I do play this on MK arcade Kollection. My favourite Mortal Kombat is MK II though. This game was too slow for my taste but it was nothing short of a big revolution amongst the fighting genre. The MK games that followed had undergone a huge improvement compared to its very first game, MK 1.

I played this game on SNES once a long time ago. In the Snes version Mortal Kombat 1 Reptile will appear anytime you you're playing on the pit stage, like in this game here he has all of Sub-Zeros and Scorpions moves and finishing moves. But in the SNES version he's named Reptile instead of Scorpion. In the SNES version he'll show up whether anything flies across the moon or not.

@eggbandicoot6 Cuz he's only a palette swap of Scorpion w/ Sub-Zero's moves, not a separate character. Home versions give him his own name on the bar.

They give his name away anyway at the end. So, it's like, they could have either left the name blank during the fight or wrote Reptile's name on his HP bar.

@falcoxcalibur ACTUALLY, the standing pose is scorpion's. That's why they messed up the name. ALSO, Reptile is a cross of Scorpion and Sub-Zero. Scorpion is yellow, Sub-Zero is blue. Yellow and blue make green, which is Reptile's color. Plus, Reptile uses the same attacks as Scorpion and Sub-Zero.

best way to punch someone is press hp and then lp consecutively. this way you wont disrupt and limit the punching at 3 or 4 punches. you may reach 6-8 punches.

scorpions leg takedown is a bitch 2 do, my ps wont let me do it on mk2.Also they shoulda made a throw back reptile like this in the further games so he had scorpions and sub-zeros moves.Take that for an ultimate contender.
