A private pension, that I was talked into saving into, was expected to yield £100,000 when I retired. It grew, approximately, at that rate for some years till the Big Bang (Banking deregulation) happened. Since then the pension funds became a target for these thieves. Now all the money I paid into my pension fund, over the last 20 years, has virtually disappeared. All the pension companies losing out to these thieves are totally quiet about this. WHY? Are they involved in thieving pensions too?
Yes to the frickin' Tobin tax! It's the only way forward from here; but it won't happen because 99% of the world's money is controlled by 0.1% of the population, who also happen to be the ones holding world governments balls, telling them what to do.
