I am not exactly sure what was going on in the life of Beck at this point but he seemed to be somewhat depressed and lonely. This album got me through some bad times in my life.

odd for two reasons.............I was just getting on a coworker for throwing away the usew blades into he trash (instead of the empty core). I had a very deep memory of something I hadn't remembered in at least ten years from the period of time I listened to this cd. This girl I was friends with in Asheville NC, don't even remember her name, showed her a guitar idea.........she said it sounded like Alice in Chains. Beck.....an incrediable lyracist......reminds me of Bob Dylan's lyrics.

My favorite Beck song. Opining with my very limited musical exposure, I'd say the Cold Brains - Nobody's Fault opening is one of the greatest 1-2 track openings. Top 3, I'd say.
