@orangegold1 That just says a^n+a^n=a^n. The whole idea is to have different numbers for a, b, and c. That's why three different letters are used. And no, you can't make a, b, and c all equal to zero because that would defeat the whole purpose of having three *different* letters. The values have to be integers, and different.
Shimura-Taniyama gave great way to the theorem.
