I cannot get my head round the idea of a meteor strike on Mars that can send up rocks with a velocity that not only exceeds escape velocity but enables it to reach earth. Surely such force would have vaporized a rock?
I do not beleive there will ever be a manned mission to Mars, in these times the money will never be available. But a sample return mission is possible and if there is water ice still at the poles a sample from there would be very interesting. But there is a problem, a lander there would need a nuclear power source since solar power would not be sufficient and the US might not get international agreement to land such equipment there if there is a real chance of finding life.

"The universe is infinite, eternal, and has no beginning and no end."
However there is such a thing as quantum fluctuations and according to some cosmologist's it can create a universe, as nothing is actually filled with something.
See the video called a universe from nothing by Lawrence Krauss.
The universe began and will end, as to why we may never understand. Unless science proves other wise thats it.

The process and knowledge used is not a secret, anybody who's willing to study can learn it. I m not discounting what is claimed in this video but at one point he mentions trapped gases in the Mars rock mirror the atmosphere on Mars as measured by the Viking lander in the 70s. This atmosphere is not ideal for the lush environment the video claims existed on Mars long ago.

@solidenber You can look at the bottom of the rock... It says, "made in mars." We bought 1 last year when the family took a tour of the red planet. Seriously though, nobody knows where it came from. And it's sciencefiction to say it was from a meteor impact... You have any idea the energy needed to get something out of a planet's orbit. You can strap nuclear explosives to the bottom of that rock and it still won't leave orbit. Look at our moon, it's already out there and can't leave.
