  • hi

build a brac.ket at the bottom of that vertical chimney or it will sag

  • @beachfiredude ....That will never get a chance to sag...This salt air will disintegrate that outdoor pipe in less than 6 months....By spring i won't need it anymore... But thanks for your comment !

  • why is blood runing out of your stove pipe chiminie

  • @firewoodguy2009 ...Must be just the green lumber scaps i was burning.

  • lets see you fire up the barrel wood stove

  • Be careful using galvanized pipe for the vent indoors. There are many poisonous gasses that come off that stuff. Not too big a problem with that big hole in the wall. Plenty of ventalation.

  • I see an old propane tank replacing the barrel soon, as the heater. Cast iron works best, though..

The cymbal as a guard? Brilliant! I hope it wasn't a Zyldian though. Even if it was, nice work.

    Keep the updates comin' Capt.

  • You should get a heat powered wood stove fan, it will really warm up the shop quickly!

  • @Gilldabeast ....I agree...An electric one works pretty good !

  • That looks like it'll work just fine.

  • @RamblinAround ...Not according to some of the comments i have been getting over it !....LOL

  • Not legal. Don't use it.

  • @Kanuckbrewer ....There are no codes here...But i do agree with some of the comments and its something not to leave unattended....

  • that stoves the cats ass.

  • @marcelstjean ....She pumps out the heat for sure !

  • You wont need to clean that pipe it will rot away before you'll ever plug it up, i have the same pipe here in alabama and it lasted 1 year..

  • @ding0925 ...1 year is all i need...i'll build a chimney in the spring..

  • i think its kinda dumb to put it on woood blocks get some concreat blocks

  • @jeremylee99100 ...The legs don't even get warm

  • We have one just like that in the Pig Barn.

  • @teeltimes .....Chimney too ?

  • Man Capt I have been waiting on this video I just love wood stoves Great job I need to take that trip up from Missouri just to stand next to it with ya some time Well with a few beers lol Good job buddy

  • @2024JayZ ...May even warm the place up if i had a door in there !

  • Hiya Captainjohn >> I been watching your Vids for a long time Just never comment >>>But I will let you know the pipe that goes outside is not CODE and you spent alot of money to lose it all..with a fire.that does not look like an insulated pipe going outside from the stove.

  • @MsUnclecrackers ....Your right it isn't insulated....this is how people rig camp stoves all the time...Even when the pipe is cherry red, the brass part hardly gets warm at all...I keep a close eye on it and when you shut all the dampers you could put your hand on it anywhere....But i agree with you and when i can afford it i will be fixing it right.

  • I love the woodstove. You did a great job with the chimney too. Nicel

  • @paperweightgirl ...I like the smell of a wood fire !

  • will the wood stand catch fire?

  • @TheJuggaloVLOGS .......Heat rises...So i doubt you could get it hot enough to burn...I keep an eye on it while its going.

  • That oughta keep ya nice and warm in the winter bud! A few drinks around that and the day is complete!

  • @mbyr31 ....Good for burning scraps and taking the chill off....I like it quite cool when i work.

  • Geez Capt.,you blew the budget so bad that you had to use drywall screws to hold the piping together ? LMFAO !

  • @wolfsheadoil1 ....Too drunk to drive to the hardware store is more like it !....Worked fine though.

  • @cisjohn2616 Ok,that's a valid enough excuse !

  • @GerbenZ95.... Thanks

  • You'll be replacing the galvanized pipe sections next year.. They won't hold up. I have a tee at the bottom of my flue as well. Makes it lots easier to run a brush up the pipe :)

  • @dgr8zod ...I'll build a chimney for next year....Yeah these don't last long.

  • great lookin' Heater Buddy!! fits right in with the motif!!☺

  • @805ROADKING ...They pump out the heat for sure !

  • Now you need a door, looks great.

  • @VoVaKissCam ...It's ordered !

  • Cool idea, see what for you can use those barrels, heat inside is good in these days wile it is cold outside. Good job

  • @MagicCadillac ....You have to put sand in the bottoms to keep them from burning out !

  • that looks great...your workshop's gonna have a lot of character (I guess it will fit in)

  • @FromUnderTheRock ....You know it !

  • Love it!

  • @Guywithcrazyideas ...Thanks for watchin'
