  • Sadly, the composition did very little to reflect the story that supposedly goes along with the piece; and without the commentary, I wouldn't have ever guessed this is what he intended it to represent. Nonetheless, Jacobsen owes the effective delivery of this performance ALL to Kseniya as it was she, not the music, that brought this work to life.

  • 7 ppl lost their heart

  • Amazing ...love the way she did

  • what a wonderful piece of music by Siamak Aghaei

  • @MaxSBurns music is to be heard. what's to see?

  • Quand la musique et le sable se rencontrent quel prodige.

  • 1:30

  • this is a perfect expresion of the art

  • EPIC! my favorite part

  • My favorite rendition of ascending bird ever. bravo!

  • This recording was performed by Brooklyn Riders which looks to be written by the group in association with Kayhan Kalhor who is a Persian musician master

  • That is pure Persian traditional music. the sand pictures were completely irrelevant...as long as the music has a story of a bird !

also Keyhan Kalhor performed it very nice.

  • すばらしい!!

  • Fantástico! Impressionante!

  • Absolutely lovely, between the music & the art, it was a great journey........

    Thanks for sharing

  • this is awesome

  • !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow

  • Thank you Jacobson & Siamak for this wonderful piece of music. I wish the sand painting would have depicted the story. Or may be it did, but I didn't get it!!!

  • thats persian traditional music for you

  • ★★★★★★★ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

  • It's just me or is the audio quality better than a few weeks ago?

  • @tetsugal its just you

  • looks like she's in need of a dust-buster.

  • DAMN... THATS TALENT

  • This was amazing and beautiful. The music is wonderful, and the art. Never seen anything like it!

  • the best part starts @7:04

  • This was one of my favourites... I absolutely love this. It's amazing, and just shows how beautiful music really is.

  • The awkward moment where the orchestra finishes before she does.

  • suqqqqzzzzzz asssssssssszzz

  • sucks ass and

my gramma could do this better than you

  • sucks ass

  • Amazing!!!!!!!

  • This was definitely my number one favorite performance

  • Someone clearly doesn't know the difference between a thumbs up and thumbs down. Cuz this is definitely a thumbs up.

  • access : dentao e juninho

  • i'm forced to believe that the only one or if there may be any other in the future ''Dislike(s)''.....its by mistake. lovely works.

  • Bravo!!!!! Enchanting from start to finish!!!!!

  • my favorite part is 1:52. so epic the way all the strings come together like that. the sand was awesome too!

  • Superbe!

  • This is just amazing, I'm so glad I watched it.

  • Is there a proper recording of this piece anywhere? iTunes? It's amazing!

  • btw, i wonder who wrote this music. Have never heard before and fallen in love with it just at single appreciation!

  • @neoworker10 I believe it was the man in the red shirt playing the violin. He at least co-composed it.

  • @neoworker10 it`s originally an iranian folk music and re-arranged by Siamak Aghaie

  • Just fanstastic. Sand art and a classical piece of strong beat of the orchestra make a perfect harmony together.

  • I had no idea sand could be used like that!

  • I have never seen sand be so beautiful. Bravo!

  • Fantastic!!

  • i loved this song the best at YTSO

  • Simonova is a wonderfull artist!! congratulations!!!!!!!

  • Vik Muniz does the same thing.

  • speechless. no adjective can define this

  • This is a video of a symphony. You know, where you LISTEN to the sounds of instruments. 1080p resolution and terrible audio quality? This channel needs to get their priorities strait.

  • @Bagurk93 it might be on your end. audio quality here is great

  • @MistroEduardo Compared to what the audio quality was live, this is nothing. The audio quality isn't really that bad, but it sounds like you're listening to the music behind a wall. It doesn't have that same presence or intensity that the live audio had.

  • i literally cannot get enough of this. i watch it multiple times daily.

  • Perfect in all aspects, the music is talking, the performers are doing an indescribably beautiful performance, the lights are majestic, fitting to the piece and the sand art makes it even more unique. Definitely one of the best works you'll ever see.

  • woooow this is awsome and i,m just 8 tyears old

  • anyone notice how at 5:59 they cut out early back to the sand artist instead of showing the violinists? In the full length grand finale video at 2:14:28 they actually pan around to show the orchestra as they play, during my favorite part of the piece. Its pretty cool watching how they play with such intensity.

  • I demand to make dislikes not anonymous for this video. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE.

  • see... when your by yourself in disliking a video, there's no point in making a joke about it, you just don't see the art right in front of you ;P

    Sheer beauty.

  • Why does this have less that 2000 views!?! It's amazing and everyone should see it.

  • @Tanru2000 Because the general media are too far from intellects like you and I. Just Bieber gets how many million views? Sad to see how the average person are so low in culture

  • @daniel1c Well isn't music the first thing to go when schools are busy pimping children to sports recruiters? It's corruption from the top to bottom thats destroying culture and the minds of youths.

  • My two favorite things: art and violins :)

  • the art is very beautiful and the music superior.

  • Ban that person who disliked this video and the future dislike-rs

  • my fav part of the show.. but i wish to see the orchestra separately from the sand artiste..

  • my fav part of the show!

  • i am proud that she is from Ukraine Ukraїne Україна ))

  • This is excellent! I love it!

  • A genius composition and brilliant performance - both by the YTSO and miss Simonova! Ascending Bird & Stravinsky's Firebird were the highlights of the concert, imho.

  • Awesome!!!

  • My favorite song of the night just beautiful!!!

  • @guitarwes04 this song sucks ASSSSSS

  • Simply amazing. I've never seen something like this! The music and sand compositions... pure art!

Kseniya looks like a Bond girl. ;)

  • Amazing!!!!

    Kseniya and orchestra.

    Congratulation!

  • BEAUTIFULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

  • Does anyone know where to learn how to do sand art?

  • Oh I love this! Ms. Simonova owned that sand! And the musical performance was very powerful!

  • This one and Firebird, my favs

  • I wish this went for longer!

  • So amazing. I loved it!

  • finally the part which I love the most! :D

  • I love This Part Of Youtube Synphony Orchestra !!

  • Fantastico
