  • Man, does this manage to predict the future quite well.

  • wtf I remember this ahahaha

  • I wonder what would happen if Champ and China Girl ever met in real life.

  • the sound they add to the animation when the masks are put on does alot for the effect of being sucked into the virtual world.

  • Bakshi and pals were on POINT with this. It's like a 2D Second Life. I'm absolutely entranced by the visual style of the web-world-- must've been extremely refreshing to be able to change things up so much for just one episode.

  • finally found the right cartoon lol

  • this episode is love is a download nor eye for an eye

  • You know....this show rocked BUT are we to assume the internet is that laggy in the future?

  • For 1997 they did a pretty good job anticipating the feel of what would be the future of avatar based virtual socialization. I suppose they didn't realize broadband would solve most of lag problem.

  • Well the way I see it, the show's still dead on, atleast for here in the US. There was a feature done a while back and I think it said the majority of people in this country still use dial-up xD. I wouldn't be surprised if it were true.

  • You may be right about that. Wow, I simply can't imagine a world without broadband. It has encouraged my sense of instant gratification to the point where going back to dial-up may unleash some sort of infantile, homicidal tantrum in the depths of my ID. I have to face it, I am technology's bitch.

  • We're all pretty much technology's bitch these days xD. But broadband's like this great power, and w/ it comes great responsibility. That reminds me of a quote from some guy, I hear he's pretty famous but I can't remember lol.

  • try spider-man

  • @psychicwhoosh going back to dial up would be insanely frustrating but I've purposely done periods without a computer and that's not impossible or as frustrating. It is inconvenient in case you need to quickly look up like where to go or something like that.

  • Well.. you never know..

  • Who voiced the girl? She sounded very familiar to me.Love this ep!It's sad and sweet.

  • Mary Mara I think. She was Jill in Lost but thats all I remember her from.

  • this could make a good movie

  • @Blakefe I agree, a feature film of this, done in live action and CGI would be great

  • OMMGGG good plot !

  • One of my most favorite show. Its very sad there's not lots of episodes.:(

  • Cool stuff. Their stories are quite creative. Bakshi rocks and so does the crew who made this.

  • It's definately one of his best works.
