  • its good, but i don't like the way its changed the 'youuur number' bit

  • I sore this in London, i loved it!!!

  • You were really good! Also, you did the accent pretty well, it annoys me when the people in it spoke with a south England accent.

  • @Hannrenn It was set in south england.

  • @XxXTheDoctorXxX

    Uhm...

    No it's not.

     It's set in Liverpool.

  • okay wel ty you you sing really great too thats why i thoug

By the way I like your Home page....Looks Great !!!!

    Cheers.....Terry

  • i went to see it there 3 weeks ago his name was philip stewart :)

  • @mirry1994 I've saw it at the phoenix theatre in london last year(2009), too! what a coincidence!

'as constant as the changing weather, never sure, whos at the door, or the price ill have to pay; PLEASE

  • That song is called, Easy Terms

  • i dont see the big deal about "the devil's got your number"

    i have his number 666!

  • The narrator is such a good role! I just got cast as the least! I'll be playing Mrs. Johnstone! XD Great job by the way!!!!

  • i saw this in London last week. Amazing

  • I'm going to be playing this role in a amateur production soon, I'm 13. Any Advice?

  • Big loud voice, power of the stage, best of luck to you.

  • Your character already knows what's going to happen, so he's a bit distant. He's only watching them really, not interacting. You've got to be very commanding. I'm sure you'll be great. Break a leg!

  • I saw this in London.

  • What do you mean, 'played by me'? Was this at the Phoenix? Are you Philip Stewart?

If you are, your performance was amazing. You were by far the best actor there... and such a good singing voice!

  • No, I'm Terry Stewart and this was performed in an amateur production in Australia.

Maybe Phillip is a distant cousin....lol

  • Lol, it's quite a coincidence that two people who have the same role in a fairly small scale musical share a surname...

I thought Terry might have been a nickname or something, even though it's completely different to Philip!

Oh well. Nonetheless, you were fantastic in this video, regardless of who you are. You sound just like Philip... xx

  • was this the one put on at the zenith theatre in chatswood sydney?

    xx

  • No... this was on at Spotlight Theatre on the Gold Coast.

  • I ddnt know they had a zenith in sydney.....? xxx

  • was this the one played in lodon 09?? if it was your actually amazing!! you had us all singing this song for like weeks:)

    xxx

  • i went to pheonix to see this amazing performance, with my school, they were all amazing,

  • I went to a production at the Phoenix, they had a guy called Craig Price playing the narrator- He was mindblowingly good. I can't remember the date. I know it was early summer 08. But that was a magical performence. All the cast were on top form. This is also such a good song. Love it!!!

  • i went to c the one u saw, we went on a skl trip, craig price was well gd

  • Went to watch Blood brother last night for the second time took me mate. She was sceptical, but she loved it and she loved it this song and the Narrator and well done you..brilliant singing :D

  • Brilliant went to see it a few weeks ago this is my favourite song out of them all

  • Best song!! well the only one i liked

Narrator was the best actor at the phenix theatre!!!!

  • In all the musicals I have seen this is firmly in my top 3. Ever since I first heard this song at the theatre I fell in love with it. It's so catchy and different to other songs in the musical

  • I went to watch this last month on the 30th in the Phoenix theatre in London it was amazing i went with my school, im really interested in theatre and performing , this was the best song i thought. the Narrator gave me goose pimples every time he sang it was just awesome i couldnt stop smiling my friends thought i was mad :L:L

  • I went to the musical last wednesday in the Phoenix theatre in London, I really liked the peace, and thats my favourite song in this musical ^^

  • lol i went to it on a tuesday the guy sang it soo well =D

  • yeah, it is xD

  • I went there last wednesday evening at the same theatre as you! This song is definitely my favourite. Also, has anyone else noticed how similar the narrator is to gman from the half-life series?

  • i thought id seen im before

  • I went on Saturday! It was amazing! I love this song too :)

  • went to see this a couple of years ago when i was doing my drama GCSE, so i guess it was you in it, thought it was quality, the only musical ive seen that i would definatly go and see again , i think this song must have been my favourite part, this song would make a great epic classic rock anthem :D

  • i no ennit iwhen i went 2 watch it i loved the narrator in it

  • i gotta admit, ur a really good singer. the narrators my favourite character. well done

  • i hated the play :S for some reason none of the songs gelled with me apart from this one

    well done my man

  • I went to see blood brothers its soooo amazing!

you did a really good job well done :D love it

  • blood brothers is so bloody brilliant, and this song just gave me chills =]

would definatly love to see it again with m y drama class

  • Ahh Chills everytime (:

  • I saw this with my school in March 2009, who was the narrator?

  • Where did you see it at?

  • I love it how the narrator is always watching over the everything in the play.

  • saw this on tuesday going agian 12 march my brother plays eddie in the west end lol x

  • i went to watch blood brothers 2daii the phoenix theatre. was that your brother playing eddie?

  • yeahhh it was did u get any video's i went aswell

  • erm nah i didnt lol. great show though =]

  • gotta love this song. i know it word for word!

  • The narrator is the Devil simple as

  • Yes, definately.

In my high school's production, I'm understudying for Mrs. Johnstone, and yesterday I had to fill in. When the guy playing the narrator was singing this song "to me" I was so creeped out.

  • wow, I've always liked the narrator as a character because he seems rther dark. You did a good job of this song, but I must say it looks better when the narrator actually sings it to Mrs Johnson which I've seen done in a few productions

  • I went to see the one with Keith Burns in I think and he was amazing, but your are also very good :D

  • oh my God!.! i loved blood brothers! that was the best performance I ever seen! love it!!!!!

  • I Love This Song So Much! I Saw Blood Brothers On The 11th Of Decemeber- And This Is My Faveourite Song!! I Love It So Much!!

  • I saw Blood Brothers yesterday at the Phoenix Theatre. We as an audience go on such an emotional journey. Jody Tranter who played Eddie was amzing in his first West End debut along with Niki Evans playing Mrs Johnstone. The show was fantastic!

  • saw it at the phoenix yesterday and i hav 2 admit it was amazin :D

  • saw this yesterday.

this song is stuck in my head.

    i love it =) x

  • has anyone got a video of Keith Burns singing "shoe upon the table"?

  • Amazing.x

You Have something to be Proud of.x

  • where can i downloads the keith burns version

  • i love this musical and this number, and this version;)

but i always thought the narrator must be the most dull role to play... you only get one song, and you just have to stand there for the whole thing, watching everyone else! must be raaaaather tedious..

    but brilliant song anyhow;)

  • Yay, you did this song justice :)

    Claps :)

  • Ha this is one of my fave songs in the play.

I saw it twice.. when Anthony Costa was playing Mickey!! He's such a great actor/singer..

I think Steven Houghton was the Narrator in the one I saw.. he was fab.

  • No, Steven Houghton was terrible. lol.

I recommend Keith Burns, *THE* definitive Narrator, or failing that Craig Price in the West End currently. But avoid the West End production full stop.. the tour is far superior in every respect! :-)

  • nice!

    THIS SONG IS SO CATCHY

i've been singing it for ages

    good job as the narrator

  • I don't think I've ever met someone who's seen this musical and hated it!

  • I Saw This Last Night Its Was Amazing... My Fave Musical Now Lol

    xxx

  • On Thursday?

  • Went to see it last night! The best musical I've ever saw in terms of storyline, it was so emotional! I was crying at the end!

The music isn't as good as some other musicals I've seen, however I love the narrator singing! It's the best song I think in Blood Brothers, although Maralyn Munroe comes a very close second!

  • i read the play in my drama class and listened to the soundtrack as we went along, love this sing probably the most!

  • Same, instead of singing my teacher played the music, so we picked off where the music left off

  • the musical (L) but the may-narrator was much better. you had to sing YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUR number .. at one high and very strong. and not YOUUour the our didnt had to be so weak. and dOOoor is also bad.

  • i agree ... the narrator yesterday was really good ! this one flaws on a few notes.

  • i watched this on tuesday, it's quality.

  • i saw this on thursday and it was amazing x i cried at the end x

  • Does anyone know where to find videos of the new 2008 production ?

  • i saw this today it's well good

  • love this song, great performance!

  • i love this musical it mazin i saw it yesterday fri 6th june it was brill i love your this song and craig price

  • this is amazing!! And the best musical ever :D Seen it 10 times... and gunna keep seeing it!!

  • i saw this yesturday and loved it

now i have 2 favourite musicals- wicked and blood brothers (:

  • best musical ever, and sad

  • now i have 2 favourite musicals! i was always addemant my favourite muscial was chicago but now I love this too! they are very different :P

  • wow, ur a really gd singer, u did this song well!

  • brilliant video. i went to see is with my school a couple of weeks ago and i want to go back. it was brilliant.how did you get into something like that because i would love to do that. i love acting

  • do you still work as the narrotor of blood brothers now? your brilliant

  • No...This was only on at our local theatre for about 4 weeks.Mind you I wouldn't mind doing the part of narrator again sometime. Maybe in a professional production.I enjoyed the role.

  • Wow you were a really good narrator! I went to see this a couple of months ago at the pheonix theatre and I loved it so much :) x

  • me to lol. I saw the ambassador theatre group

  • wow your really good! do you have the soundtrack?

  • Thanks for the kind comments...

I don't have a soundtrack as this was only a Amateur production at our local theatre.

  • Wow, you played the narrator really well! I went to see blood brothers in the pheonix theatre a few weeks ago, and i think you are the best narrator out of the two

  • You did an awesome job as Narrator. You know what I don't get though? I've looked at alot of these vids, and the sets aren't exactly original. they are basicly the same as the west end version. I'd like to see a version where the set is just a bit different

  • I thought that was rli good, why are ppl so critical? Good job as narrator!!

  • Well i personally think as well that the narrator could have been at least a little bit more emotional to suit the music even more after all the story is quite tragic and dismal at this point so it could have been better but the video and play overall are brilliant.

  • What do you him to do,start crying? he is ment to be a narrator i think it was perfect... sounds like the original Good job =]

  • this was in empire i was there yay

  • ive seen this in london antony from blue was in it :D

  • yeh and he was awful!! lol

  • Bravo Heyhihoha !!!!! Well said. So many people who love to just put down everyone else's video's just to be nasty and cruel.

    Pathetic Creatures.

  • Alex8293...Another armchair critic who wouldn't know shit from clay. I love the way these people get on to youtube and just rubbish everybody's video's. The ironic thing is you check on their contribution and find out they haven't uploaded anything themselves !!!SURPRISE SURPRISE !!!

  • Thanks heyhihoha ...Your spot on with your comments.lol

  • this is the worst narrator i agree shut up heyhihoha. they are normally very strong voiced he is awfull. no arguement it is fact.

  • You wouldn't know shit shortstuffblonde !!! The guy playing the narrator in my opinion is fabulous. I've seen this show many times and this version is one of the best I have seen ,you don't need to portray the role as some menacing dude, he does it the way it should be done.

  • Whatever! That is my opinion and I am entitled to have one. As for my private message of "Get a life" from you, I have thanks and a brilliant one it is too! Thanks for enquiring! Enjoy!

  • Sorry, thought this was awful. I have seen Blood Brothers many times and it is the BEST musical I have seen. I think this is the worst Narrator I have heard The Narrators I saw were extremely menacing with very powerful voices which matched their stage presence.

  • I thought this was terrible too, sorry, ive seen many narrators, and wont go into favourite narrators as that opens different war zones from past experience.

  • Blood Brothers was an awesome musical!! I would go and see it again!!!

  • Joe, I beleive you went the same day as me!! wooo

  • youve got quite a god strong voice the narrator is a very hard part you need it really powerful amd youve pulled it off pretty well wel duhn xx

  • I was in the touring cast for 2006 the uk cast and played eddie i really enjoyed it and the advice i would give to anyone if they want to become an actor

you can do it never tell yourself that you cant

    and set your goals high

  • well done that was good! :)

  • I saw this a week ago. Oh my gosh, it was amazing. One of the best things i have ever seen.

  • Was Anthony Costa from Blue playing Eddie? I saw it on Wednesday, the narrator was amazing.

  • I don't know, my friends thought so. If it was he was fantastic! The narrator was such a silver fox!

  • I watching that version, in woking :) Although he has moobs, hes one sexy man :)

    I enjoyed it

  • I saw Blood Brothers at the Phoenix Theatre in London on 15th Nov. It was absoloutely amazing.

Its was one of the best musicals i have seen!!!

  • That's you? I'm impressed. Even as a girl, the Narrator is one of my dream roles (though I'd love to play Mrs J or Linda too) - you have an amazing voice - this is a lot better than most of the school/society production videos on youtube.

  • I usually HATE musicals but this is truly great I strongly recommend you get the soundtrack

  • Did you go see it on thursday too? I saw it with my school, I had a seat right infront of the stage!!!

  • I Saw it on Thursday i was sitting at B15

  • A9, I wanted to reach out and touch the actors but that would have screwed up the performance and I would have been thrown out, BUT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN WORTH IT!!!!!!!!! lol If you were in row B in the stalls, did you go with Vyners school?

  • Holloway secondary i got mickeys autograph after the show.

  • It was so funny! We were walking back to our bus, and we saw the guy who played Mickey so all the girls jumped on him! But then the woman who played Mrs Johnstone walked past and nobody noticed her! It was so mean!

  • I saw this musical wid my skool, i love it so much and wanna be a part in it!

  • I'm going to see it in a week, but I just read the script tonight. Is it THAT good?

  • Is the best musical ever!!! Its very emotional so beware

  • Yeah, that's what my sister said when she saw it. She and her friends screamed when they got shot!

  • I jumped out my seat but thts the fun of it!

  • lol YAY!!!!! I can't wait until thursday!!!!!!

  • I wanna go thursday aswell

  • You'd have to join my school then lol

  • I wish i could!! Lol but i'm goin to c stomp in November

  • I don't really like the looks of that. I like plotlines. But I get to see Avenue Q december 1st!

  • I SAW IT!!!!!! IT WAS SOOOOOO GOOD!!!!! But I didn't like the beginning very much..... I don't think they should tell you the brothers are dead until they actually die. That way it would be so much more dramatic. But still- IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS I'VE EVER SEEN!!!!!!!!!!

  • the reason they show the deaths is because they want to make u think wot could have happened to thm to have made thm dead and to wonder who they r! Did u c it in the phoniex theatre?? And r u doin ur english lit exam this yr??

  • i just saw this in london with my school twas good yay st als and the scary shushy man with the finger!
