  • someone teach this kid a 2 seem grip or a lower arm slot.

thats flatter than a 12 year old girl.

  • Its an easy 93 but straight no movement big leagers eat those fastballs

  • i bet the catcher has missed a couple of them

  • I love that pop!

  • every hitter had to wipe the drool off the keyboard after seeing how flat it was...

  • @philliesphan1095 agreed. That shit would get ripped outta the park in no time

  • You people are all idiots. Hes throwing down the middle because thats where the catcher is putting the glove. Hes just showing of his fastball.

  • I would do anything to have this guy's talent. Too many people on here bashing a guy because he's better than them. If he's throwing 93 down the middle in a bullpen, wtf does albert pujols have to do with anything? pujols will hit even dirty ass pitches out thrown by MLB pitchers. man there are some retards on youtube!

  • @cageC64 he throws everything down the middle, good luck of even hoping to set up any off speed no matter how dirty it is. Lacking any sort of command of your FB will mean you get crushed at any speed. Throwing hard isnt talent its just someone with a live arm, controlling spots with any pitch is talent

  • yeah because he's throwing a pen, not pitching. He just let go three fastballs for the gun. You can't judge a guy's pitchability based on three fastballs to light up a gun in a bullpen. I'm talking about his raw ability. How many people do you know that throw 93 that are not elite, fast twitch athletes? I play in a pretty good JC conference and only the top D1 and pro prospects in the league are 90+.

  • He throws an above average Fastball, with 2 secondary pitches and a bit of experience you have a Pro.

To the retards: Duh, Pujols or Cano could smash those pitches because they're pros and among the best at that, if they couldn't smash these pitches they wouldn't be playing... cut the kid a break... he's still throwing better than you.

  • that's good but not good enough

  • I love how people say some a major leaguer would hit a homerun off of these pitches. He is not trying to spot up a pitch right now. The catcher is holding the glove right down the middle, and he hits it. 93 is good, but so is 88 if you can spot it and have 1 or 2 secondary pitches to go with it.

  • fucking kids are stupid 93 down the middle homerun rob cano bat delisted, stfu 93 is 93mph. Half of you kids cant even hit 85

  • aroldis chapman warm up pitches..

  • 93...right down the middle.... Homerun

  • @Davegilcross its in the bullpen...hes just showing off his fastball Duhhhhhhhh

  • =yeah its 93 but no movement so no movment+robinson cano bat=delisted

  • @crazymofo1608 he throwing fastballs not sliders...

  • Gas. For sure. How fast you think im throwing? Checkout my video and lemme know if opening my leg later will give much more velocity or decrease arm stress

  • keep pressing 4 ;)

  • GAS.

  • throws gas

  • That looks a lot like my fastball.. then again every fastball i throw ranges from 85-90ish... i never learned to pitch correctly lmao but im 100x better at hitting and fielding than pitching

  • I would love to see where Albert Pujols Moonshot those!!!!

  • If that's 93 just wait till you see upper 90's... Luckily he's on my team and probably going to be 1st round... Duane Underwood.

  • @Noby1Kanobi I saw Duane at PG....he throws fucking ched.

  • GAS

  • how old is he??

  • straight as an arrow

  • Nice pitches but it didn't look very "easy" he was trying pretty hard but definitely not trying to take away that was still pretty good

  • 93 on jugs = 90/91 in real life. invest in a stalker

  • @TheBlindMarksMan A lot of people seem to think that the jugs is consistently 2-3 miles slower than the stalker which I haven't found to be true. I've checked out the readings from pitchfx which is supposed to be most accurate and the actual gun speed on tv which is a jugs and its a minimal difference. The jugs usually will round up a 91.6 mph to 92. Not to say that there aren't bigger differences sometimes, but this is usually the case

  • Not sure if this was just for speed, but like most people already said,it's real estate man! That's right down main street, prices are high on main street. You gotta start hitting the side roads were the poor people live, then you'll be set for the MLB I'm sure.

  • clearly he was going for his max velocity. I doubt any of you can throw 93 so quit chirpin him.

  • 93 is good but no movement no location... And ur throwing it right down broadway every time... MLB players would fuck that up

  • gotta have control man.

  • No doubt he has speed, but 93 down the dick? Youre gonna get rocked.

  • mix in a stalker radar gun...

  • you guys do realize that every pitch he threw would have gotten the shit ripped out of by college and pro hitters. but all colleges care about is how hard you throw

  • Your arm. legs and core have to be loosened the hell up to do this.

  • 93 is a great to see belt high down the chute. I'll take that as a D1 hitter every day

  • He collapses his back leg right away ... he could get an extra 3-4 mph on that pitch.

  • pitchers threw just as hard back in the day if hitters could hit the ball farther for hrs why would anybody think pitchers didnt throw as hard. all this scientific bullshit is what it is some doctor or writer tryin to sell a book or snag a coaching job.

  • @1986billyk Mind expanding on this "Scientific Bullshit"?

  • @HELLSACOOLTODD yeah mind expanding is sometimes just being honest without ulterior motives.i follow a lot of sports and look for what similarities they possess. the reason i brought up tennis is there are no two sports with striking similarities than it and baseball. i marvel at how some baseball kids say tennis is a sissy sport . interms of heart and stamina baseball is not close .and the marvelous slill level of a federer is unknown to any athelete in baseball. i also tell tennis players

  • @HELLSACOOLTODD that baseball players are great atheletes in there own right and too hit a 90+ fastball or nastybreaking ball is one of the hardest feats in sport.though baseball guys are suprisingly more pampered than the great tennis players who have to go out and play a grueling 3-4 hour match and then have to do the same thing the next day. there physical ad mental reselientcy is way more developed ( by neccessity).

  • @HELLSACOOLTODD ps i hate the way these new pitchers do that gay looking windmill swing with there leg on follow through . none ofthe geats like carlton gibson koufax the young nolan n even maddux do that compulsory gay manuver, lol look how long n great their careers ( cept koufax..ie long) were. so if a new age scientf pitching coach tells you that is a must look at him nod respectfully n laugh , it just may put too much stress on the arm and not use the backside properly..

  • I hate it that he takes the speed when it is released from his hand and not when it crosses home plate. HE is more likely throwing 89 or 90 if that

  • who is mark james?

  • and another thing, the catcher is set up middle, obviously not trying to paint corners?

  • is this video slowed down? There is no way that first pitch was 93!

  • Just remember... it doesn't matter how fast you throw... unless you are Aroldis Chapman.

  • @xScopedAndShot yeah and he stll gets knocked around every now n then.. tennis players gotta return serves 120-140 on the regular. though there 90 + feet away so it hits them maybe 110-120 mph . still fast.. though the fear factor of a tennis ball is 0 and a hardball is always present. my point.. the human relex especially pros will adapt to that kinda speed.pete rose and joe morgan love tennis and played most evry day in the seventies . the contact ability of tennis players is second to none.

  • idk it doesnt look like hes throwing it easily lol. but still nice speed

  • Is that a Dayton Dragons hat?

  • Quetion: Is 75mph good for a 14 year old

  • @josephvalerio In reality - Yes, very good.

On Youtube - No. You should be throwing 115MPH by that age.

  • Cabrera would hit that 500ft the oppisite way.

  • he's obviously not trying to paint the corners guys.

  • Great job. You kinda look like Matt Moore from the right side(pitching motion)

  • Mmmmm, nice straight fastballs.

  • bautista'd put that shit in the fifth deck

  • Problem is, and i only get to see 3 pitches here, his fastball is as straight as an arrow, the best fast balls have some movement to them, even the 4-seam, yes people it does move, albeit not much. Major leaguers can hit 93 and straight all day... I think if he has good off-speed stuff (i dont know that he does or doesnt) he would be alright with a no-break heater

  • i like how he has a habit of dusting the rubber... on turf..

  • it's flat though

  • @kshay003 are u a coach or a manager or a scout how do u kno its flat?

  • @iT0XiC Because I'm a player and I've seen and batted against thousands of pitches before.

  • its crazy that people actually hit that

  • Dude that is a nice looking fastball!

  • nice tail on that fastball

  • Depends on what gun it is truly, and for all the people that say it doesn't matter, talk to a pro scout, and even college. JUGS' guns usually have the effect on scouts that cause them to take off 2-3 miles an hour from the velocity they see posted.

  • that 2nd pitch, albert pujols may or may not have hit that to the moon...

  • @flywilly2 albert probably wouldnt have been close to the moon.

700 feet would be reasonable lol

  • @blackmambaa9 yeah but reality check albert would only be a 25-30 hr guy if he played in the old yankee stadium wher the centerfield was 461 ft and the gleft gap was 430 ft everybody says down the lines was short but babe and joe d were big average hitters and they dont pull the ball so drastic. maris hit 61 and took adsvantage of the porches but he also hit ,269 that year. albert is good hof for sure but he plays in bandstands.

  • @flywilly2 hahhahaha thats too good

  • the only reason people use the gun from behind the plate is because u cant stand behind the pitcher while doing charts... its kinda hard to do lol

  • HO LY SHIT!

  • pshhh i can do that...

  • @sixburgh1784 y u trolling, hater

  • only tim wakefield would dislike this video xD

  • BIG WOOP

  • its wrong u timed it at the wrong spot but its still fast and accurate great pitching

  • great stuff. can he hit quality spots on and off the plate with it?

  • who cares? he throws easy 93. even if he can't hit spots, they can teach him how in pro ball.

  • what pitches does he throw

  • Comment removed

  • lol u calculate the speed gun behind the catcher retard. go behind the catcher and then speed it. -_-

  • @aspalt228gold whats the difference? either way the gun still calculates the speed, its just one is safer (Behind pitcher) and one is more stupid because no one wants to get hit in the face by a 93 Mph fastball... -.-

  • @mimio67 The ball actually slows down as it travels. 93 coming out of the hands is slower than 93 that you see in the majors.

  • @Dbouch42 every ball loses velocity as it travels through space. depending on external conditions.... wind ect. a ball that is off the hands at low 90's will show up at home plate in low 80's. but the radar gun gages top speed in flight. there is some factors that will fuck up a radar gun though and the ones at the ballparks are usually juiced up 2-4 mph for marketing purposes. the guns don't get tested for roids so it is an easy way of gettin ohs and ahs when 95/96 shows 100/101 mph on screen

  • @1986billyk i have never heard of a ball losing 10 mph in only 57 or so feet... im not saying its not true.... but i have a VERY hard time believing that considering i pitched for a good portion of my high school days.

  • @DavidOrtiz36 i didnt know that was the case but i heard hershiser say somethin aprroximatly that on espn game and orel is up on anything n everything when it comes to pitching. he also says the stadium guns are juiced up a couple three mph. and everybody knows that (marketing technique}

  • @mimio67 aand every gun picks up the top speed so it doesnt matter if the ball slows down.. whether you pick up the speed from behind the pitcher or the batter it is the same.

  • "easy" velocity is misleading. People say that because it looks easy due to how smooth he is. The same is often said about Josh Beckett, but in interviews he states that even though it looks easy, he's trying to throw the ball as hard as he possibly can.

"Smooth" velocity would be a better name for this sort of thing.

  • Can he hit? He would also be a hell of a fielding prospect if he could gun runners down with that arm.

  • Get a real radar gun... Jugs guns are crap... you might as well be using a circus gun. Buy a stalker.

  • needs to work on his mechanics and will clock 98mph easy

  • @selo204 whats wrong w/ his mechanics

  • @coolkidcater first of all he wont have time to defend himself and he dont have balance

  • @selo204 now that i look at it your right about that. any other things?

  • Great job

  • that is some good shit man. you look like you're body can generate more then just 93 as a previous comment had mentioned. unless you just make it look that smooth.

  • @Kr1chfact0rX the title says an EASY 93 mph, of course he can throw faster than that, but the title is saying that he can reach 93 while just "screwing around".

  • @wiiman0001 Thank you troll but, I know pitchers who throw an "easy" 95 but it's all finesse. I'm pretty sure he isn't screwing around though, especially throwing at that velocity.

  • @Kr1chfact0rX You're welcome dumbfuck. You do not know anyone who throws an "easy" 95, you say "he isn't screwing around though, especially throwing at that velocity" obviously you are too stupid to understand that "screwing around" was is quotations, wow you are fucking stupid.

  • @wiiman0001 cool, i am fucking stupid says a kid who has probably never walked onto a ball field or played a game of baseball. a lot of the ballplayers on here know what im talking about.

  • @Kr1chfact0rX You know what, you are absolutely right. I have never walked onto a baseball. I didn't walk onto a baseball field when I won 4 state championships in high school, I never walked onto a baseball field when I won 2 conference titles in college (I am a sophomore), I didn't walk onto a baseball field when I threw 2 perfect game and a no hitter in my 3 starts in a tourney in Az, the only person to ever do so.

  • @Kr1chfact0rX I also never walked onto a baseball field when I was a bat boy for the Los Angeles Dodgers growing up from 10 years old to 12 years old. I also never walked onto a field when my uncle, assistant GM of Public relations for the Boston Red Sox won the world series twice ('04 and '07) and I went on the field and congratulated him w/ all of the world champ sox players on opening days in 05 and 08. You're absolutely right, I never walked onto a baseball field to do any of those. dumbfuck

  • @wiiman0001 i meant playing. but all that other stuff is cool though. ive shared the same field with a number of MLB players... i've caught a lot of guys who have spent big league time and one who is in the Bigs with the Angels currently. we both know our shit. i just can't read.

  • its looks a damn 100

  • Comment removed

  • It looks like he is taking something off. No recoil at all. i dont know who he is but i bet he tops somewhere from 96-98. just a guess though

  • @hinkie07 wrong

  • @stonedawg16 either way hes got a fast arm. i just assume hes got another level based on how fast his body is moving and how his arm has hardly any recoil

  • it may be gas but its very very flat. makes it little bit easier. if this kid could throw a 2 seam hed be deadly

  • thats hard but id take something off and locate.

  • I don't care what number you put on it, that is gas.

  • The is Good

  • 93 on a jugs, its probably more like 89, 90

  • @SimpleStuff31 i agree..looks more like upper 80s

  • @lomeloft no it doesn't dude it looks 93

  • @stonedawg16 ..no it looks 92.4

  • @lomeloft your one funny man

  • @stonedawg16 *you're ;)

  • @SimpleStuff31 thats not true, some jugs run slow, my dad has a jugs that runs 1-2 mph slow compared the stalkers Perfect Game uses.

  • DAMN THATS PRETTY !!

  • He'll be 24 next week!!

  • lol at foot swipe at phantom dirt on turf mound. Looks good though.

  • @99Silverado53 lol yeah i know i thought that was funny too....swiping his foot at the mound as if there is no dirt but there is none, lol

  • Looks good, but... how old is he??...
