i think i read that this trick is called the Y2K Rollover... or something weird like that. anyways, if you can just watch the motions it's not too hard to figure out within like 20 min or so, perhaps a while longer to get it consistently. also props for putting some Pendulum music in here :D

They're both thumb roll overs. The former's usually called the Y2K rollover, and the latter is usually called the zen rollover. Basically, it's a vertical thumb rollover, and then a horizontal.

@descrip001 If you do it right, the only thing you cut is the asshole with the balls to insult the guy with the knife.

That said, most flippers start off with a trainer knife which is a completely dulled instrument with nothing but a curve or some other marking to indicate the sharp side of the blade. So after practicing with that about a bazilion times, you'll never cut yourself doing the same trick with a legit knife. If you have no trainer, you can just wrap the bade in scotch tape instead.
