I think I definitely preferred Frank Dillane to Chris Coulson. <3 He's got the face of an angel and a voice that's to die for. And Fur Elise is as lovely as his face, so it matches the video perfectly.

i mean, reading the books he was supposed to be like super-mega-awesome-hot, and Frank Dillane is just.. well to be lyrically, plane.

Christian Coulson got REALLY close, but maybe I just imagined something not possible ;-)

@ditzxb You are right. But Chris Coulson was a bit too old to play 16 years old Tom. I think they should have kept in the movie the memory where Riddle goes to Hepzibah Smith's house and cast Chris as older Voldy u_u

@ditzxb did not read the half-blood prince (hope that doesn't disqualify me automatically, I'm just a casual movie goer). But me thinks, Frank Dillane impersonates this mix of arrogant, menacing self-assuredness and boyish charme needed for a convincing young Riddle just perfectly. That's more important than just having good looks (and he is still easy on the eye!).

He is perfect for this Character. Charming, Dark, Devious, Smart, and Cunning (No homo) . The look on his face when Slughorn told him "In other words you can not die" It showed the true ambition and greed for immortality in his eyes. He was the perfect character for this enough said..
