I agree on the contacts issue. If you can OBVIOUSLY tell it's not natural (as with contacts and wigs and false anything for the matter) you probably look better without it. Coloured contacts don't look good on anyone and are immediately easy to point out.

your stylist is right. the straighter you relax your hair, the weaker it will be causing it to break quicker and faster. just relax the hair so its more manageable and then use a flat iron to straight it.
