Consistent drug use, ignoring bills are signs of mental illness. Gil needed to talk about his inner demons and perhaps get counseling. He gave up after his marriage to Brenda Sykes fell apart. I knew that would be it for Gil after the loving. If he had a father, he might not of fell so hard.
