I like your clip. My husband just brought home his 2010 FLSTCI to replace the 2006 FLSTCI that got stolen in June. When they tell you Harleys are almost impossible to recover, they speak the truth. It was very heartbreaking. We're just waiting for one forgotten detail - HEAT SHIELDS OUCH! - and we'll be back on the road. :)

@EverHurt Don't mind at all. He took the bike out to see a show and parked it on the sidewalk outside the club. Within an hour, it had been taken. It's assumed he just broke the ignition and got it started or coasted down the hill. We were given a discription and the name of the suspect from 2 witnesses within minutes (a guy with conviction history for motorcycle theft) but, sadly, the police were never able to find the bike.

@KristyB5 I'm truly sorry about the theft, I asked for details because I recentley purchased a 2008 Fatbob and securing it is one of my top priorities. So thank you for the info I think I'll be locking my front forks from now on. Even when going into the grocery store.

@EverHurt Yep. Lock it up. That extra five seconds to throw the lock on the forks could've saved us a summer of sadness and the feeling of being violated. The 2010's come with a security system that is somehow integrated with the ABS system. Wary of the ABS, my husband did not get this. I still find it amazing that someone would even dare TOUCH the bike, but some people are crazy!

@EverHurt It's awful to have something stolen. I wonder how high per capita the theft rates are for Harleys compared to Japanese cruisers. I currently ride a Honda VT750 and a Harley is possible in the future, but not if the per capita theft rates are unacceptable to me. The other frequently stolen bikes are the various Japanese sport bikes. I wish Buell was still around.

That is a sweet ride. My wife and I both have Heritage softails and we love every other one we see including yours. A former post suggests that you have an Evo on this bike. Is that correct? Ours have the twin cam 88. But my wife's has the stage 1 kit installed. Mine's a 2000 and my wife's is an 02.
