"Meantime listeners, I've enjoyed our time today. Tune it again tomorrow when we'll be talking with..." "Blah blah frasier crane show happy health goodbye." cracks me up every time!
During the scene where Daphne was telling the story about how she got her neighbors to stop making so much racket, my grandfather walked past my bedroom door and flipped out.,, It was embarrassing :O
Just found out the caller Jill is Nina Sharp from Fringe, I know actors have many roles in their lifetime but I was interested and just wanted to share if you didn't know :)
@EvelinaDeLain i think it just shows what snobs the two of them are. After all, the doctor was correct and well-spoken, they just picked on his little-known schools as an excuse to dismiss his diagnosis. :-)
@peachtable966 Hey, no, I get WHY they mocked him, being pretentions elitists and snobs and willing to stay in denial )) But it's the WAY they mocked him, with monkey jokes, I wasnt sure. But maybe I'm reading too much into this. :)
And also, after watching the series we can say, that the doctor was wrong :) Frasier and Niles, despite their constant competition dynamics, became the closest of friends and could trust each other, so it's good they didn't listen to the doctor. :_
@peachtable966 I agree, I've read too much into this. If anything, they were always politically correct, they judged people on their personalities and not their race or ethnicity.
@peachtable966 I think it's possible to watch them way more than twice! I think I've seen every episode at least 5-7 times and I still find something to enjoy or laugh about, it's my most favourite show of all times. I still play the seasons playlists on my iPad almost every night before I go to bed... This show is genius!
I love that bit at the end where they're mocking the guy's Caribbean schooling -- they're so obviously trying to find an excuse to ignore his advice that's less sappy than "we'd die of misery if we followed it." ;)

Yeah I wasn't too impressed with that either. This show was made in the 90s so the argument of it being a typical attitude of the times doesn't hold.
