@CoreyfromEarth So we don't have the glitz and glamour of Access Hollywood or Entertainment Tonight. The important things is our content. Are we getting the info out? Are we covering the news and topics people want to hear about? What we do is entirely out of our own pockets. We pay for the DV tapes we record on, the DVDs we burn for broadcasting, the downloads so other stations can broadcast our show. At least we're not sitting in a poorly light basement with bad audio shot on VHS.
@CoreyfromEarth I had read it several weeks ago. Just didn't have time to reply until now. Do you watch other RI public access shows? I haven't really looked to see who else has their show on YouTube. Do you remember a show called WOPA TV "worst of public access"?
@RISFC I have seen many other RI public access shows. Some guy named Russell singing old show tunes. An old man w/ an intro walking down a railroad track who talks about inane subjects. He once had an older man on the show playing the violen. My ears bled. Their are also terrible skits by people in their backyards that look like poor youtube videos. Then their's that fuck awful Wicked Late show of some idiot and his drummer who tells jokes and has an audio recording of an audience laughing...
@RISFC ...An audio recording of laughter?! Really?! It was pathetic! Last one I can think of is some kid ranting about local news I could care less about. He has that terrible RI accent. Why can't locals even pronounce a simple "R" sound in a state that begins w/ the letter R?!! These shows are completely trivial garbage. Yeah I get it their for fun, but w/ such piss poor quality in almost every way it's all unwatchable. It's like people in this tiny state are in their own little world anyway.
@RISFC I misspelled violin sorry. Anyway to answer your question, no I have not seen a show called worst of public access, but I'm pretty sure RI public access is close enough.
These public access shows in RI are actually twice as bad as youtube videos. It's so pathetic.
