This could have been one of the worst characters of all time had it been played by someone else instead not only did we make it work the Taker made it one the best gimmicks in the history of wrestling. This theme represented the character perfectly from the very start. The theme has an aura, a mystique that is certainly hard to define. The Undertaker's first entrance was just as memorable as his entrance at Wrestlemania 20 or 27.
@MrTantraMan There would be no issue if a guy like Goldberg did it. He actually drew money and is someone the fans take seriously. To see someone like The Miz or Alberto Del Rio, two nobodies do it would kill fans.
