1959 is absolutely the best :D

  • Wow! Spanish 1959 creamed Spanish 2001! They didn't need to redub it!

  • @PurpleWarrior13 And it still remains a mystery why they did it ¬¬

  • Spanish 1959 is insuperable!!!!

  • Spanish 1959 ...

    Long live to Rosario Muñoz

  • In japanese, it seem me :

"Naa, soba saseru ka!

  • English is the best...

    but the best dubs are

    3. French 1981

    2. German

    1. Spanish 1959

(Italian is off in terms of when she says it, but it isn't a bad dub, and Finnish and Japanese are up there.)

  • I know this Comment will be flagged sooner or later.

Im doing a poll on YouTube, and i want your opinion:

Whos the greatest Disney villain of all Time?

  • italian, the spanish one when she sounds really loud and japanese were the best XD

  • LOL! I'm scared of Spanish 1959 cause she's rly mad and French 1959 sounds like a man..... English is the best! No one can defeat Eleanor Audley's evil voice!

  • @LollipopRibbon The original dub is always the best. Especially in the Disney Classics.

  • dansk: "Nej det er ikke SANDT"

  • English is the best of the bunch. I also liked the Spanish 1959 one, and the Finnish one too. The Polish one, and the Dutch 1959 ones made me laugh. The French 1959 sounded like a man but the 1981 one sounded cool. :)

  • lol itialian came in all late! in polish she sounds like she's a fricken man

  • - Sleeping Beauty - No , it Cannot Be '' - Mulitlanguage -

  • I love Greek, Italian & German version!!!

  • Dutch 1959 :DD Wow!!! Great!!! But Finnish is the BEST!!! Hannele Lauri has wonderful voice <333

  • Danish, Japanese&Spanish 1959 were the best!

  • Somehow the melody that is repeating makes it awesome

  • Spanish 1959: Pure EVIL!

  • french 1981, spanish 1959 and swedish!

  • Turkish - Aih.. Uunngrrah

  • Amazing video!

Finnish has the best reverb; French 1981 the best soundtrack.. I've seen the Brazilian vid on YouTube. I actually like that actress' vocal style.

    Dutch... is hilarious. ;p

  • spanish 1959 does sound like shes really pissed and 1959 dutch couldn't stop laughing! XD

  • Aside from English, Spanish 1959 and Japanese wre the best.

  • spanish 1959 really sounds like Maleficent but of course spanish!^__^
