JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES ARE CHRISTIANS, AND YOU ARE BEING INSUFFERABLY IGNORANT! Arch-angel of Michael? I've never heard of such thing, and many of my best friend's and family members are Jehovah's Witnesses.
news flash! we all have false doctrines to one degree or another. no false doctrines will enter into the kingdom of heaven. i assure you. my advice is to get down to the cross strip yourself of all your man-made doctrines and let the HUSBANDMAN build you back up the way HE is supposed too. :) hi ho silver away!!!
Galatians 4,6 Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father. JESUS CHRIST IS HOLY SPIRIT ”Revelation 4,5-5,6 testify that 7 HOLY SPIRITS IS JESUS CHRIST
@sk8er408 Black people aren't allowed to hold priesthood, and the book of Mormon says that their blackness is a punishment for their sins. Many of the high-esteemed leaders of the LDS church, including Joe Smith, were racist in the extreme.
Hey! A religious debate. Your religion's wrong; my religion's right. Same thinking that brought you the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, and the unbending Muslim.
It's all a big fairy tale anyway so who really cares? The reason there are so many versions of Christianity is because the Bible contradicts itself forcing believers to pick and choose what is real and what is figurative. One scripture says the sinner will burn forever and another says the dead are conscious of nothing. The only difference between you and JW's is just that you believe different scriptures are literal and different ones figurative.
To those below who (at heart) disagree with what he is saying, a Christian is one who follows the teachings/life/truths of Jesus. In other words, a disciple of Jesus. An LDS, will claim (as many of my friends from high school were) that they are Christians...that the Bible is Holy and believed so far as it is correctly translated. Then also assert the Book of Mormon to be holier than the Bible...hmm When there is more manuscripts supporting the "mistranslated" B
That's ridiculas to assert they are the same. I remember being taught as a kid in infant school by ,Anglican scripture teachers, that they were seperate beings. Jesus praying to himself, and hearing his own voice from heaven :'' Behold my beloved son''- stupid. They are one in purpose. The sectarian christian world has really lost the plot. It's also evident from JS fist vision that they are seperate beings.
Christians hold the teachings of Jesus and the Bible both OT and NT as Gods Word and as Truth! So when personal feelings, tempting spirits or even the Holy Spirit convict, make us guilty, place doubt.....we can see if in fact that spirit or thought is of God or not...1billion muslims are convinced they feel truth, 14millions LDS feel the burning of assurance, but ultimately its God's Word which rightly divides any words of truth (not personal experience) 2 Tim 2:15
I agree...but the Journal of Discourses is still respected as an accurate account of what Joseph Smith taught and said. I'll give you the moon belief as a non inspired quote because it has nothing to do with spiritual things but all other points i made stand. Did Joseph Smith hear from God to marry 11 already married women as he claimed or was that just his personal belief in which he used God inadvertently to get his way? His latter claims about God were contradictory to the BoM and the Bible.
LDS hold the Holy Ghost in higher regard than this guy. We trust the Holy Ghost to lead us to all truth. And LDS also believe the Holy Ghost is God. The witness of the Holy Ghost is key to LDS.
The word Christian is only used 3 times in the Bible. None of the usages exclude LDS from Christendom. And pull out a dictionary. LDS also fall under "Christian". Nice try, but you have to totally fabricate a new definiton to exclude whoever you want. What is it with Evangelicals and their belief they hold the copyright to the name. Usually you can just ask them if Catholics are Christians as well and when they say "no" you know they are nuts.
This guy is a clown. He should go back to sportscasting or something. Believing different things about Jesus does not magically create another Jesus. Apparently he hasn;t read the Book of Mormon which does teach Jesus is "The Eternal God". You can just read that in the title page. And LDS also believe Jesus (see Book of Abraham) was an "eternal intelligence " which wasn't created. Unless he believes Christ taking on a body means he was partiually created, then he has the same problem.
@trencher7 Mormons don't believe Jesus is THEE Eternal God, rather Jesus has become A Eternal God. And even though Mormons throw around the word eternal like it should mean everlasting to everlasting, no Mormon believes God has always been God or that Jesus has always existed...They believe they are both created beings, unlike the Bible teaches and that even Elohim was once a man and Jesus (came into existence) through Elohim's procreation with one of his many heavenly brides.. =different jesus
@ssuperbill2 Neither you nor this smoothtalker knows what he is talking about. The Book of Mormon was written (as the title page states) "to the convincing of the Jew and Gentile that JESUS is the CHRIST, the ETERNAL GOD, manifesting himself unto all nations". And the Book of Abraham describes God and Jesus as eternal intelligences without beginning. LDS believe in the the same Jesus who was the son of God and died for our sins on the cross.
@trencher7 The BoM was J. Smith's first piece of work which was very similar to Biblical teachings, but Joseph Smith's teachings evolved and many latter revelations contradict the most perfect revelation according to LDS (BoM) by Smith claiming as recorded by Journal of Discourses that God was not eternal (once a man) that Jesus was born of God, there is not one but a council of gods, and even the moon's inhabitants lived to be 1,000 years old. Are you naive or just lying?
@ssuperbill2 You should know that the Journal of Discoures isn't a doctrinal source. You act like it is. Also many people believed the moon was inhabited back then, including scientists. It wasn't any kind of revelation or anything doctrinal. Also any reference to JS talking about moon inhabitants were 3rd hand at best, but he could have easily believed it back then. Just like the OT is filled with a bogus view of the heavens and cosmology. Not a big deal.
There's nothing you can do that can't be done. There's nothing you can sing that can't be sung. There's nothing you can do but learn to feel inside. It's easy! All you need is love! I ain't seeing it here in these videos or the comments. I love you all, anyway!
Majinish: in case you haven't realized by now Mormonism is a cult what use teach is in direct opposition to what the bible teaches. Check out way of the master Mormonism 1/3 on YouTube for more exposure of the mormon cult. it goes to 3/3
Mitt Romney believes he will become a “god” in the next life and be given his own planet to Lord over. He will call his wife, Ann, into it to populate his planet with spirit children. Would you vote for a man who believes he is going to become a REAL GOD AND BE GIVEN HIS OWN PLANET? Or, would you question his judgment in the highest office in the land?
Get The book: “Can Mitt Romney Serve Two Masters? The Mormon Church Versus The Office Of The Presidency of the United States of America”.
You would rely on such an ambiguous claim without accounting for what our doctrine actually is. You would also quote John 1:1. try John 1:1 in correlation with 1 John 5:7 and see if this idiotic claim still stands. if we wanna talk about rules of speech, what does "US" mean? Genesis 1:26. try to wiggle out of that one.
"There arrived in this land a man whom they called Quetzacoatl... His countenance was white and he wore a beard. His manner of dress consisted of a long white robe... He was considered just, saintly, and good, teaching them by deeds and words the road to virtue... He gave them laws and sane doctrine... He said that in the year that would be called Ce Acatl, He would return and then His doctrine would be accepted, and his children Lords and heirs of the earth."
they also believe there are innumerable gods beside these. And they believe that they, too will one day become gods. Again, a totally different definition of who God is, what happens to man, salvation, etc. compared to Orthodox Christianity. "As man is, God once was. As God is, man may become." "Look, up in the sky, it's a bird, it's a plane, no it's Super Heavenly Father who was once like us"
and the Father of Jesus' Father has a Father. This endless succession of Fathers goes on and on, up the hierarchy of exalted beings in the universe. "all men and women are in the similitude of the Universal Father and Mother, and are literally the sons and daughters of deity." (James E. Talmage). Mormons therefore are polytheistic in their belief. Mormons believe in numerous gods/ Even though they believe the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are the principal for with whom we have to do...
"Joseph Smith taught a plurality of gods, and that man by obeying te commandments of God and keeping the whole law will eventually reach the power and exaltation by which HE ALSO will become a god" (Joseph Fielding Smith). "If we should take a million of worlds like this and number their particles, we should find that there are mors Gods than there are particles of matter in those worlds. (Orson Pratt). In Mormon theology, just as Jesus has a Father, so the Father allegedly has a Father, ...
He just said 3 distinct persons. That is what mormons believe. God, Christ and the Holy Ghost are 3 distinct persons who make up the Godhead. Seperate beings one in purpose. As the scriptures denote in the many verses where Christ calls out to and references HIS father.
MY bible says: John 4.3: Be aware there are ass fuckers out there, unbeknown to him they comes forth out of the Catholic Church.I sayeth unto you behold the catholic ass fucker is amongst you.
Alma 46:15 says that believers were called "christians" back in 73B.C. rather than at Antioch as it says in Acts 11:26. I hope and pray that you do just a little more research into your religions manuscripts. Im not doin this to bring you down but just to show you. You still have free will to believe what you want.
ok here some historical inaccuracies in the Mormon scriptures. In Alma 7:10 Jesus was to be born at Jerusalem rather than in Bethlehem as it says in the Bible in Lk 2:4. and predicted in Micah 5:2. Helaman 14:20, 27 states that darkness covered the whole earth for 3 DAYS at the time of Christs death rather than 3 HOURS as it is recorded in Matthew 27:45 and Mark 15:33 or beyond Easter morning which would make it impossible to see if the stone was rolled away!!
in the bible doesn't it talk about the godhead? Our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. Jesus was created cause the world was in distress.. i really dont understand this video.
Clever word play does not trump revelation. Yes, Jesus and God are one and the same. But Jesus and God the Father are not the same. God the father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are one God in purpose, but three distinct and different personages. Whether we believe in Christ as you do or not does not determine whether or not we are Christians. That's why it's called "belief." One God, one Godhead, three individual personages. Take your bigotry and go elsewhere.
@Welle92 *all 30,000 groups within christianity is pagan* Muhammad was a false prophet and much of the Qur'an is a plagiarism of the Bible and the Apocrypha.
Jesus has a God and Father. John 20:17,"I am ascending ...to my God and your God." Read 1 Corinthians 11:3,"..the head of the Christ is God." Colossians 1:3,"..God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ..." John 14:28,"The Father is greater than I am." John 1:18,"No man has seen God at any time..." Read 1 John 4:12,"At no time has any one beheld God." Exodus 33:20," No man may see me and yet live." Jesus is firstborn of all creation. Colossians 1:15,"...firstborn of all creation." Prov.8:22
Jesus taught his followers to go from house to house. He wants more people to become disciples. Jehovah's Witness are following Jesus our Lord. Read Acts 5:42, "...from house to house they continued ..declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus." Acts14:21,"...making quite a few disciples,..." Acts 20:20-"...teaching you publicly and from house to house." Jesus commands his disciples to make more disciples. READ Matthew 28:19,20-"Go therefore and make disciples of people..."
What about when John the Baptist is baptizing Christ and God says, "this is my beloved son for whom I am well pleased?" Is Jesus pleased with himself? Probably not. My point is you can Bible beat all you want but aren't the teachings of Christ whats important? Not "proving" other religions aren't "christian" because they interpret scriptures differently? Why can't some "Christians" like in this video focus on what's important---Christ's teachings...That is all... I am NOT here to argue religion.
@usagi5sm your arument is typical of a muslim. God is pleased with Jesus (who is God) who is a seperate 'being' but 'off' God but you forgot to read what was written before matt 3:17
16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. 17 And a voice from heaven said,
the heavens opened for Jesus and the spirit decended on Jesus.
@soloscriptura1 I am not a Muslim, not sure what you meant by that comment. Your thinking is exactly what I was talking about. You could argue religion and the Bible all you like, but it is stupid to use it to bash other religions to prove "you are the right" Christian. it can be interpreted and understood in many different ways. For example, Mormons believe the dove was actually a symbol for the holy ghost. Does that change the teachings and message of Christ? No.
@NATHENBFOREST The swearing is the first indication . . . 8 But the human tongue can be tamed by no man. It is a restless (undisciplined, irreconcilable) evil, full of deadly poison.
9 With it we bless the Lord and Father, and with it we curse men who were made in God's likeness!
Todd is a great teacher of the Word. Jovial and smart! Todd, send it to paypal.
Mormons, don't start whinning about Jesus talking to the Father. The Father is not the Son or the Holy Spirit. Three bear record in heaven and these three are One God. Quoting God - "there are no other Gods". A law abiding man who progressed to Godhood is a fictitious idol, "like the gold Moroni on the temples". This idol has no priesthood. An idol cannot remove sin or save anyone. Find Jesus, "the Word of God".
did this guy just apply his name to God's law? Yeah, I'm pretty sure he did. I'm sure he just got carried away, but if he is God the Father, I think he should be working on other things than a poorly produced broadcast . I'm kidding of course. DO NOT EVER PUT YOUR NAME ON GOD"S TEACHING. FOR SHAME
Jesus himself stated he was created before the heavens and the earth... That means you statement is wrong and you can't state that he has always existed or your calling Jesus a liar. I do not believe in everything JW or mormons represent but you the one spreading false information and it is not for you to argue the bible. Get your facts straight.
@primakr0n Just for your information, Jesus never said he was created before the heavens and the earth. On the other hand he did refer to himself as "ego eime" (Greek for "I AM", see John 8:58) the very same name God gave to Moses when he introduced himself in Exodus 3. So, Jesus clearly maintained he was NOT created. You stand corrected.
@landsdown44 JESUS prayed before his death that if willing.....HIS FATHER take this cup away from him.....many other times he prayed to his father. You are a WOLF in SHEEP's clothing blinding those that are right hearted to the truth of things which does not include anything Trinity releated.
There are so many examples in the scriptures about Jesus praying to his father and it is silly to believe that Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit are one entity. Those that believe that have been misled!
@scca04wrx What is silly is to deny the trinity. What you are really denying is the possibility that God is more complex than humans are. When you finally give up trying to create God in your own image you might catch on to the truth of the Trinity.
@landsdown44 yah it's more logical to think our Creator is has multiple personality disorder and liked to talk to himself to put on a show in front of the ignorant humans. Actually, it makes more sense that the early Christians were converts from the monotheistic Judaism and didn't want to be associated with the polytheistic Greeks and Romans after Hellenistic thought pointed out that the Christians had multiple Gods. So the simple thing to do was say, well, "They are all the same godly blob!"
@thatmanguy In all of Christian history there has NEVER been a time when there were multiple gods and that is NOWHERE in the Scripture. Mormons constantly try to make God into our image, instead of allowing God to express Himself in the way God chooses, which has been as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. You didn't say anything that made sense or that was historically correct, but hey, nice try.
@landsdown44 I don't care what the Mormons believe, if a Christian is going to believe what is in his own book then he had better read all of it. Gen 1:26, 27 - God says "let US make man in OUR image" which means He's talking to himself even when humans aren't around to view the show. Matthew 27:46 - Jesus shouts out to God (Himself?) "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" Also read John 17:11-23 if you want Jesus to simply explain how humans are "one" with Him as He is "one" with God
@thatmanguy Yup, Genesis 1:26ff, just more evidence for the Trinity. Thank you for making my point. The Christian God is one God, three persons. If you think that there would be a god that would be so small that even you could begin to comprehend him, then you are guilty of what I have already said, creating god in your own image. That is the same mistake mormonism makes. See, you and mormons are a good fit, lausy at theology, but a good fit.
@majinish As you may recall, it was a verse you picked out, but it made my case. Sucks, doesn't it. Passages reagarding the Trinity are all over the place. To deny it is to place yourself outside the Christian Faith, and of course, the mormon religion is outside the Christian Faith.
@landsdown44 "but it made my case. Sucks, doesn't it" No because Genesis 1:26 doesn't do anything for the heretical "trinity" concept.
"Passages reagarding the Trinity are all over the place." I understand what the Bible teaches because I read and study it by the Holy Ghost. Not once has the Bible said anything about the "trinity" heresy.
@majinish That's the problem with cults. They mislead their followers by asking them to "feel" what God says. Guess what. That isn't how God makes his will known. Never mind the fact that the book of mormon makes claims, NOT ONE of which has ever been proven. Whereas the Bible has had hundreds of claims proven by archeology and to date, not one Biblical claim has been disproven. Brigham Young was a blatant racist, and you are relying on your feeling to follow those false prophets.
@landsdown44 "They mislead their followers by asking them to "feel" what God says. Guess what. That isn't how God makes his will known." Nobody's misled by anyone and its not a cult. What about in Acts 2 when the people knew what the apostles said was true not because of their words but because of a feeling in their heart?
@landsdown44 @"Never mind the fact that the book of mormon makes claims, NOT ONE of which has ever been proven. Whereas the Bible has had hundreds of claims proven by archeology and to date, not one Biblical claim has been disproven." Yes, the Book of Mormon has many of archaeological finds as does the Bible.
@landsdown44 "Brigham Young was a blatant racist, and you are relying on your feeling to follow those false prophets" He wasn't for his time. What's the deal with people trying to use today's rules and putting them on a society that long ago? No, I don't follow any false prophets. I rely on the Holy Ghost. That's what makes you an apostate Christian. You do not believe in the Holy Ghost or the power of it.
Tell me, when was it a good time to be a racist! Brigham Young: "The Negro is damned and is doomed to serve his master till God chooses to remove the curse of Ham" - What a piece of shit.
@landsdown44 Saying any variation of the "n" word then was the equivalent to calling a white person "white" today. You claim you're a Christian yet you cuss. Jesus said to not swear. And in case you didn't notice, in the quote, Brigham Young didn't say blacks were doomed for eternity. Otherwise he wouldn't have said this: "till God chooses to remove the curse of Ham"
@majinish Sadly, the 'Holy Ghost' you rely on is not the Holy Spirit that I know and love because He is God - the One God of the Shema Ysrael. You listen to a deceiving spirit my friend who pretends to be the Holy Spirit but teaches and affirms lies. Read THE BIBLE, on its own, by itself, without referring to those additions that the Mormon church foisted upon you and hear the truth. Don't you think it's more than a bit hokey what Joseph Smith et al made God out to be? It's all a power play!
@Norrington516 "you rely on is not the Holy Spirit that I know and love because He is God" You're partially right. I don't rely on a version created by the creeds. You rely on what the creeds say, I rely on the scriptures and the Holy Ghost.
"You listen to a deceiving spirit my friend who pretends to be the Holy Spirit but teaches and affirms lies" Nor, I don't. Sorry.
@Norrington516 "Read THE BIBLE, on its own, by itself, without referring to those additions that the Mormon church foisted upon you and hear the truth" Read one of the 2 Testaments, OT or NT, alone instead of both. That's the same thing you're asking me to do. Nor, my answer to your ignorant request is no. The Bible and Book of Mormon do teach the truth as do D&C and the Pearl of Great Price. You don't have the Holy Ghost with you because you deny it. You don't believe in it.
@landsdown44 "To deny it is to place yourself outside the Christian Faith, and of course, the mormon religion is outside the Christian Faith."
I deny the "trinity" concept because its unbiblical. I'm a Biblical Christian, not a trinitarian. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints isn't just another Christian church, its the ONLY Biblical Christian church.
@majinish if you truly are Biblical then what are you doing about those verses that were shown? What are you doing about the concept that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are worshipped co-equal with God the Father and NO ONE ELSE - not angels, not prophets, not Moses, Abraham, John the Baptist nor Elijah get worshipped - only God. The problem is you do not accept the Bible as the true word of God but have accepted books written by men like Joseph Smith and Brigham Young who could never understand God.
@Norrington516 "you do not accept the Bible as the true word of God" False. I do accept the Bible as the true word of God. All of the Bible is God's word but the Bible isn't all of God's word. You're giving God a limit.
"but have accepted books written by men" Correction, the Book of Mormon was translated from the Golden Plates.
"who could never understand God." They were true prophets of God so they certainly understood God while you, however, do not. You believe in the "trinity", not God.
@majinish - It's not about giving God a limit. It's a simple matter of disunity and contradiction. The Book of Mormon and other Mormon revelations directly contradict what is said in the Bible. How can you say that the Bible is true when the Mormon books contradict it. One or the other must be wrong. Furthermore, the so-called prophet Joseph Smith behaves contrary to the actions of any true Biblical prophet.
I hate to break it to you Majinish but the Mormon prophets were false prophets.
@Norrington516 "The Book of Mormon and other Mormon revelations directly contradict what is said in the Bible" I've heard the claims anti-Mormons make and sorry but there are no contradictions between the Bible and Book of Mormon.
"How can you say that the Bible is true when the Mormon books contradict it" Because the Bible and Book of Mormon are true and they don't contradict.
@Norrington516 "One or the other must be wrong" False. Your statement is the same as saying its either Mark or John, Luke or Matthew, Matthew or Paul, Paul or Peter, John or James, etc. Its not one or the other, its both. What do you tell Jews if they say the Bible is either the Old or New Testament and not both? Odds are you don't see your error because anti-Mormons are taught to overlook the errors in their thought.
@Norrington516 "Furthermore, the so-called prophet Joseph Smith behaves contrary to the actions of any true Biblical prophet." The LORD gave David 4 married women. Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines. Moses was asked by the LORD why he kept disobeying the commandments. Paul the apostle was at one time an anti-Christian by the name of Saul. Moses wasn't the best talker. Joseph Smith, Brigham Young, and the other modern-day prophets are true prophets of God.
@majinish Dude, you should NOT use Solomon as an example, and here's why:
Deuteronomy 17:16,17, "The king, moreover, must not acquire great numbers of horses for himself or make the people return to Egypt to get more of them, for the Lord has told you, “You are not to go back that way again.” He must not take many wives, or his heart will be led astray. He must not accumulate large amounts of silver and gold."
@majinish If God gave David his wives then why did David first commit adultery and murder one of his futures wife's current husbands to get her? I suppose you believe that was God's perfect plan too? Joseph Smith likewise also took 11 wives as his own who were currently married to other men and without divorce had sexual relations with them claiming God told him to. J. Smith is in hell today for his unrepentant sin of Adultery and his blasphemy against God.
@landsdown44 On the devil-inspired doctrine of the "Trinity"
The deity of Jesus Christ was decided upon by a vote . A few hundred church leaders gathered at Nicea in 325 AD. to vote on the matter. (the vote was loaded, because most of the opposing bishops were either KILLED or EXHILED or excluded!) Representation for the TRUTH about the Godhead was allowed by only a small fraction of those TRUE Christians...we lost the TRUTH then to the pagan trinity of man.
@LDS4Life71 Your understanding of how the Bible came to be is just, well, there are no words except pathetic. The deity of Jesus was decided when Jesus revealed it to his disciples and was recorded in the first century by the Gospel writers and the Apostle Paul. Your awareness of Nicea is nonexistent. Sorry, but that is the truth. Read some history. Don't remain ignorant forever.
Smith and Young were disgusting humans who started a cult . They were murderers and pedophiles, not prophets.
@landsdown44 hahaha Joseph SMith and Brigham Young were true prophets of God, and you're buying lies of the apostates shows you are gullible. And not willing to look at it yourself. Let your Pastor continue to misguide you for you are not born again, and the loser speaking in this video is a complete idiot.
@LDS4Life71 I happen to have facts. The manuscripts composing the entire New Testament were written in the first century. The The accuracy of those manuscripts are is not in doubt by scholarship, just by idiots. Both Smith and Young were murderers and phedophiles and racists. No part of that is Christlike!
You apparently think you can be my judge. Here's a newsflash. It isn't you. I isn't Smith or Young. They will be judge and found wanting. Their evil exposes them.
@landsdown44 They will not be found wanting. It shall be you and your lying evangelical ilk that shall be found wanting. Your evil is what shall be exposed. Joseph Smith and Brigham Young were true prophets of God.
@LDS4Life71 I underestand. When you have no facts to back up your ridiculous claims you resort to mockery, typical mormon tactic. Actually I have studied the origions of New Testament manuscripts in graduate school.
@landsdown44 Joseph Allen, Jeff Lindsay, John Sorenson, Dan Clark, Kerry Shirts and many others have shown clearly that we have found the BoM cities, but the stone cites lack the inscriptions. For example in the inscription at Palenque, Gua the inscription begins "And it came to pass." Also weights and measures are still used today just like the BoM. Also the Mayan term of time called a Bactun is mentioned by the Book of Mormon, also found a strain of barely ECT... ECT....
@LDS4Life71 You are sooooooo wrong. There is, to date not one single shred of evidence to back up even one single claim of the book of mormon. Please read objective data instead of relying on what you learned at some mormon book study. I have examined those claims. They are totally without support. One more reason to reject any claim of that religion.
@LDS4Life71 I have looked those claims up and they are NOT supported by scholarship. You have been sold a bill of goods. The Gospel in the Christian New Testament is the very same gospel that was written in the 1st century. There is so much evidence to support that claim that it is indisuptable. Rather than mock you might try to honestly investigate the origions of mormonism and the origions of the book of mormon that isn't worth the paper its printed on. Again, you are not my judge.
@LDS4Life71 I once saught the truth and examined mormonism. Any honest examination of the facts will reveal clearly that mormonism is completely empty. Someone should tell you that you don't discover the truth by looking for a warm fuzzy feeling inside. Any honest study of the lives of Smith and Young will reveal beyond any doubt that these were arrogant, evil men. God doesn't work through such liars.
@landsdown44 You don't have facts. All you have is accusations and assumptions. Your gospel is not biblical, and you are NOT born again, and you have built your foundation on a sandy foundation like the fool in Matt 7.
@LDS4Life71 it's actually inpired during advent of the bible it was just formalized in Nicaea . any one who claims saw God with a body of flesh and bones no witnesses around is a charlatan .
@LDS4Life71 Joseph Smith is easy to disproove Josephs first vision in the bible as far as God having a body of flesh and bones the fact is the mormon Christ is a much weeker Christ then the on the bible talks about.
@BaurakAle7 Look... I once worked for a man from Utha, 2 yrs, who had a company in Ca. Many of the "missionary came & worked for him, riding bikes when they were not working spent hrs telling me about Mormonism. Being younger & dumb I listened . I was younger then, I'm wiser than that now. I understand why young are targeted .These guys knew less than I did. Because I had been to many churches also raised Catholic, They only knew Mormons. I've seen it all when it come to this group.
@BaurakAle7 Brigham Young had fifty-five wives . JS, had about 33 or 34 & some were married to someone else before he decided he wanted them as wives!! about 1/3 of them teenagers, including two fourteen-year-old girls. He publicly & repeatedly denied he advocated polygamy. Smith told his potential wives that marriage to him would ensure their spiritual exaltation Get them to heaven.
Sounds like that potion Jim Jones was passing out. He was a Prophet too...
@BaurakAle7 Ethan Smith wrote,View of the Hebrews just before the BoM was written. BoM wasn't directly plagiarized, but both have the same theme, Hebrews populated the Americas. A common theme in JS's day. Craig Criddle has done amazing work with computer linguistics & a team from Stanford to show, BoM was put together by Cowdery, Rigdon & J.Smith together. A book called Who Really Wrote BoM, details this. These cons worked their asses off on this project in order to con people for $.
The 1st edition of BOM , riddled with grammatical errors. This questions the text written by man or translated divinely. More significant errors in early editions of the BOM such as changing the name of King Benjamin to King Mosiah,King Benjamin was already dead at this point, or changing that Mary was the 'mother of God to the son of God'.
The 3,913 changes to the 1st edition of Book of Mormon. The book Smith called 'the most correct book on earth. Smith a con!
from the start their are mistakes in this video,I will only mention one.He use his PROPER NAME after "KAI" (meaning and)but Sharps dubious" "rule" excludes PROPER Names! I have not read any recent Scholars that say the Shars rule is decisive. there are many facts in Pauls writings about GOD the Being and his only begotten son, which allows Paul NOT to use the definite article. So if there was a second article after KAI,does that mean there are 2 beings,if so then John 20:28 there are 2 beings
@mormongirl97 You mean like your leaders "dissed" Christianity? Let me give you some examples.
"Brother Taylor has just said that the religions of the day were hatched in hell. The eggs were laid in hell, hatched on its borders, and then kicked on to the earth." - Prophet Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses 6:176
"With a regard to true theology, a more ignorant people never lived than the present so-called Christian world." - Prophet Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses 8:199
@GraceAlone71 Mormons ARE Christians so why would our leaders diss Christianity? If you believe that Christ is the Savior and that He died for the sins of the world and is God's only begotten son, then you're a Christian.
@mormongirl97 The thing is mormongirl, you worship a very different Jesus than I do. The Jesus of the Bible isn't our elder spirit brother, he's God, he's an uncreated being. The Jesus of Mormonism was created from a union between the Mormon god, and Mary. He was also created spiritual in the pre-existence from a union between the Mormon god, and his goddess wife, along with everyone else, as your religion teaches.
@mormongirl97 And what about what Joseph Smith said? "The personages who stood above me in the light, which of all the sects was right — and which I should join. I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong, and the personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in His sight: that those professors were all corrupt . . ." (Joseph Smith, History of the Church, vol. 1, p. 5-6).
@GraceAlone71 Read chapter 1 verses 8-20. Joseph Smith Jr. was reading the Bible and ccame upon the scripture James 1:5 which reads: If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth unto all men liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. Joseph later went to a grove of trees and started to pray. He then describes a great darkness that came over him and kept him from speaking. He asked the Lord to deliver him and just as he was about to give up, a pillar of light appeared.
@mormongirl97 Yes, I know the story Smith told, but that's all it is a story. God would never tell anyone to go and start their own religion, nor would he say something was lost and needed to be "restored". Founders of other false religions such as Islam, Jehovah Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventist, and Scientology all have their stories of how they knew mainline Christianity wasn't true.
To say that God needed a man to "restore" something would imply that God was fallible, which he is not.
@mormongirl97 The sad thing is you'll have put your trust and salvation in Smith, your prophets, and church and I'll have put my trust and salvation in Jesus Christ alone. If you're right I still won't go to hell, if I'm right you'll be cast into a place I know you don't want to be.
I choose Jesus over Smith, prophets and temples. I choose to place my salvation in his hands and his grace, not in my works, deeds, or behavior.
@mormongirl97 Why should any religion be exempt from criticism? because it has no leg to stand on in reality, there is no evidence supporting a god, All of your "holy" books are immoral.
@ronocko There is truth in the Book of Mormon. I have seen it for myself. In Central America a temple was discovered that had young men carved on it's pillars. These young men were known in the Book of Mormon as Helaman's Stripling Warriors. The temple is a recent discovery and Joseph Smith never even WENT to Central America, so how would it be in the Book of Mormon if it wasn't true?
@mormongirl97 Thats going to need proof show me references that this temple exists and show me the passage where the bible says these people created this temple. See there's alot of misinformation about archaeological finds and peoples religions look at all the "Noah's arks" they've found. Look into things for yourself don't take peoples word for it do the research from more than just one perspective.
@mormongirl97 I'm not sure if you've realized but the mormon hoax has been proven to be false by evidence. Even Dr. Thomas Murphey an ex-mormon has succumb to the evidence of DNA testing which proved that (American Indians are NOT descendants of Israelities) as Joseph Smith the teller of tall tales claimed. Also the great battle described in the book of mormons which killed off all the Israelities was proven false by Archeologist. mormonism teaches false doctrines.
@JesusSavedme78 American Indians are decendants of the Lamanites who were decendants of Lehi who took his family and left Jerusalem around 600 B.C. They traveled through the wilderness until they came to a great body of water and the Lord told Nephi, Lehi's youngest (and most faithful) son, to build a ship. Laman and Lemuel (Lehi's oldest sons) thought Nephi couldn't do it. Nephi eventually got them to help and they crossed the ocean. They landed in what is now Central America.
@mormongirl97 I know this is what your family, YW, and Church leaders are beating into your brain right now, and to say far away from people like me who have left the church. But one of these days you are going to have to decided for yourself what is "truth", and I pray that you have a strong Christian friend to help guide you and show you who Jesus really is.
You see, it's not about a relationship with a religion, but a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Hi, what if I were to say to you that Central America was actually built by a race of super beavers that came from Venus. And that the proof I have of the super beavers from Venus was revealed to me by moroni's brother jambroni.
Would you believe in this story or not?
Of course you wouldn't ! but why? it is because there is no evidence and the story is RIDICULOUS - I hope you can understand the point I am making. mormonism has been proven false by ALL SCIENTIST, archeologist etc ...
DNA states that American Indians are not of Jews origin. If you compare a Native American and a real Jew from top to bottom, there is nothing in common. The language, the food, the shelters, names, etc are different. Even the hill of Comorah where they fought, you will never find human bones laying there. Joseph is the biggest liar in history of human kind because he borrowed from the Bible to write the book of mormon. How come he has 6 versions of the first vision? Go to utlm.org for the facts
@a3zfasi Joseph Smith died as a martyr for his cause. do you think someone would die for a lie? especially if they KNEW it was a lie? and where is your proof that there are "6 versions of the first vision"? have you personally checked the hill Comorah for bones? if not, then how do you know there aren't any? faith is believing in things you can't see. i wasn't there to watch Nephi build a boat, but i know through faith that he did. you can lie all you want, but i know the facts.
Sorry mormon girl, but the facts are that joe was lying. Im not sure how old you are, but you should look into your churchs history. Soo many things dont add up even in mormon terms. I live in SLC and its a joke, when you look at it (Mormonism) with out a brain washed mind. @mormongirl97
@777DMT7777 I'm a convert to the LDS church and I read all this anti-Mormon stuff years ago when I was first investigating the church. I took time to learn the answers. I find that the church answers my questions about life, and gives us a set of gospel principles to live by. I couldn't be a member of any other church knowing what I know.
@mormongirl97 The events leading up to Joseph Smith's death were hardly the acts of a martyr. In my opinion, JS was throwing a fit by destroying the Nauvoo Expositor because it published unfavorable material on him. He was then imprisoned for his actions. The mob attacked him in prison. He fought back even injuring people in the process before he was killed. The amount of pride that man had was incredible.
JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES ARE CHRISTIANS, AND YOU ARE BEING INSUFFERABLY IGNORANT! Arch-angel of Michael? I've never heard of such thing, and many of my best friend's and family members are Jehovah's Witnesses.

@sk8er408 Black people aren't allowed to hold priesthood, and the book of Mormon says that their blackness is a punishment for their sins. Many of the high-esteemed leaders of the LDS church, including Joe Smith, were racist in the extreme.

The theatrics are distracting.
Then also assert the Book of Mormon to be holier than the Bible...hmm When there is more manuscripts supporting the "mistranslated" B
danritter96 2 months ago

His latter claims about God were contradictory to the BoM and the Bible.
ssuperbill2 2 months ago
LDS hold the Holy Ghost in higher regard than this guy. We trust the Holy Ghost to lead us to all truth. And LDS also believe the Holy Ghost is God. The witness of the Holy Ghost is key to LDS.
trencher7 2 months ago
The word Christian is only used 3 times in the Bible. None of the usages exclude LDS from Christendom. And pull out a dictionary. LDS also fall under "Christian". Nice try, but you have to totally fabricate a new definiton to exclude whoever you want. What is it with Evangelicals and their belief they hold the copyright to the name. Usually you can just ask them if Catholics are Christians as well and when they say "no" you know they are nuts.
trencher7 2 months ago
This guy is a clown. He should go back to sportscasting or something. Believing different things about Jesus does not magically create another Jesus. Apparently he hasn;t read the Book of Mormon which does teach Jesus is "The Eternal God". You can just read that in the title page. And LDS also believe Jesus (see Book of Abraham) was an "eternal intelligence " which wasn't created. Unless he believes Christ taking on a body means he was partiually created, then he has the same problem.
trencher7 2 months ago
@trencher7 Mormons don't believe Jesus is THEE Eternal God, rather Jesus has become A Eternal God. And even though Mormons throw around the word eternal like it should mean everlasting to everlasting, no Mormon believes God has always been God or that Jesus has always existed...They believe they are both created beings, unlike the Bible teaches and that even Elohim was once a man and Jesus (came into existence) through Elohim's procreation with one of his many heavenly brides.. =different jesus
ssuperbill2 2 months ago
@ssuperbill2 Neither you nor this smoothtalker knows what he is talking about. The Book of Mormon was written (as the title page states) "to the convincing of the Jew and Gentile that JESUS is the CHRIST, the ETERNAL GOD, manifesting himself unto all nations". And the Book of Abraham describes God and Jesus as eternal intelligences without beginning. LDS believe in the the same Jesus who was the son of God and died for our sins on the cross.
trencher7 2 months ago
@trencher7 The BoM was J. Smith's first piece of work which was very similar to Biblical teachings, but Joseph Smith's teachings evolved and many latter revelations contradict the most perfect revelation according to LDS (BoM) by Smith claiming as recorded by Journal of Discourses that God was not eternal (once a man) that Jesus was born of God, there is not one but a council of gods, and even the moon's inhabitants lived to be 1,000 years old. Are you naive or just lying?
ssuperbill2 2 months ago
@ssuperbill2 You should know that the Journal of Discoures isn't a doctrinal source. You act like it is. Also many people believed the moon was inhabited back then, including scientists. It wasn't any kind of revelation or anything doctrinal. Also any reference to JS talking about moon inhabitants were 3rd hand at best, but he could have easily believed it back then. Just like the OT is filled with a bogus view of the heavens and cosmology. Not a big deal.

they also believe there are innumerable gods beside these. And they believe that they, too will one day become gods. Again, a totally different definition of who God is, what happens to man, salvation, etc. compared to Orthodox Christianity. "As man is, God once was. As God is, man may become." and the Father of Jesus' Father has a Father. This endless succession of Fathers goes on and on, up the hierarchy of exalted beings in the universe. ok here some historical inaccuracies in the Mormon scriptures.

You are a WOLF in SHEEP's clothing blinding those that are right hearted to the truth of things which does not include anything Trinity releated.
scca04wrx 6 months ago
There are so many examples in the scriptures about Jesus praying to his father and it is silly to believe that Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit are one entity. Those that believe that have been misled!
scca04wrx 6 months ago
@scca04wrx What is silly is to deny the trinity. What you are really denying is the possibility that God is more complex than humans are. When you finally give up trying to create God in your own image you might catch on to the truth of the Trinity.
landsdown44 6 months ago 33
@landsdown44 yah it's more logical to think our Creator is has multiple personality disorder and liked to talk to himself to put on a show in front of the ignorant humans. Actually, it makes more sense that the early Christians were converts from the monotheistic Judaism and didn't want to be associated with the polytheistic Greeks and Romans after Hellenistic thought pointed out that the Christians had multiple Gods. So the simple thing to do was say, well, "They are all the same godly blob!"
thatmanguy 5 months ago
@thatmanguy In all of Christian history there has NEVER been a time when there were multiple gods and that is NOWHERE in the Scripture. Mormons constantly try to make God into our image, instead of allowing God to express Himself in the way God chooses, which has been as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. You didn't say anything that made sense or that was historically correct, but hey, nice try.
landsdown44 5 months ago
@landsdown44 I don't care what the Mormons believe, if a Christian is going to believe what is in his own book then he had better read all of it. Gen 1:26, 27 - God says "let US make man in OUR image" which means He's talking to himself even when humans aren't around to view the show. Matthew 27:46 - Jesus shouts out to God (Himself?) "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" Also read John 17:11-23 if you want Jesus to simply explain how humans are "one" with Him as He is "one" with God
thatmanguy 5 months ago
@thatmanguy Yup, Genesis 1:26ff, just more evidence for the Trinity. Thank you for making my point. The Christian God is one God, three persons. If you think that there would be a god that would be so small that even you could begin to comprehend him, then you are guilty of what I have already said, creating god in your own image. That is the same mistake mormonism makes. See, you and mormons are a good fit, lausy at theology, but a good fit.
landsdown44 5 months ago
@landsdown44 That verse is a real lousy attempt to support the "trinity" heresy.
majinish 5 months ago
@majinish As you may recall, it was a verse you picked out, but it made my case. Sucks, doesn't it. Passages reagarding the Trinity are all over the place. To deny it is to place yourself outside the Christian Faith, and of course, the mormon religion is outside the Christian Faith.
landsdown44 5 months ago
@landsdown44 "but it made my case. Sucks, doesn't it" No because Genesis 1:26 doesn't do anything for the heretical "trinity" concept.
"Passages reagarding the Trinity are all over the place." I understand what the Bible teaches because I read and study it by the Holy Ghost. Not once has the Bible said anything about the "trinity" heresy.
majinish 4 months ago

@landsdown44 "Brigham Young was a blatant racist, and you are relying on your feeling to follow those false prophets" He wasn't for his time. What's the deal with people trying to use today's rules and putting them on a society that long ago? No, I don't follow any false prophets. I rely on the Holy Ghost. That's what makes you an apostate Christian. You do not believe in the Holy Ghost or the power of it.
majinish 4 months ago
@majinish "he wasn't a racist for his time".
Tell me, when was it a good time to be a racist! Brigham Young: "The Negro is damned and is doomed to serve his master till God chooses to remove the curse of Ham" - What a piece of shit.
landsdown44 4 months ago 23

Norrington516 4 months ago
@Norrington516 "you rely on is not the Holy Spirit that I know and love because He is God" You're partially right. I don't rely on a version created by the creeds. You rely on what the creeds say, I rely on the scriptures and the Holy Ghost.
"You listen to a deceiving spirit my friend who pretends to be the Holy Spirit but teaches and affirms lies" Nor, I don't. Sorry.
majinish 4 months ago
@Norrington516 "Read THE BIBLE, on its own, by itself, without referring to those additions that the Mormon church foisted upon you and hear the truth" Read one of the 2 Testaments, OT or NT, alone instead of both. That's the same thing you're asking me to do. Nor, my answer to your ignorant request is no. The Bible and Book of Mormon do teach the truth as do D&C and the Pearl of Great Price. You don't have the Holy Ghost with you because you deny it. You don't believe in it.
majinish 4 months ago
@Norrington516 And another thing about reading the Bible, you don't even believe in all of it. Don't try saying you do because most non-LDS do not.
majinish 4 months ago
@landsdown44 "To deny it is to place yourself outside the Christian Faith, and of course, the mormon religion is outside the Christian Faith."
I deny the "trinity" concept because its unbiblical. I'm a Biblical Christian, not a trinitarian. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints isn't just another Christian church, its the ONLY Biblical Christian church.
majinish 4 months ago
@majinish if you truly are Biblical then what are you doing about those verses that were shown? What are you doing about the concept that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are worshipped co-equal with God the Father and NO ONE ELSE - not angels, not prophets, not Moses, Abraham, John the Baptist nor Elijah get worshipped - only God. The problem is you do not accept the Bible as the true word of God but have accepted books written by men like Joseph Smith and Brigham Young who could never understand God.
Norrington516 4 months ago
@Norrington516 "you do not accept the Bible as the true word of God" False. I do accept the Bible as the true word of God. All of the Bible is God's word but the Bible isn't all of God's word. You're giving God a limit.
"but have accepted books written by men" Correction, the Book of Mormon was translated from the Golden Plates.
"who could never understand God." They were true prophets of God so they certainly understood God while you, however, do not. You believe in the "trinity", not God.
majinish 4 months ago
@majinish - It's not about giving God a limit. It's a simple matter of disunity and contradiction. The Book of Mormon and other Mormon revelations directly contradict what is said in the Bible. How can you say that the Bible is true when the Mormon books contradict it. One or the other must be wrong. Furthermore, the so-called prophet Joseph Smith behaves contrary to the actions of any true Biblical prophet.
I hate to break it to you Majinish but the Mormon prophets were false prophets.
Norrington516 4 months ago
@Norrington516 "The Book of Mormon and other Mormon revelations directly contradict what is said in the Bible" I've heard the claims anti-Mormons make and sorry but there are no contradictions between the Bible and Book of Mormon.
"How can you say that the Bible is true when the Mormon books contradict it" Because the Bible and Book of Mormon are true and they don't contradict.
majinish 4 months ago
@Norrington516 "One or the other must be wrong" False. Your statement is the same as saying its either Mark or John, Luke or Matthew, Matthew or Paul, Paul or Peter, John or James, etc. Its not one or the other, its both. What do you tell Jews if they say the Bible is either the Old or New Testament and not both? Odds are you don't see your error because anti-Mormons are taught to overlook the errors in their thought.
majinish 4 months ago
@Norrington516 "Furthermore, the so-called prophet Joseph Smith behaves contrary to the actions of any true Biblical prophet." The LORD gave David 4 married women. Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines. Moses was asked by the LORD why he kept disobeying the commandments. Paul the apostle was at one time an anti-Christian by the name of Saul. Moses wasn't the best talker. Joseph Smith, Brigham Young, and the other modern-day prophets are true prophets of God.
majinish 4 months ago
@majinish Dude, you should NOT use Solomon as an example, and here's why:
Deuteronomy 17:16,17, "The king, moreover, must not acquire great numbers of horses for himself or make the people return to Egypt to get more of them, for the Lord has told you, “You are not to go back that way again.” He must not take many wives, or his heart will be led astray. He must not accumulate large amounts of silver and gold."
Then what happened to him?
1 Kings 10, especially verse 14
beast's mark = sin/greed
krononomikon 2 months ago

LDS4Life71 4 months ago
@LDS4Life71 Your understanding of how the Bible came to be is just, well, there are no words except pathetic. The deity of Jesus was decided when Jesus revealed it to his disciples and was recorded in the first century by the Gospel writers and the Apostle Paul. Your awareness of Nicea is nonexistent. Sorry, but that is the truth. Read some history. Don't remain ignorant forever.
Smith and Young were disgusting humans who started a cult . They were murderers and pedophiles, not prophets.

2. Try to explain away Brigham Young's blatant racism which is also in II Nephi 5:21
landsdown44 4 months ago
@landsdown44 Joseph Allen, Jeff Lindsay, John Sorenson, Dan Clark, Kerry Shirts and many others have shown clearly that we have found the BoM cities, but the stone cites lack the inscriptions. For example in the inscription at Palenque, Gua the inscription begins "And it came to pass." Also weights and measures are still used today just like the BoM. Also the Mayan term of time called a Bactun is mentioned by the Book of Mormon, also found a strain of barely ECT... ECT....
LDS4Life71 4 months ago
@LDS4Life71 You are sooooooo wrong. There is, to date not one single shred of evidence to back up even one single claim of the book of mormon. Please read objective data instead of relying on what you learned at some mormon book study. I have examined those claims. They are totally without support. One more reason to reject any claim of that religion.
landsdown44 4 months ago
@landsdown44 That is a complete lie. I just named a FEW, and you claim there is NONE. WHATEVER!
LDS4Life71 4 months ago
@LDS4Life71 I have looked those claims up and they are NOT supported by scholarship. You have been sold a bill of goods. The Gospel in the Christian New Testament is the very same gospel that was written in the 1st century. There is so much evidence to support that claim that it is indisuptable. Rather than mock you might try to honestly investigate the origions of mormonism and the origions of the book of mormon that isn't worth the paper its printed on. Again, you are not my judge.

GraceAlone71 1 year ago
@GraceAlone71 Mormons ARE Christians so why would our leaders diss Christianity? If you believe that Christ is the Savior and that He died for the sins of the world and is God's only begotten son, then you're a Christian.
mormongirl97 1 year ago
@mormongirl97 The thing is mormongirl, you worship a very different Jesus than I do. The Jesus of the Bible isn't our elder spirit brother, he's God, he's an uncreated being. The Jesus of Mormonism was created from a union between the Mormon god, and Mary. He was also created spiritual in the pre-existence from a union between the Mormon god, and his goddess wife, along with everyone else, as your religion teaches.
Sorry the Mormonism religion isn't Christian.
GraceAlone71 1 year ago
@mormongirl97 And what about what Joseph Smith said? "The personages who stood above me in the light, which of all the sects was right — and which I should join. I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong, and the personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in His sight: that those professors were all corrupt . . ." (Joseph Smith, History of the Church, vol. 1, p. 5-6).
GraceAlone71 1 year ago
@GraceAlone71 Read chapter 1 verses 8-20. Joseph Smith Jr. was reading the Bible and ccame upon the scripture James 1:5 which reads: If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth unto all men liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. Joseph later went to a grove of trees and started to pray. He then describes a great darkness that came over him and kept him from speaking. He asked the Lord to deliver him and just as he was about to give up, a pillar of light appeared.
mormongirl97 1 year ago
@mormongirl97 Yes, I know the story Smith told, but that's all it is a story. God would never tell anyone to go and start their own religion, nor would he say something was lost and needed to be "restored". Founders of other false religions such as Islam, Jehovah Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventist, and Scientology all have their stories of how they knew mainline Christianity wasn't true.
To say that God needed a man to "restore" something would imply that God was fallible, which he is not.
GraceAlone71 1 year ago
@GraceAlone71 It might be just a story to you, but i know it's true. We'll see who was right at the last day.

@mormongirl97 Why should any religion be exempt from criticism? because it has no leg to stand on in reality, there is no evidence supporting a god, All of your "holy" books are immoral.
ronocko 1 year ago
@ronocko There is truth in the Book of Mormon. I have seen it for myself. In Central America a temple was discovered that had young men carved on it's pillars. These young men were known in the Book of Mormon as Helaman's Stripling Warriors. The temple is a recent discovery and Joseph Smith never even WENT to Central America, so how would it be in the Book of Mormon if it wasn't true?
mormongirl97 1 year ago
@mormongirl97 Thats going to need proof show me references that this temple exists and show me the passage where the bible says these people created this temple. See there's alot of misinformation about archaeological finds and peoples religions look at all the "Noah's arks" they've found. Look into things for yourself don't take peoples word for it do the research from more than just one perspective.
ronocko 1 year ago
@mormongirl97 I'm not sure if you've realized but the mormon hoax has been proven to be false by evidence. Even Dr. Thomas Murphey an ex-mormon has succumb to the evidence of DNA testing which proved that (American Indians are NOT descendants of Israelities) as Joseph Smith the teller of tall tales claimed. Also the great battle described in the book of mormons which killed off all the Israelities was proven false by Archeologist. mormonism teaches false doctrines.
JesusSavedme78 1 year ago
@JesusSavedme78 American Indians are decendants of the Lamanites who were decendants of Lehi who took his family and left Jerusalem around 600 B.C. They traveled through the wilderness until they came to a great body of water and the Lord told Nephi, Lehi's youngest (and most faithful) son, to build a ship. Laman and Lemuel (Lehi's oldest sons) thought Nephi couldn't do it. Nephi eventually got them to help and they crossed the ocean. They landed in what is now Central America.
mormongirl97 1 year ago
@mormongirl97 I know this is what your family, YW, and Church leaders are beating into your brain right now, and to say far away from people like me who have left the church. But one of these days you are going to have to decided for yourself what is "truth", and I pray that you have a strong Christian friend to help guide you and show you who Jesus really is.
You see, it's not about a relationship with a religion, but a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Would you believe in this story or not?
Of course you wouldn't ! but why? it is because there is no evidence and the story is RIDICULOUS - I hope you can understand the point I am making. mormonism has been proven false by ALL SCIENTIST, archeologist etc ...
JesusSavedme78 1 year ago
DNA states that American Indians are not of Jews origin. If you compare a Native American and a real Jew from top to bottom, there is nothing in common. The language, the food, the shelters, names, etc are different. Even the hill of Comorah where they fought, you will never find human bones laying there. Joseph is the biggest liar in history of human kind because he borrowed from the Bible to write the book of mormon. How come he has 6 versions of the first vision? Go to utlm.org for the facts
a3zfasi 8 months ago
@a3zfasi Joseph Smith died as a martyr for his cause. do you think someone would die for a lie? especially if they KNEW it was a lie? and where is your proof that there are "6 versions of the first vision"? have you personally checked the hill Comorah for bones? if not, then how do you know there aren't any? faith is believing in things you can't see. i wasn't there to watch Nephi build a boat, but i know through faith that he did. you can lie all you want, but i know the facts.
