The single was released in 1981 - I have it on 12". The b side was "Splintered In Her Head", and on the 12" there is also a live version of "Primary" I don't think it was ever on an album apart from compilations.

@MrBelorix It came out as a single. Between the 'Faith' and 'Pornography' albums. circa '81 It was never on an album. It was origanally written for Souixe when Robert and her were doing projects together. I know for sure it's on the "Standing of the Beach" album of singles and b-sides. Singles from '79-85. Great buy! The B-sides are awesome songs that don't get much attention.

The Cure and my experience of them is so multidimensional, I mean I went to the concert @ Pantages in LA and heard these songs and now listening to them it brings me to a whole different place than I was that night its really amazing to be a fan of this artist....phenomenal really

@Cavscanclinch There is no "official" video of the song. Was a BSIDE of Faith. Was played a fair amount live back in the day and most recently at the Reflections concerts as an encore.

@jam6va Are you sure about that? I had the VHS tape of Staring At The Sea that had this video. I recall the video as having a young pretty girl (in a dress) walking around a mansion (alone) with a solemn look on her face. Looking at her self in a mirror or walking up the stairs but i dont recall the band ever being in the video. Of course this is 20 years ago. Who knows, maybe you are right. If i did not get rid of that tape ;-)
