  • just looking back in time at some of the great old rock, and realizing just how good geoff's voice is live great performance

  • He's singing. Yeah the low/deep uber-compressed vocals are a sample, but that's a totally different thing than lip-synching. And they might use a slight track for harmonies also. It's mostly done through the keyboard. It's so common at this point. But it's not like Britney Spears.............This man can and does actually sing.

  • @liquifex you should check this song out from lockport 2011. I was there. he lip synced 2/3. And yes, it was obvious.

  • One of the best concerts i have ever seen, I saw them 2 times on this tour.

One in Baltimore Maryland, onc in Worcester, Mass.

  • this is by far the best live upload i have ever seen how did you do it? great sound and all bravo!!!

  • Mmm.... I think he's lip synching. Not good.

  • @TehPeaches hes not lip synching hes a talented dude and thats how he sounds

  • @averysdad07 He actually is "lips synching" a little if you want to pull hairs... Its a live mic, meaning that he is singing the whole time but everything that you here isnt his voice. Alot of it is his prerecorded voice piped in in 3 different keys and him singing over it to add texture. This isn't a problem as most bands do it, but if you listen to empire today, he doesn't even try to sing over his backing track a lot of times

  • @rknrll1 That's just part of the excessive demands to re-create the studio version of a song, bells, whistles and all. At some point, the audience will audience will demand truly live performances, and the performers are not going to mind at all, because they don't like the tricks either.

  • @rknrll1 i did not know that but now i do thank you for sharing this with me!

  • @TehPeaches

maybe the low pitch monster noise

  • This footage looks pretty professional. How did you do this? Great upload!

  • saw them in amarillo with suicidal tendencies before that in lubbock with metallica!!late eightys early nineties great live show.

  • I love how they do that with Geoff's voice from 2:28 - 2:45! Even though this isn't my favorite look on Geoff, it does seem like he could kick anyone's ass.

  • is geoff miming? :/

  • Not liking those tights on Geoff! But hey, cool song.

  • my favorite song by queensryche

  • Geoff Looks verry nice!

  • Great footage
