I just have to say, you are one brave lady! You may have been super nervous, but we couldn't tell! Woooo. Bravo mama! I am 35 weeks and we are head down so far. Shooo.
@eggybread76 Well the doctor told me that their was risks but it was so low (like 4%) that I shouldn't worry about it. I would just double check with your Dr. I feel like their is risk with anything, so I didn't concern myself with it. An ECV, Breech birth, and a C-sec are all kinda risky to some level!
@eggybread76 Honestly, it did not hurt that bad. I am so happy I did it because other wise I would have had to have a C-Section. It couldn't hurt to try! I wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide :)
Wow =) I have to show this video to my cousin. We're going to the hospital in a few hours for her ECV. She's so nervous but You make this look easy! I've had three completely natural deliveries and I think whatever you have to do to avoid major surgery is soooo worth it. Great Job!
@ShellNJoey I hope the best for her! I am so happy it was successful :) I want at least 2 more children and didn't want to have to have a c-sec for all of them. (I heard a vbac is not very probable) Let me know how it goes :)
Wow, you were so good about it. Some of the videos or shows I've seen of this happening the women are usually in pain and really show it. Kudos to you! :)
wow that looks intense, did they give you anything? i have read about meds to relax the uterus and to relax you and even in some cases to give an epidural before the procedure. this is really neat to see though! im probably going to need the same thing done, my little boy is footling breech and has been that way the whole pregnancy, my doc said if he doesnt move by my 33 week apt. then he pretty much is going to stay put and wont be able to move without help. thanks so much for sharing with us!
@RamosMommy I have heard about them giving meds or and epi, but I didn't get anything. I am not sure if they have me my IV before or after this, but they didn't put anything in it! I hope you can get your little one turned. There is nothing like the experience of a natural birth :)
