Glimmer of Hope - big event here in the bay area is on the same night. So I'm glad to know you'll go and let us know more about this production. Looking forward to your next vlog on it. Have fun.
I just did a speech using SimCom for my speech class in college last Thursday... Yes, it's very hard work, but it's doable. But, I have to say, I was more PSE in some parts of the speech, but a lot of body language though. I'll be curious to see what everyone has to say after the 27th. I won't be able to attend as I'm about 1000 miles away. LOL
I think ASL with an interpreter is the way to go instead of signing and talking at the same time. I try to do it at the same time and my grammar/structure gets mixed up.
Wow, that's interesting! I didn't know that there were simcom'ed plays. Usually with Deaf theater there's a voice interpreter for the hearing. Many people find it difficult to simcom because they end up signing badly or speaking badly, but I guess if it's practiced material like a script it may be easier.

I hope it is sign and voiced separately, not SimCom. SimCom sends the wrong message all around.
