  • what's time elasped?

  • @kriptonis i know this is 3mnths later but it means time that past

  • @p8intballkid thanks. But it was a joke :P The correct word is elapsed, but in the video he wrote 'elasped'. I was just humorously pointing that out :D

  • @kriptonis oh

  • its readyboost not readboost

  • will this make online games faster

  • @blackninja5637 no it will no sadly

  • Where did you get the music

  • @Computerman334

    Jackass, Party Boy.

  • wow... shit...

mwaha this is one of the best features ever by windows. 4gb on my 2gb ram ftw ;)

  • the music is reminding me of the bbeerries n cream startburst remix comedy... and school spoofs during horseplay in tech class when they play with the BIG SPEAKER stage stuff lol

  • to better difference use more than 2 gigs or it will make no diff... 512 (3% diff) 700 (20%) 1gig (40%) 2 gig (50%) 4 gig (75%) 8 gig (80%) 16 gig (90%) 32 gig (99%)

and its added a huge ammount of *NON SOLID* RAM (meaning its able to be removed without shutdown... ) windows only computes "installed" (chips on the board) RAM i have 3 GIG ram but need more... i use a 4 gig its always writing ram to it over the installed ram for some reason

  • how many GB did you readyboost?

  • party boy

  • hi....wat if im using a

    windows vista home premium

    2.40GHz

    2046 MB

    32 bit operating system

and im using thumbdrive which is Toshiba

    which holds 4GB

    wat can u say

  • first off

i say that you should upgrade to vista 64 bit. because that 32 bit isnt going to take full advantage of that 2.40GHZ

and its not gona unleash the ram

  • lol.. how im gonna do tat

  • You buy it :D

  • Okay hows mine?

Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit (sadly =[)

    2.8GHz

And a flash drive with 8gb

  • 32 bit?

not going to take full advantage of that 2.8ghz

just upgrade to vista 64 bit

  • yes it will you moron

  • no it will not

    look it up

my dad works for microsoft and my uncle works as a tech at dell

  • no matter what OS you use, you will always use the full power of your processor, the only difference being the way that you allocate the cache and manner of processing, Either 32-bit or 64-bit. but you will ALWAYS use the full processing power (GHz wise) of your processor you complete tool.

  • i beg to differ

    you wrong

thats why when you get something like an intel core 2 quad they say use 64 bit

dumb ass. dont comment back because if you do ill report you for beign a complete douche bag

    if you didnt know

online bullying is now illegal since january 1 and ill press charges against you

  • no you moron, its just 64-bit supported, and its really ironic because i can now report you for the same thing, so please just go back to your little hole and learn some information before you speak to me

  • that is ironic aint it? but go ahead!

u dont know more than me

please why dont you go look it up! because i just asked my dad

  • haha you can ask your "daddy" anything you wish, that doesnt mean he's right. and actually, i do know more than you; im an MIT student who is double majoring in computer science and electrical engineering

  • sure you are you just know iam right

  • haha alright man, you can think what you want, but you're still wrong and you're still a complete moron <3

    love,

Ethan (aka, the only guy in this conversation who knows what he's talking about)

  • gay basher? wth? who says that?fagsss

MIT? lol oohkkaaay iam bill gates really

  • ...but that doesnt prove any point at all mr gates?

  • what does prove what sir?

    that ur stupid?

  • ur an MIT. student?

and your only 16? hmm ur stupid ethan stop lying to urself

and hes worked there for 12 years!

  • im 18 little man, and it doesnt matter if he's worked at microsoft anyway, microsoft produces SOFTWARE, not hardware.

  • 64 = software dumb fuck! stfu!!

you dont know what the fuck your talking about you lying son of a bitch

  • wow, you really are a little moron arent you? and its quite funny how it shows your ignorance through the extreme amount of unnecessary swearing and idiotic facts. no one mentioned the difference between 64-bit and 32-bit, just the fact that microsoft doesnt make HARDWARE (like processors), it makes SOFTWARE (like OS's) so you know what, im really done with this little argument, im just gonna let you think what you want :)

  • im the moron? at least im not the one who is lying "oh i went to MIT" grow up brah

    love? wth? you fucking FAGGOT!

  • haha brah? oh yeah, im the one who should grow up; i am an MIT student, so try not to protest what you dont know. and what, are you a gay basher too?

  • Technically both of you guys are right (To an extent):

As far as processing speed, it will remain the same (nirvanakcteen is right). Although, when you use a 64-bit operating system, the kernel (core) of the operating system is written as a 64-bit executable. Therefore, programs written as a 64-bit executable or driver will work faster (jonsutubechannel is right). However, if you run a 32-bit program on a 64-bit OS. The program would just as fast as it would on a 32-bit operating system.

  • On 32-bit operating systems, the most RAM the can recognize up to 4GB. As far as 64-bit operating systems go:

    Vista Home Basic: 8GB

    Vista Home Premium: 16GB

XP Professional x64, Vista Business, Ultimate, and Enterprise: 128GB

Be sure your motherboard can support the amount of RAM you have in your system. (Just because your operating system can support it doesn't mean your hardware will)

  • Nice!

  • B2b587, ur results may not be correct. b/c when u first turned on ur computer, u started from a cold start so ur computer had to boot up much more and longer, but if u RESTARTED with readyboost, ur computer didnt start off from a cold start. So wot u need to do to show how much of an effect readyboost make, is to give the same amount of time for ur computer to cool down inbetween both starts.

  • youre right!!! that's what im gonna explain...

  • hey b2b567 does this also make a difference for video games?

  • Yes, this should speed up video games if you use the right kind of flash drive. The flash drive should be Vista Ready and equal in size to the amount of memory on your computer. In other words, if you have 1GB of memory (RAM), use a 1GB flash drive.

Click the link next the video for more detailed instructions.

  • damn i didn't think it would make that much of a difference

  • LMAO the party boy song from jackass, wrong musci choise my friend. If u want funky house try mark farina or masters at work lol

  • cool.
