  • cool

  • i have seen a chik hatch thats so cute ur lucky

  • Your it's mamma now forever

  • 8 people don't have a chick ^^

  • Hatching does NOT look fun!:)

  • The Chicken comes out from the Egg first or The Egg comes out of the Chicken first?

  • what do they eat when they are little?

  • @MrTuffgongrecords

You can see what we do to feed and care for the new chicks in our video "Brood of Chicks or Baby Chickens" on this channel....

  • Aww it makes you want to help the little guy out. He's so cute ^^

  • it is so cuteeeee

  • awwwwwwwwww

  • When we hatched our chickens, we got told from internet and stuff not to help in the process, there was one bird which starting tweeting first, then it couldn't break the egg open, because i got told not to help with this, it didn't hatch. . .all it wouldn't have taken is 2 mins with something like a knife or something to pop a air hole in or something, but i got told not to do anything, the chicken didn't make it. . .: /

  • @nazzarran I understand how you feel. Witnessing the harsh reality of natural selection invokes your emotions and insticts to help nurture life. That's what makes us human and unique in the natural order of life. Don't beat yourself up. The chick was probably malformed and would not have lived even had it hatched. Keep in mind when you invest yourself in nuturing life there are going to be times when you feel helpless and will experience pain as well as JOY and satisfaction. That's life.

  • @GloVermont2 Yeah well this was a while back lol, we actually hatched 22 chickens. But we gave 19 away and kept 3, one died due to being egg bound, and the other 2 are nice and healthy, although one of them attacks me in every way possible whenever i go near it, and the other is quite content and adventuress.! :)

  • PANCIC MODE LOL

  • soo cute and kewl

  • how did i get here from robots?

  • It is drunk 🍺

  • that so cute i did that when i was a little farmer at mexico

  • Damn nature you scary

  • when i used to b in yr 2 they brang in chicks for us to look after them and we saw then haching and they became fluffy and cute!

  • i think his BUTT was stuck

  • 1:11 AWWWWWWWWW its out and it hasnt opend its eyes it tired i remember when i had these in my school i saw it hatching and it was so tired

  • aw omg its so cute:) i love chickens and i cant beleive there was a time i would eat something as adorable an innocent as chickens!good video:)

  • when will they become yellow little chicks ??

    they arethe cutest then :)

  • aww.. its getting soo tired trying to get outa the egg.. poor thing..

  • *Silence...* MEEP!

  • Hatching is a really challenging process for chicks. They are supposed to hatch on their own and punch through the shell with their beak. It's really hard to do for them.

  • Store Eggs won't hatch. You can buy fertilized eggs on eBay though

  • where did you get the eggs

  • hhh

  • That was great!! I can't wait until by chicks get here I still have about 14 more days before they hatch it seems like forever:-(

  • wats the o and x for

  • with the shell on its back...newborn mutant ninja chicken!

  • this is funny

  • Where is her mother? this is not a heartwarming video if their is no mother to care for the baby.

  • awwwwwwwwwww

  • i was like dude help the poor chicken help him!!

  • They're so cute but excuse me im going to eat my egg now

  • I AM NEVER EATING ANOTHER EGG AGAIN.

  • She was making noise and chirps! She wanted everyone to know she was there!! LOL and that she wanted that shell off of her! :)

  • You can tell it was a struggle for her. She was probably tired as heck after she was done! hehe

  • GIT THAT ******* CAMRA AWAY FROM ME IM TRYING TO SLEEP! >.<

  • I like chicks I used to collect them from the science center's incubators after they hatch and bring them home to rear lol

  • It's a velociraptor

  • @brender1976 You are correct. There is an imbilical cord with vital nutrients still attached that if prematurely disengaged from the chick causes harm.

  • after they hatch do u still leave them in incubator

  • @FuntomArtist666 Just long enough for them to dry and fluff up. Then we transfer them to a box with an infrared heat lamp and wood shavings in the bottom, a folded newspaper to put the chick feed onto, and a little smooth rimmed can no more than 2 inches high for water.

We raise them for about three weeks this way then set put them into a pen outside seperate from the grown chickens for another month or so before setting them loose in the yard.

  • @GloVermont2 Im using a egg turner do i take them out of it 3 days before they hatch

  • @GloVermont2 hehe. fluff up

  • aaaawwwwwwwwwwwww!! thats a cute little fella!!

  • i was about to ask you why you didn't help the poor chick but there was an annotation that said that helping might hurt the chick or deprive of it it's last nutrients from the embryl that's in the egg.

  • sobhan Allah....

  • welcome to earth little dudes!

  • @TheDogod Soon they will meet my tummy im letting them get fat >:)

  • watch madzrandomz vids they are so cute!!!!

  • it is so cute

  • Do the "X's" on the eggs mean that they won't hatch?

  • @HarukishiAzami1 The "X" is on one side - an "O" on the opposite side. It helps to indentify the correct side of the egg when you turn the eggs every 8 hours.

  • @GloVermont2 Oh! The baby chick is so adorable!

  • how do you make these? I mean like do you just put in a regular egg or is there a particular egg for it : D sorry im asking something dumb but i want to know

  • @Mimiopampam Fetilized eggs are needed. A rooster fertilizes hens eggs.

  • Marinaforeva u candlelight it and u just put all of the eggs in there anyways until it's time to hatch

  • At the end it just curled up in to a ball

  • @linarahmany It's exhausted....you see how cute they are when they dry and fluff up. Then they get real active in spurts. They'll run about and then just sort of suddenly fall asleep for a minute then wake and play and fall asleep again, and so on.

  • @GloVermont2 dude is the rooster needed for reproduction???plzzz reply...

  • Aww.... So cute!

  • alien thing!!!

  • If I met that thing it would be me and a bottle of barbecue sauce

  • It's like it's saying "Screw this, I'm breaking out of this popscicle stand!"

  • So did you eat it afterwards?

  • Watch how it kicks the neighboring egg away at 1:20.

  • how do u know if the egg is fertilized?

  • i have an incubator like urs but i got the turner also, but im not doing good , my 1st time i got 8/16 and my 2nd only 4/16 i have dark cornish bantams, some people told me they only need 20 days to hatch is that true and it says to take them out of the turner 3 days prior to hatching would that be the 18th day or 19th ive been doing the 18th day and my temp they said should be 99.5 and i keep the water in the trenches also like it says., i feel like im killing them with kindness...please help

  • i just got me an incubator like yours but i even got the turner, i hold the eggs in the frige for 7 days and put them in there , i have Dark cornish bantams, but im not doing good i only got 4 out of 16 the 2nd time ,the 1st time i got 8/16 it says to take them out of the turner 3 days prior to hatching so ive been takin them out on the 18th day .some people say they only need 20 days and if thats the case then i should take them out on the17 day right i feel like im killing them with kindness

  • "Come on little one. Push. Push!"

  • @MarineroPL Jurassic Park reference?

  • awww adorable! Lmao the last part was funny! It flipped xD

  • hi my name is chris and i have a question. my bird is a female and she hasnt mated but she laid an egg . she takes care of the egg and stuff she warms it most of the day but will the egg hatch? i ask this because people are saying something about fertilized please answer. Urgent plz thumbs up if you care about a bird starting a new life

  • Hi ChrisDiaz83 - The egg can only be fertile if a rooster mates with the hen before she lays her egg.

  • @GloVermont2 ok but my bird sits and warms the egg so even if it isnt fertile will it hatch?

  • @GloVermont2 No an unfertilized egg won't hatch. It will go bad and smell nasty if broken.

  • @chrisdiaz83 it has to be fertalized from a rooster to hatch

  • @chrisdiaz83 Hens need a rooster to have an egg with a baby in it. Its not going to hatch. This is what I was told, atleast.

  • 2 out of 114 people have no heart.

  • ths is the best video on utube! thanks alot!

  • Can U just stop recording me and help me out of this stupid shell!!!!!

  • That egg.... IS MY BREAKFAST!

  • aww

  • 0:43 ....Looks Like Bigfoots Baby XD

  • never break the chicken egg, if it is strong enough to survive it will break the egg, if it is not it won't

  • U shuld break the egg for them

  • @waz165 they could but it would affect the chicks skills in problem solving/ just plain out breaking crietains iteams.

  • We have baby chickens and i cant wait til this is happening in our home :}

  • Jurassic park

  • Just wondering if you have any advice on how to integrate/introduce 10 new chicks to an existing flock of 16 hens and 1 rooster. They are due to hatch June 1st.

  • I built a seperate mobile pen with 2x4's fours and chicken wire and handles for moving. It's about 10x10 and 4 ft high. We do this to give the baby chicks a headstart for just about two weeks so the chicks are strong enough to deal with establishing their place in the pecking order. Then we integrate them. Then we observe to try to indentify any new roosters to be culled first. It's imortant to know that about 12 hens per rooster is a good balance.

  • once my uncle bought 2 eggs home and i told my mother to boil me 1...when my mother broke the egg there was a chick in it thank god my mother has soft hands so she didnt break the egg real hard, therefore the chick was living.later i gave it to my cousin...

    End Of Story

  • Is the lid supposed to be open when the chicks are hatching? Thanks!

  • It's ok to open the lid while a chick is hatching. Of course several more are still to hatch. So we close the lid after just a few minutes so we can keep the environment variables safe for the remaining chicks to hatch.

  • @GloVermont2 Ok great thanks!

  • [the chick looks weak]. and what do they eat (chick boosters, rice, corn?) please reply if you reply i will subscribe please !!!!

  • You're right the chick is tired and vunerable because the chick has to struggle for about 36 hours during the hatching process.

We feed them "starter mash" and spring water for about 1 week. Then we bring them outside were they begin their pasture raised diet supplemented with fresh spring water each day.

  • @GloVermont2 thank you for the tips please make another video about a chick hatching. now i will sub scribe . by the way your chick is so cute :)

  • WOAH THIS IS AMAZAING

  • Awwww wonderful vid. My two doves are currently incubating an egg and it's due at the end of the month. I can't wait. This will be their 3rd chick and every time it happens I'm still in a world of amazement.

  • i think its so cool that at the end the chick curled back up into the shape of the egg

  • What despicible, mean, selfish, igraent person could dislike new life?!?!?!?!!D:<

  • What person could dislike this video?!?

  • If you help a chick you are pulling off the shell that can rip him up.

  • The miracle of life how awsome, remember to never help them out life popped up in the video clip, youn will do them more harm than good.

  • What would happen if the chick can't get the shell off? like say if its foot is stuck or something..also, after it hatches, i noticed how it was still curled up and all. what happens afterwards? does it just stand normally or do you have to give it like a special batch of food or something (to make stronger maybe)?

  • If you are sure the part of the shell attached to the chicks imbilical cord is naturally shed then you could help if an unusual situation exists. After it hatches it needs to be in a dry warm area. The chick dry's and then fluffs up. The first day or so it is adorable because the natching is so exhaustng that the chicks will be very active for a bit and then almost suddenly fall asleep on the spot....then wake and act...sleep...wake....you get the idea.

  • @chiwassu19 i don't know 100% about the first one but i know about the others, after it hatches it lays there for a short amount of time then as it's instinct tells it it starts trying to get up and move around but its tough for them because they're tired after hatching but eventually they are able to stop falling over and actually stand, and I'm pretty sure there's no special food.

  • Keep pressing 8... aww. But you will lol :P

  • click 9 to see fail

  • is the egg from supermarket/(LOL)

  • i love whenthey hatch

  • We are setting about 40 in the bator this weekend, hoping for many hens. It is such a precious thing and my kids are always in awe of it.

  • omg, all i hear in my classroom is chirping and it is annoying

  • umm yummy after they hatch put it into a pan and fried it

  • Ahhh yes..I miss my babies chickens! They grow up so fast! TT^TT

    us i have one

  • hi am 8 and i need help how ot take care of a egg kus i have one

  • Just curious, It said NEVER help a chick hatch, so why did you help remove the shell?

  • @LadyNightstalker666

He removed a piece of shell from it's back. He didn't actually help it out of it's egg.

  • Good observation and question! That's how I learned not to help the chick! I made a mistake. Because I "helped" the chick, it is smaller than the others. That is also why I published the notation in the video.

  • @GloVermont2 so you were telling us not to make the same mistake

  • @LadyNightstalker666 no need to get your panties in a bunch. the chick was already out, the shell was just sitting on its back at that point. you can obviously tell he didn't help it out of it's shell.

  • thats adorable!!! :]

  • Chick: Im out!

Chick: Ah Fuck Humans! SPAZ ATTACK

    EHHH AHH LE PEEP

  • i had this guys brother for breakfast

  • what does X and O mean?

  • @LoveJBE The X and O's are what I use to mark each side of the egg so when I turn them I knw which side of the egg facing up. The eggs are turned every 8 hours or so. If the eggs are all X's up I know to turn them all so that the O's now are up and so on.

  • @GloVermont2 Ok i get it

  • I want to raise a chicken all the way through too!! :)

  • omg sooo cute

  • im getting a chick but i dont know how to raze it help plz!

  • lol i played this when my cat was beside me she was crazy and runned around hahahahahah

  • ok sorry do you have any tips on how to hatch chicks

  • THAT BABY CHICK IS NEW BORN AND YOUR OPENING THE LID HE CAN FREEZE!!!!!!!!! >:(

  • @100123belle Belle that's amusing. The little chick could not freeze because we love those little chicks and would never let such a thing happen. Besides it was April or May and plenty warm out.

  • @GloVermont2 oh sorry I just really like animals and do u have any tips on how to hatch a chick cuz im gunna be hatching 3

  • @GloVermont2 they just hatched and the lid is open they wouldnt freeze but would get really cold and die but sorry for being noisy im just a animal lover freak and do u have any tips on hatching chicks cuz im gunna be hatching chicks and i dont want them to die

  • i have some question my chicken are laying every day do they need a male chicken with the female for a chick to hatch .and do you need to put the eggs in an incubator for it to hatch and how long does it take to hatch? pleas answer these questions

  • @nastygeezer The male chicken or rooster is needed to fertilize the eggs. Then the eggs need to be incubated. It takes approximately 21 days to hatch.

  • chickens are so cool i have 5 hens and 1 roster and 2 chicks

also i had 2 little ducks and a chick which they al died

  • so does this mean its too late to make an omelet?

  • @makeuplover328 its never too late to make an omelet.

  • where is this chicken at present

  • Did the last one got hurt? :( I almost cryed :(

  • Awww.... poor little guy was having a hard time getting out. So adorable...

  • u can do it! there u go..

  • they're really not cute when they're born but then they r sooooooo adorable and then they get ugly when they become a chiken

  • cute is he\she still alive

  • i'll never have eggs for breakfast ever again=(...is this what the yolk will be if we dont eat them?

  • @kpacman6

No... eggs sold for food aren't fertilized, meaning that there is no chick. The yolk is used to feed chick while it is in the egg.

  • not a very good place for them to hatch...the bars are not good for there feet

  • Actually the mesh floor is perfect. All the yucky fluids that foster bacteria and unsanitary conditions flows through so the chicks don't get all dirty when they are hatching. They only stay in the incubator until they are nice and fluffed up and dry. Then we transfer them to the heated brood box to care for them.

  • lol porr chick cant get shell of back lol ^_^
