  • So it seems that John isn't playing this on the middle C, but one octive down. Does that appear right to others? On my piano, it sounds much better one octive down from middle C. But then again, I pretty much suck at piano, so I don't know if I have it right.

  • Leave yoko alone!!! John loved her so there for give it a rest.

  • @Emilyrevolver Also, she co-wrote Imagine as well. John admited it in 1980 that he had too big of a head at the time to give her credit.

  • 1 person can't imagine.

  • Is that Linda McCartney?

  • Lennon was a great songwriter bu he was such a naive asswipe: Martin Luther King,Jr ought to show him how difficult it is to achieve peace.

  • Wtf? Why is everyone talking about Yoko? Were freaking talking about John! Respect both of em!! It's his dang wife people!! So shut the fuck up and listen to the damn song more then Yoko!!!! Wf people?!!!

  • @Mychannel1314 She's always there, always got some comment to make as though she's some celebrated recording artist or producer. Very annoying.

  • @dutchgoing And what and who the fuck are you/talking about?

  • @Mychannel1314 His fucking talentless wife. Have a nice day.

  • @dutchgoing Yeah? Well good cause fuck you and have a horrible day. Go to hell too.

  • lmaoo whys yoko telling john how to write music johns a legend jeanouse song writer yokos a daft chink lmaooo

  • @steven3662 Yoko co-wrote Imagine. John said that in 1980 and that he didn't give her credit because he had too big of an ego back then. She co-wrote the lyrics and melody with John. She did the same with Oh My Love (with that song, she does get credit on the album).

Also, Yoko is a better piano player than John ever was. She's a classicaly trained pianist and can play Bach, Mozart, Beehtoven, and such.

Get your facts straight before making such comments.

  • "that's a nice one..."

yeah, dude. it's a nice one.

  • He wouldn't have had these recording issues if he had The Beatles with him and George Martin, but still, it ended perfectly.

  • Interesting how when Yoko speaks, both John and Phil turn around right away 3:30

  • que marca es el piano de john lennon? alguien sabe?

  • when we see yoko sugesting things about the music of john and about how to record and etc.we get mad, cause she seems to be a very annoying mrs. know everything and just dont understand a thing about music, mainly next to him, but. he always seems to be very respective about her opinions cause maybe she was very respective about his opinions in her work as performer artist and whatever. i think all the hate about her is just a misunderstood media and tabloids made at the time and i dont like her

  • @matheusdoria get yr vagina checked , why the hell some bitch should express an opinion on recording , that's lennon , just shut up and listen . obnoxious bitch

  • let chapmen burn in hell!!!!!!!!!

  • whats wrong with the yoko girl, i dont get it? xD

  • WHY DID IT STOP???

  • why the fuck is Yoko offering an opinion on production? what did she ever produce but yowling shite?

  • I know he loved her and all that, and she didn't split up the Beatles, but I still really dislike her based on every single interview she's ever done, all the candid footage like this and everything I've ever heard about her.

    She's repugnant.

  • At last at 5:17 John tells Yoko to go out the back and listen, she knows naff all about production. Probably trying a claim a writing credit and the royalties that go with it.

    Talentless witch.

  • Thank you so much for this video

  • What's with John's shirt? xD

  • Fuck Yoko!

  • Yoko, what a F**K do you do in the studio. Go home and let the people that knows what thay do do their job.

  • yoko, why dont you go in there and listen instead of being in here?

  • @backtothebeat001 Yoko, why didn't you go in there and listen instead of being here, always?

  • John Lennon, a great tragic hero of our generation, the voice of modern music.

He is one of my most dominant influences.

I've made a tribute song for him; well, a song tribute not just for him but for great artists from classical to modern. It's called "The broken and the beautiful"

I believe Lennon and beatles fans gotta hear this. :)

jus serch for darcon81 or on the video response here.

    Salute to mr. Lennon!

  • nice video!! che,. pleas coment in my videos..

  • Great posting Rod 5*****

  • Thanks dear friend!

  • wow - I just got back from a demo session tonight - and this video is an encouragement to me since I didn't know that greats like John Lennon went through the same phases the rest of us do when making a recording!!!! Thanks for posting! This is GREAT!!!!! 5*****

    Love,

    Di

  • This song to me was the apology for John's remark about Jesus. And the lyrics really say a lot. It should have been a # one hit song on the billboard charts, Thanks for sharing this studio sessions song. Jimmy

  • Isn't it anti-religious?

    "And no religion too."

  • @Anything2DoWithFilm I remember the trouble he created when he made those remarks, radio stations and religious groups got their excuse to knock him and rock and roll. But in my reply I said that was my opinion, it may seem anti religion but it's meaning is so meangingful. I truly feel he made up for that stupid comment in my heart! Lennon was a supporter of ending that war, Vietnam, and did other humanitarian efforts so he was a good man with a good heart after all is said and done!,

  • @Anything2DoWithFilm

"If you can imagine a world at peace, with no denominations of religion—not without religion, but without this 'my God is bigger than your God' thing—then it can be true." - John Lennon. That was Lennon's explanation when he was asked that very question.

  • @Anything2DoWithFilm you could call it what you will. The point of the matter is with 'religion' we have separated ourselves form one another. Even though each and every one of them instill the same values and beliefs on principle, yet because they each want to say "I'm right and everyone else is wrong" we get that separation. Without a I'm better than you mind set we can all live in peace and harmony. He's not telling you to "not believe in your creator" he's saying why label it and separate?

  • Yes! Great footage!!!

    Love it!

  • Making of Imagine 5/5 ★s

  • A genius,he was

  • Lovely footage :)
