  • Canada ?????

  • Catalina Ponor will compete for the Romanian team too...

  • romania, russia & china on the podium !

Romania is making there comback, it's amazing!

Russia is great, but with viktoria komova & Aliya Mustafina who are injured it's going to be hard

and china will be ready for the olympics !!

I like the USA team, but they aren't special. They look to much like robots, it's like they don't like gymnastics ( but i realy like Rebecca bross & the little woga girls! )

  • russian team

aliya mustafina, victoria komova, anasyasia grishina ,anastasia sidorova.

  • what's up with 5 gymnasts a team? is that official or just a rumor? and how will the usa decide lol

  • I really like some of the Canadian gymnasts, and Im sorry to be negative, but there is no way they will medal or even be top 5 in 2012. Their gymnasts are just not consistent enough yet.

  • USA - weiber johnson bross scaromone then either liukin, ross, sloan, or raisman.

Russia- mustafina nabieva dementevya komova then either ksenia a. or grishina.

Romainia- porgras izbasa chelaru ponor racea

China- tan cheng fei jiuang huang deng linlin

  • @dance54321 ponor retired long ago, as did cheng fei. Nastia is not coming back either.

  • @elizabethrice3 Check again! I'm super excited! Ponor's making a huge comeback for floor, beam, and I think vault! She's looking great! And a couple of weeks ago, Cheng was at Chinese nationals and did floor and vault. On vault she did a DTY and a laid-out Podkopayeva! She has a triple on floor as well as a double pike but isn't looking too good there yet. Knowing how much Ponor supported Romania in Athens and Cheng for China in Beijing, they'll both be back readier than ever.

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012Oooh yay!!! I haven't been reading up on my gymnastics for a few weeks. But I'm totally stoked that they are making a comeback!!! Most definitely, in my opinion, two of the best three-event gymnasts ever to live. If they were to pick up bars, everyone else would be in trouble! Thanks for the update :)

  • @elizabethrice3 Yeah it's crazy! There are videos up already! Yeah they definately are! Cheng is China's best for three events at least. Haha yeah! Cheng used to do bars but has a height phobia which is funny considering her double double and Amanar. No problem :).

  • @dance54321 Don't count out Yulia Delokobylskaya! =D

  • S Johnson is better than she was. Unless she gets hurt or makes a mistake,,she will make the team. Canada and Russia have some very strong members I believe stand a good chance and Chinas gymnast may surprise us in 2012. No matter what,,It's going to be a Gymnastics competition to be remembered. I believe 2012's gymnast to be the highest caliber gymnast ever to compete. Can't wait to witness it.

  • @FlicTuckFull I heard Chellsie Memmel is back training also, I think it will be a very exciting 2012! :)

  • USA

Vault- Jordyn Wieber (If she still has her Amanar) Alicia, Kayla Maroney

Bars- Nastia I doubt will come back, Mackenzie if she can get her consistency up, Rebecca Bross, (Jordyn Wieber, if she adds more difficulty, or Kayla Maroney)

Beam- Jordyn Wieber, Alicia Sacramone, Rebecca or Aly, if they can both keep consistent

Floor- Jordyn Wieber, Aly Raisman, Rebecca if she cleans up her legs, which I think that's just how they are, or Alicia if her floor comes together by then.

  • The problem with having a lot of good gymnasts, like Russia, USA, China, is that you have to pick between them. You never know who will make mistakes, you could pick someone that might be a better gymnast, but has terrible consistency. Romania has a lot of good gymnasts but there aren't many gymnasts in Romania.

  • There can only be 5 people on the 2012 Olympic team (not counting the reserve)

I think the team will be:

    Nastia Liukin- bars, beam, (floor?)

    Shawn Johnson- vault, beam, floor

    Alicia Sacramone- vault, (floor, beam?)

    Rebecca Bross- bars (beam?)

    Jordyn Wieber- vault, floor (beam?)

Sixth spot: Alexandra Raisman, Mattie Larson, Kyla Ross, Sabrina Vega

I think the USA team needs another strong bar worker.

  • @Mariite123

Shawn Johnson won't make the Olympic team. Nastia has a chance if she gets into training and can deliver a solid bars.

Team: Wieber, Bross, Ross, Aly/ASAC, Bar Specialist

    Vault: Wieber, Aly/Asac, Ross

    Bars: Wieber, Bross, Bar Worker

    Beam: Bross, Aly/Asac, Ross

    Floor: Wieber, Bross, Ross/Aly/Asac

  • Anna Pavlova is making very good progress after her injury so I think she deserves a spot :) and Sandra Izbasa

  • I was just saying the favorited for the team and I believe there is six members on a team and nastia has said she's been going to the gym.

BB- Alicia scaromone Rebecca bross Shawn Johnson

Bars- Rebecca bross Jordyn weiber nastia luikin

Floor- Alexandra raisman Mattie Larson Jordyn weiber

Vault- Alicia scaromone Jordyn weiber Alexandra raisman

Those were possiblites for the events and I know I have more than six.

  • I wanna see Pavlova in the 2012 Russia team !!

  • It would be very difficult to take away the gold from Russia. They have Aliya Mustafina, Ksenia Semenova (remember she was too close in 2008) and Tatiana Nabieva.

  • i dont know if romania will even qualify. they are going to be very weak. I agree with russia though.

    U.S. olympic team-

    Rebecca Bross

    Jordyn Weiber

    Aly Raisman

    Shawn Johnson

    Sabrina Vega

    Kyla Ross or Mackenzie Caquatto

  • Team USA :

    Rebeca bross

    Jordyn wieber

    Shawn Johnson

    Nastia luikin

    Alexandra raisman

    Alicia sacromone

    Briget Sloan or Mattie Larson

  • @dance54321 its only five member teams in 2012 and nastia has not announced any comeback.

    my team would be-

    Wieber

    Bross

    Maroney

    Raisman

    Another bar worker

  • I hope Canada qualifies for 2012, and I hope they do well! Go Canada!!

  • @superawesomekirst i think canada have so a good team but the bad thing for them is that in important competitions they can show what they are

  • Tamerjian retired :(

  • You can add Viktoria Komova and Anastasia Grishina to the Russia 2012 list!

  • @EuphoriaGrace yes sorry i made this video in 2009 but i m going to make another video that include gymnast like grishina, komova, lordache, rodionova, etc in 3 days i hope you ll see

  • France, Australia and Japan are strong too and getting stronger

  • I agree with you. After Singapore 2010, I think the russians will rock in London. Women and men teams.

  • Hopefully Canada will qualify, they actually have some good gymnasts now, especially in trampoline

  • The us has a tremendous team but as we have previously witnessed, the strongest team may not win. Remember Russia circa 2000? If they had not made one mistake they would have won the gold outright. I love that Canadian gymnast pang lee, doing those windmills on the balance beam, has anyone done that before? Maybe the 2012 Olympic beam champion? :)

  • The Us has tremendous depth. With Bross, Raisman, Wieber,Sloan and Kyla Ross they are hard to beat. The silver may go to Russia. Third China or Romania. Beth Tweddle is formidable on floor.

  • @loaugust But Russia has AMAZING juniors coming up. Some are only 13-14 years old and they can already score the same as Bross in the AA.

Plus, this new code favorites the Russians, so hears hoping for a Russian win.

  • @loaugust i think if Nastia, Shawn, and Alicia pace themselves, 2012 nationals are gonna be so tense. Nastia is favored because of her bars, Shawn for her beam and floor along with amanar vault and alicia has great vault and floor, but raisman is gonna start overshadowing alicia in a year or two. i think Jordyn will win all around

  • Russian and Romania for Gold and Silver would be amazing!

  • @Gr33nkiwi YESSSSSSSSSSSS

  • i think the British gymnast will surprise!

  • What's the last song in this video?

  • I think AA will be between Romania and the US. Team final will be ( not in any order USA, Romania, Russia, China, Great Britian.

  • @carriemydear goooo ROMANIIIIIIIIIIIIIAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!GOLD!!!

  • a more appropriate montage would have been to present the teams(current +future members)...than to speculate on who will win.

nothing ever happens according to plan, especially for the favourite team.

  • I agree, I believe Russia will come out on top with USA in their infamous 2nd place finish for the third time. I think it will be between China and Romania for third.

Excited to see the upcoming Canadian gymnasts (I am Canadian) We definitely have more talent than previous years, however I do not feel we contend for a team medal ... yet. :P

  • And Romania will not even have their seniors at 2012 that they have now (probably porgras) but the Juniors who aer coming up are AMAZING and doing awesome skills so this montage is not going to happen. Amelia 3rd ranked junior in the world, ana progras sucess, there is larissa and diana bulimar, raluca haidu.. amazing and i see them finishing first place only russia will beat them.

  • Why have you only got current senior gymnasts in it though by 2012 all the amazing new juniors will be competing...?

  • Er...Haidu, Racea, Mustafina, Nabieva, Dementyeva, and Lee are all junior gymnasts....And Porgras only turned senior this year.

  • whats the song?

    great montage btw

  • Great Montage!! Wooh!! GOOOO CANADA!!!!!

    Great montage
