@ej15dude The headphones are designed to enhance gaming by providing the player with immersive sound quality and eliminating outside noises. I don't think a little Bluetooth can do that! Also, the Bluetooth is designed for chatting only where as the headset was engineered for communicating AND listening to the game. That's why we won't buy a Bluetooth instead of a headset. :)

If you want an awesome headset and not spend much money that has TRUE 5.1 surround AND can be used on any platform then check out the Sharkoon xtatic digital. I just got them and honestly one of the best headsets I own. Personally I like my plantronics gamecom with 7.1 surround the best but a close second is the Sharkoons

If you like the Astro mixamp for style and sound INFECTED audio headsets can't be beat. Around $30 £20 won't be beaten sound wise and looks, sound better then TB's and as good as AD700's, plug straight in no splitters even good for music iPhone compatible removable mic the nuts.

I have an Objective2 headphone amp, AKG K702's, Beyerdynamic MMX300's, Beyerdynamic DT880 600ohm's and Sennheiser HD600's. I HIGHLY doubt that garbage gaming headset is "shittin" on my headsets. However, I have no doubt that your A40's are indeed the best headset you personally have used.

Well if aesthetic differences are more important then actual sound quality, A40's are the way to go. However if you want better separation, sound stage, quality and customer service then a higher up brand is exponentially better then any Astro product.

I can definitely recommend MMX-300's though, they are a huge improvement. Especially with a dedicated amp. If you are electronically savvy, I can attest to how good of a headset the K702 is with an O2 diy amp. It's the best amp i've ever had without a doubt.

@batmanrock33 depends on which ones u're talking about. i had the ax360s which are similar to the axpro's and i left those behind for the turtle beach hpa2's. MUCH better sound. but after listening to virtual barber shop, i realized that 5.1 headsets couldn't touch dolby headphone, so i got the audio technica ath ad700(which should have been on this list) and an astro mix amp.

I did have a Logitech G35 and i found them awful since the drivers to use the 7.1 surround didn't work properly and the cable becomes tangled badly over time.

The only way you can think the G930 is one of the best PC headsets is if it's the only real headset you've ever owned. It's a decent headset, but far from great, and most definitely far from the best.
