G1 has touch keyboard now + video record

its just a mini computer anything can go on it with in its range of specs

The G2 has upped its performance, but no keyboard

+ Multiscreen touch, and 3.5mm JAck..

but the thing I like about these HTCs is the desktop screen, and very fast internet

The latest update I got, tells me what the battery was used for,

The big down with the G1 is the battery life for me, apart from that im happy with it.. (its a problem if its ur main internet for 3months waiting for broadband.., or ur on a bus for a few hours and bored

I have the G1, and I got the update with the on-screen keyboard and video recorder. Also, as many have mentioned, why is the G2 ditching the whole flip out keyboard? I personally like the flip out keyboard because it's easier to use than the on-screen keyboard. The only downfall of G1 is the bulkiness, but it is not worth to get G2.

G1 also has horrible battery life. I hate having to charge my phone everyday. But it is a smart phone so It's understandable. With the 3GS being released, I was able to get a iPhone 3G for 50 bucks used. So now I switch between both phones. I still prefer the g1 but the iPhone grabs people's attention. G2 looks Like G1.5 Spec wise, did they even change or add anything?

Apple alone is simply making itself faster, like firefox, but Google technology is going off its original interface, like android.
