hi there, im trying to get to school to get my cdl wich trucking companies u think they will be better and looking also to work with the same copmany who trained me . can u please email me on my email anafin1234@gmail.com. ty so much
ERB TRANSPORT in Ontario, Tough to get in, but they are hiring and worth trying.
If you have experience and have a CLEAN, I mean a CLEAN RECORD..
They have a tough hiring process. They really screen you and your past.
Drug Tests, Road Test, Screening of your past employers...they check all.
That is what makes them so good. Your BENEFIT and mine "if hired' is YOU get to work with the best people at one of the Better Transportation Companies in the World.
I'm concerned about the health of the economy. I want to know from your perspective.....Are you seeing any growth or are you seeing less and less and less hauls. What are you seeing across America? More drifters, homeless, sad waitresses, or are you seeing happy and upbeat?
I really enjoyed your video, honey. My name is Jack. I live in San Diego. I went into trucking in 1974 at the age of 28 and "retired" a few years ago after logging three million miles, the equivalent of 6 round trips to the moon. I'm 64 now and in good health and thinking of hitting the road again. I've never had a chargeable accident on a public street or highway. Your good record is more than luck. You have what it takes, skill, attitude, etc. I have a conservative driving style.
You seem like a sweet lady. You have just the patient temperament it would take to be on the road like that and to put up with all you do. May the Lord bless you and keep you safe out there!
They used to make really good money but now not so much. With the way things are today freight is really slow and a lot of truck drivers are just barely making it.
Im interested in doing this. My family says no but I made through 5 years in the Navy I think I can do this.

What are your thoughts on CR England? would like to know more on what truckers thought about them as a company...

I'm having a real problem. I'm not looking for any of the typical primadonnas. I'm a big burly guy and I'm looking for a tough gal.
I can't seem to find any! It's good to see there are at least some female truck drivers out there. Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough.
Thanks for putting this up. If I can think of any questions to throw your way I will. I have lots of respect for truckers and the industry.
Your husband is a lucky man.

Here is my question:
Can a truck driver drive as long as they want? If not, what is the limit?

Hey Rontdat1967. Thanks for being an informational source on the trucking community.
Would you be able to answer me these few questions?
1. Over The Road isn't for everyone. How difficult would you rate it to find a job with a local trucking company after 1-2 years OTR experience?
2. For someone who just receives a CDL, is it possible to land a team driving position with the company you sign on with?
3. Do Laptops and Cell phones make up for the loneliness of OTR driving?
Thank you again!
