Obama knew he couldn't get out of the war so fast but he abused it to get votes. Bush did not do as bad as a job as people say. He is in the same situation that obama is in, he came in during a "high" in the US. It was a bad idea to get into the war but it was necessary to show who is boss. Obama has addressed and lived up to every campaign promise he made in respect to Afghanistan. Bush on the other hand lied like a rug to the American people and the rest of the world throughout his presidency. Wasn't Obama orignally ralling AGAINST the Afghanistan war? Just sending on more troops won't work. I garentee that a big chunk of the newly sent soldiers will be wipped off by the end of next year due to improper amount of training.

I will say that the Afghanistan War isn't as pointless as Iraq War, but I fear the Afghanistan/ Obama will bankrupt us. I know Bush started the war, but Obama is contunuing it and I will sometimes call it Obama War.

No, Obama opposed the Iraq war -through the campaign made many comments about Afghanistan. (CNN reviewed his promises and tallied his post-inaugural actions today-he got 100%). The US is not in this alone (as was the Iraqi case, but your media puts no perspective on contributions of other NATO countries. I'm Canadian, we're in Afghanistan, and lose troops daily. Like much the rest of the world, Canada respects and supports Obama, but cannot understand the lack of support he gets at home.
