Very, very awesome! Is there any alternative to the Echopolex that is either smaller or more affordable? Loopers like the Digitech Jamman simply don't offer the necessary versatility to give real dynamics to music, being able select different layers separately and reduce/reintroduce/modify them..
Very cool. I can just trance out with my loop station for hours sometimes...I don't have the awesome setup you have, but I'm working on getting more and more to add to the sound.
(WARNING - Shameless self promo message) If anyone's interested I perform as a one man band with the aid of a RC-50 looper & Kaoss KP3 Pad. Live footage is available to view on my channel. Any feedback or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Hey David. It's really funny, I have listened to this song about two years ago and keep forgetting about it. After a while, when I listen to Massive Attack, I come back to search for the video again. Is there any way to get a higher quality version of the song?
You should make a CD of that... man, I could see that as a soundtrack for any cool movie. Out of curiosity, what is the big floor unit you have in front of the Echo Plex footswitcher?
Very inspiring ! How do you do the effect at 1:40 and 2:14...I'm planning to buy the adrenalinn 3 mainly because of your vid....I do have a Jammam and wish to be able to jam creative things like you do ! I wonder if you could tell me more details about all the preset used in your video. Thank you so much

These are all base things combined beautifully and prove the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts. This is conceptual, cerebral, and sensual. This is art. Thank you for sharing yourself, David.
Just very nice my friend. Thank you for this nice trip you just offered me! I am a big fan, I have also this kind of aproach whith my guitar when I play alone and it was a pleasure to listen to you. Lilo, a french in greece.
Thanks for the reply. Sounds overly complicated (to me, that is). Especially with the custom presets bit. I am low-tech and would like to try some off the shelf items to see what they sound like.
Still love this tune and can't wait for you to come up with more. Cheers for now.
That was great. Could have easily fit in as a piece from a film score. To build something as driving and structured as that on the fly.. great job. Beautiful work, m8. Hope to see more from you soon.
I (to me) do not see the artist using the black box on the floor that often, ? another midi controller or a another effects unit or
the looper (as the LinnII does not have a looper in it) and it looks to new
(to me) to be a echoplex, I like the table with
the power supply on it, ++ idea (Get a Patent!)I think the gray box is a DI (and notice the lack of cables going out from the table so stuff is not hidden to disguise etc)

@MrFretDoctor
The black box next to the echoplex is a midi foot controller which allows more direct access to the echoplex features.

You can buy a new Roger Linn Adrennalin III
for ? $375.00 new or buy a version II and update
the chip (actually two chips via upgrade kit)
for $99.00 plus shipping. On Roger Linn's web site it has info on the upgrade, and ? some
things to be aware of if you want to upgrade
and the unit you may buy used was not registered on their site (usually do that
for the warranty) the upgrade kits (as far as I know) can only be purchased from their site
Check out eBay for V I or II, this player is

he tapped the guitar rhythmically withh his hand and the mic picked it up he then used the looping sequence to process it like a drum beat.
he then did the same but by tapping the strings.

Re: set-up, The only piece I can say for sure
is a Roger Linn Adrenalin II (the box with the
yellow top) You can upgrade from a Version II
to a III for 99.00 plus shipping.Rare in that
with other processors
(such as Line 6 Pod's, Digitech, Boss GT's
you buy a new one or stay with the one you have. The Roger Linn Adrennalin is is a multi dimensional piece
amp modeler, drum machine and beat synched
effects ++, I am going to upgrade mine (from a
II to a III very soon!
