Jens Lekman is writing some damn good songs. He's really an innovative guy. His songs are all over the map of pop and rock songwriting. While the world is listening to sickening shit like American Idol stars, Britney Spears and T-Pain, guys like Jens are still writing instrument driven, thoughtful music. You might call it organic, but I think its a lot cooler than most of the shit that passes as pop these days.
