  • "I HAVE THE SWORD OF AZEROTH" - to quote Sheldon - no, not Shelley you numbnuts...

  • I just love watching you tink around with things. Cuz man, I don't have time to learn how this stuff works so, better to watch someone like you do it. And it's fun to see when you come up with beats and the fact that you pretty much come up with your own music.

  • sounds like my cat.

  • u shud use it to make some music. not just communicate with outer space pyramids.

  • 1:22 WALL-E

  • cool! :D

  • I want one!

  • the way you handle it looks really rough and aggressive :s

  • @alikill definitly, i think she wants to be cool

  • Hello Littleboots ! If you love Erasure, they will play in Blackpool's North Pier on Saturday November 5th !

Synths are so cool ... Vince Clarke (from Erasure) has some great & funny videos about his famous synths on his website. Take a look ! Cheers.

  • pin pin pin piun

  • Wooow what a beautiful sound... but for a best reference maybe u can record the audio with a better microphone... i can't feel the lower freq

  • Picked on up @ Moog in Toronto and its pretty addictive. Cant wait for the Monotribe!

  • Cool bit of kit. now make a song with it plez! I know u can :D

  • do you still like it-i'm afraid i'd get bored. I still love my qy100!!!;-)

I want a tenori-on though! what would anyone advise otherwise?

  • For $50, you get a kickass filter, and a ribbon control for those crazy out of tune synth lines that we all love. You can't beat the Monotron.

  • Dubstep machine anyone?

  • I want one.

  • in answer to your question, it is very cool.

  • why don't people ever bother to record the audio for these demos properly?

  • Great choice of camera angle for showing off such a tiny gadget. Also, you have fascinating thumbs! =:o}

  • sounds cool :)

reminds me of my sound effects on my guitars

my videos are on here - search latestshock

    scroll down on that page

    thanks

    darren axl tate

  • owww! we're under attack!!

  • Thanks for the demo! It doesn't sound like it has much sound variety... I still like my stylophone! I've got a KORG Kaossilator and it's really good... it's kinda like the cheaper version of the tenori-on. And of course I couldn't go anywhere without my microKORG vocoder.

  • i have this...but it's a BITCH to actually play live....i wish it were a little more exact....

  • @plushusnati It's got a ribbon control. It's not meant to be exact. It's meant to be out of tune.

  • @ThePunkPatriot oh sure i get that. but they put the keyboard on the front like it means something and it really doesn't...i have put little glow in the dark paint marks on the settings I like...what instruments are like this but more in depth...with more control?

  • @plushusnati yeah, it's a ribbon control. the keyboard is totally meaningless. You can tune it using the screw in the back though. I just got mine in the mail the other day. I can't beleive they include the schema in the user's manual. It's like they're saying, "hack this plz."

  • YOU'RE GONNA BREAK IT!

  • um...dude your vibrator needs new batteries. o.0

  • let's make a noize duo!

  • I love it! Now, where is my white stylophone?!!

  • that seems awkward

  • you could do wooble bass with the LFO little boots cool idea you and dubstep ^.^

  • Boots is such a gadget girl and this one is really cool! of course I've kind of come to understand that boots has wicked taste in electronic instruments otherwise I wouldn't have watched the video =3 I want one!

  • Hook it up to a 100w amp & it sounds AMAZING (trust me).

  • Initialy I thought these things looked pretty rubbish, but no longer! Even if it does sound like an early '80s videogame meets someone fiddling about with a short-wave radio... erm- actually that makes it even cooler!

    Neat little device...

  • thats a cool little synth i wish i had one. looks like fun hehe

  • you can't play one song with it?

you just have to record all the pieces and put it together?

  • I'm a Ten-Percenter, I guess.

I just ordered one on ebay and it won't get here for 6 days...

SIX DAYS!!! I'm just glad people on youtube record stuff like this, as it will satiate my thirst till it gets here...

  • @MetalFacedMonster

i´m waiting for this beast today, but postman won´t show for some reason and right now i want to jump out my skin watching these videos!aaargghh:)

  • Ugly hands

  • stupid question maybe. but can i get someplace like best buy or the likes ?

  • I'm in that 10% =D

  • Shame it's not polyphonic eh? Buy another one and drop it an octave (just like having both the "normal" AND the bass stylophone). Weirdness heaven!

  • i did and the thing is i wanted to record this into my audiointerface but the sound is very dirty i don't what to do

  • why the sound is very dirty is no cool at all?somebody know how can i clean the sound

  • @44death plug it in to something

  • I want one of these. But here nobody sell's it.

  • At the beginning it sounds like somebody is flubbing their lips with their fingers lol

  • Loves it! :))

  • All I can say is cut those nasty finger nails

  • This sounds like too many of those toy guns I had when I was 8 years old.

  • @stevenandthewishmast It's Little Boots (Victoria Hesketh) who's playing with the Korg Monotron. Fed through decent speakers/headphones, you can get some amazing sounds from it. I've got one & I love it.

  • Whats this have to do with little boots?...

  • @stevenandthewishmast It's the channel name.

  • COOOOOOOOL!!!!!!!

You make it look so fun..

  • hehehehhehehe

  • This looks so cool!!! I want one of those now!!!

  • LFO rate was too high ...

  • it would be nice to see a full blown analog microkorg using this tech

  • I like this a good bit.

  • I already thought Little Boots was sexy, but NOW: WOW... she took to that thing like nobody I"ve ever met could possibly take to it. I'm jealous, actually.

  • Receiving Date from Alien Space Ship... :O

  • Am I the only one who noticed that little boots love to play with gadgets?

  • That's brilliant. Have you managed to use it in the studio yet? If you've got a Nintendo DS, I think you'd love Korgs DS10... Assuming you've not already played with it ;)

  • Pretty cool... perfect size for your little hands ;-)

  • was a bit pissed up last night, hope I behaved? maybe not. Apologies if so. Anyway, Devo,

  • I have one too, and I have to say it's very cool :)

Full analog, and very simple controls, so it quickly gets intuitive and almost physical.

Interesting sounds and sfx can be made with, and with practice, good melodies.

It takes a little time to get used to the "fretless keyboard", but yes, it's a very useful and inspiring toy :)

I use it almost every day in the train, and sometimes I regret not having plugged it on a pocket 4 tracks recorder...

  • Reminds me of my CASIO VL-1 - pretty cewl thing - the synthesizer was controlled by the internal calculater memory!

There's an emulator for it as VST-Plugin downloadable (look for VL-Tone Emulator on google).

    Keep on being strange kid!

  • Korg is amazing!! You should snag a Kaossilator PRO. Very nice live performance tool.

  • Cool =D!

  • What a snazzy little gizmo, had a look at it on the Korg site too and you can input audio into it too... Nice. Thanks for the heads up, didn`t even know Korg had brought this out.....

  • @Ninjedd NOTHING is more annoying that a vuvuzela. Clean your ears out.

  • a no mames hahaha esta cagado el aparatito

  • I'm jealous! Ordered mine a month ago, and I've got to wait at least another two weeks... The filter on this is a beast!

  • I'm surprised you haven't discovered the Korg Kaossilator (almost 3 years old) and Kaossilator Pro (Feb. 2010 or so) by now. I should have bought the Pro. My best attempt at music on the Kaossilator is a video "Dark Taxi".

  • Please correct the spelling in your title, forgot an O.

  • it's like human league and transX

  • I am one of the 10%!!!

  • @2007TypeR hey sorry to upset you. I was just saying that as a Little Boots fan you can tell that she really is

  • soooo cool!!! iwannit!

  • looks like really good quality for a simple monophonic synth. thanks for sharing!

  • Whoa!

  • That is pretty cool for a little synth

  • Oh, you and your "toys" ; )

  • I'm 10% of people on here

  • like a little kid, pushing all the buttons in random order

  • #OMG THATS TOTALLY AWSOME :DDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • the single most anoying thing in the world!

  • I used to have something that sounded like that on my bike back in the 80's :)

  • 1:22 I heard a cat

  • WTH where do u find these things!? lol

  • anyone knoe how much it cost?

  • @iamcosmichands as i saw in a web

    it's around 70USD....

  • you got the best toys (musical toys, that is... ;)

  • some of it sounds a bit like a cat being hurt :P

  • it makes weird sounds but thats quite cool!! haha lol

  • check out the gakken sx-150, It's pretty similar to this but uses a stylus and (IMO) looks much cooler and sounds better. You could even re-house it to make it look

    like a stylophone . . . I might do that.

  • That's AWESOME.

You must be building up quite a collection of musical gadgets by now!

  • can't wait to see what you will create with this!

  • You have VERY low standards of what cool is.

  • @munkpiad and you don't seem to know what she can do with 'low standards'

  • @munkpiad well it's just the way that u think

LB has told we all, not all of us like this

  • I like your take on musical "toys" . . I will be interested to see the future uses of this one!
