I think it is very important to be clear to young batsman, this seems like a classic case of the good old fashioned english method of "Lead with your head", Its ok for beginners, but still many (me included), don't get what this really means, Leading with the head is not the same as head first, many make the mistake of dragging their head towards the ball and expecting the foot to follow, its not like that, you lead with the head and the foot goes in one movement, not two seperate!
Leading with the head, does not mean plant the head first as many miss-interprete
