Why did they make it so much like Hana Yori Dango? Boys Before Flowers went with the same story but made most of their scenes different with the same concept. The scenes I see here look almost exactly like Hana Yori Dango... Gosh good way to be original.

**Meteor Garden is around 10 years old. It was BEFORE the Japanese live action.**

All three shows are based on the same Japanese manga, but (in my opinion) Korea added more changes to the plot because being THIRD, it helped to keep what we loved about these shows but add new material we hadn't seen before. Personally I like all three of the live action versions a lot, even though I hated the manga and anime.

it's not the classic abusive relationship...it's more like joking-arguing-love relationship. they argue because their personalities clash, but after the guy falls for the girl, he actually protects her as much as he can. she basically has free reign to disparage him verbally because he's still trying to be a better person, and she can hit him (in a loving way) but he didn't do it back at all.

Watched BOF, too but it did not excite me as much as MG, did!! Jerry and Sanchai's chemistry in MG is the best! DMS as Jerry is the best! He is a arrogant devil but at the same time an innocent kid so overflowing with love SC! Unlike with BOF the lead actors doesnt matched at all that's why it's so boring! LMH acting is also lame compared to Jerry's explosive portrayal!

I'm soooo glad that BBF follows the MG castings and storylines with HYD lavish, luxury and exciting plots! Yummy bonus with Lee Min Ho looking a look like Jerry plus he's so awesome there, SoEulmate with happy ending too! BBF fulfilled all my expectations and is now my number ONE adaption!
