  • i practice aikido and love it but any aikidoka who have conined themselves that this is legit need a rethink. the japs are as flawed as the rest of us.

  • what is this shit ki aikido about this is not real you cant uset in sefl defence you made this shit ki aikido

  • I've been doing aikido for over 20 years, but this is bullshit i'll like to see him try this stuff on me. I understand the whole ki thing, but this is crap. Practice it realistic or don't do it at all. This stuff is what gives aikido a bad name. I'm discussed with this kind of aikido.

  • good to be practiced by all elderly even from wheelchair, saving lot of energy for maximum effect, but you need to have partner who can cooperate. Those all aikidoka who are getting older, I believe will start to perform this kind of aikido, including osensei, what about Doshu? may be, lets wait another 10 years from now...

  • its so obvious its really fake man!!!these guys throw theself to ground even before the 8 dan master tuch them?is it kind of brain wash?plz what ppl think about this?is some kind of philosophical sh..t that they want to play mind games?plz dont waste ppl life with these.sorry for this little guy who gave him 8 ???????????????

  • Everything except the last no-touch stuff I understand, it it excellent timing and positioning. I experienced no touch throws working but it was much closer: you were thrown because you thougt he was there and suddenly he wasn't. That absolutely works, against an uke who attacks in a committed way. You are completely off balance and your energy is being perfectly led by nage. This is different, it is hard to understand. I would have to experience it for that...

  • Sorry, I've been training in Aikido for about 20 years and I would have to experience the ukemi to believe it. The no touch long distance stuff?

Gracias Berlin

  • The emperor has no cloths...the emporer has no cloths!!!!!

  • "The secret of Aikido is not in how you move your feet, it is how you move your mind, I am not teaching you martial techniques, I am teaching you non-violence." O-Sensei

  • ive put in my favourites for a laugh

  • Такеда - это выдающий мастер.. Айки..

  • I think this is straight up BS... I understand the energy aspect of it but lets be honest...what he's doing is impossible...Id love to see him do a demo at my dojo and now have his personal ukes...now that would be interesting

  • Doshu was thinking..."WTF???"

  • search "comkaijudo" for more REAL aikido techniques.

  • Why does the ground sound so hard?

  • because of the sound wave wich is passing trough the ground directly to the camera bas, so it sounds harder...

Moriteru must be thinking" what a an awful interpretation of aikido, he's discrediting us, bloody hell!"

  • Yes, I agree that the practice of "center" to "center" is great in Aikido. I would rather use harmony than avoid. I know Aikido's concept is non-violent but full effort attacking is significant in Aikido practice too. Otherwise, when you face the situation of "can't avoid" then it will be too late.

  • The "feeling" of getting involve when attack.

Just thing this for real. If anyone attack you, Do u hv any reaction??? Basic instinct. Will you being punch or trying to avoid it...

  • Yes, i know the "feeling" of real attack. Not fake attract and exaggerate UKE. It is not necessary to demonstrate aikido like this. The UKE's reaction is too exaggerated. I can't see any basic instinct for doing this. Do you attack others like this?? Will you avoid like this while you are attacking? Obviously they are not using all the effort to attack, my friend..........

  • The "feeling" as you know already and the "involve" of connecting, as we called "center-to-center", or peer practicing. Moreover, have you ever seen any competition of Aikido. No we don't do it at all. We just demonstrate. But if you have learned far from it. There are alot of technique which will help you to avoid battle.

    Aikido is Non-violent martial art.

  • @cubimongoloid tomiki aikido has competiton

  • could anyone explain why the UKE keep throwing themselves even shihan didn't touch them? i am very interested to touch and try how amazing he is

  • seems a little dramatized but i guess at that high a level, no need to actually follow through?

  • if you look closer you will see that UKE always try to keep at distance of his free hand, cuz as you know this art evolves from a sword work, therfore if tori in this case Takeda shihan held a sword uke will be killed, that's why they flip just before his hand movement. In old days you never know what the enemy has in his sleeve literally sleeve haha. Look for instance 1:35 his left hand ? where is it going ? why uke throws him self ? I hope I was of some help to you folks. Peace.

  • great!

  • favorite: thanks / danke for posting this

  • U`re sleeping?

Ure supouse tu survive with that on the war field? There is no fake there anymore!

  • The jiyuwaza looked strange at one point, the uke's simply looked too afraid to enter and attack. It seems like they are frightened by an 8th Dan, and not committed to their attack. That's what it looks like.

The no touching techniques ... how did they feel? Was it mental? Please reply about how it felt to be uke. Thankyou.

  • Thanks for your helpful words: "...so please keep your word for people who really will worth them." You speak words of truth!

  • @aikidojoberlin QUE BASURA

  • Thanks u very much, Detlef.... They will never understand takeda sensei work so please keep your word for people who really will worth them.

It is funny to see this so far from that day, I can still feel the spirit of that day.

We were very happy to participate in this great experience.

I love to see once againg Murase sensei ukemis, he is wonderful.

    Regards from AKI CHILE.

  • Absolute SHIT. Maybe the title should be Aikido Clowns. Dumb asses rolling and falling on the ground like Clowns.

  • Denke nie gedacht zu haben,

    denn das Denken der Gedanken

    ist gedankenloses Denken.

    Wenn du denkst du denkst,

    denkst du nur du denkst.

    Wirklich denken, tust du nie...

  • bad spirit - bad words...

what YOU see is not what really it is! only the bad in your mind makes bad what you see. you have no ai ki - spirit!

but i know what you mean... see, shaw0032, please, the movements of O-SENSEI in his development of his last movements in AI KI DO, and of his ukemi...

will you say that O-SENSEI was making absolute shit? Maybe he was waiting for your aikido, to understand what he was doing...

  • @shaw0032 get yourself into a dojo and, with an open mind, you might be able to 'get it'... it ain't about kickin' butt....

  • @shaw0032

you are absolutely right!!! he is disgrace for aikido world.

i hope people dont pay for practice with this man.

  • @shaw0032

i could not agree more!! this aikido is shit!

  • I appreciate very much Takeda Shihan. I think his technics are very soft and incisive at the same time. His verticalization of the attacks, his center controls are very direct and simple and impossible befor long,LONG, practice.

but I think, afraid to say, that his uke are too much plateal and they attacs already ready to be controlled. Is it a false impression?

  • so i try to bring 'light' in that darkness:

definitiv technics of martial art in Aikido are given from the most developed aikidoka (high dan graduated)of Takede Shihan. Aikido how you know and how you like it to see!

  • Later, behind the form, aikido lives other demensions! when you work with a sharp sword, you have to take care, not to be touched, because this means deninitely your death...

to be aware and to realise the 'spiritual movements', what are allready the intensions, of attack which have no material form, needs your alert!

  • hallo,

for both, "dodorepublique" and "fabiobranno" the same:

nobody has to be afraid to say his opinion (fabiobranno), never! because we want to find out the truth...

shure (dodorepublique), i analysed all movements of Takeda Shihan and also these of Watanabe Shihan. The questions and doubts are always the same and they recur!

  • these commentars are bewildered, part 1 - 3.

    sorry

  • I understand that for those who were it was great. But when you analyse carefully the video how can you expect someone to think that aikido is a martial art when Takeda is throwing someone by this type of ridiculous mouvement. I do not want to offence him or anyone attending this demo but really, it's false. ask to someone "neutral" no one can believe this
