is it me or are the keys backwards on your piano?

The bass keys are being play on the high octave and the melody on the low octave... (confused)

Either way you did a nice job. The recording is nice...the only thing throwing me off is the dialect. Maybe work on your English dialect a little better (just constructive criticism :)). I think the piano cover is perfect and your pitch is great. Well done.

hey ... great job playing...i lurrrrrve this song...i was justt wOndering what key you're playing this in and did u work out the notes yourself, because i have a version in c major and i cant seem to work out the middle bit...the part after "i am..." .. but newaiiz GREAT JOB!

Thanx Peachnj. Actually, I'm playing by ear so I worked out the notes. Concerning the chorus I'm hitting : C F Bflat (right hand) and F/C (left hand)at the beginning. I guess it's not the same compared to the original but it's a cover after all ;)

In the original song the voice of the Counting Crows singer sounds a bit flat - but not yours! Do you have the sheet music or did you learn it by hearing it? I'm trying to learn this song myself so any help would be great!

I learned it by ear such as all my videos... it's thus not very accurate, but it's my own version :) This one is quite repetitive and allows to focus on the lyrics. Good luck with your learning ! It's a great song to play.

I already gave the song to my piano teacher, he's good at learning by playing and he loves this song as much as I do. So maybe in my next lesson we can work out the piano tabs (hopefully). By the way, your version is better! But I already said that ;-). You sound quite hurt and vulnerable when you are singing this.
