BTW- The BBC did a two-hour radio drama cutting of it (performance, not recitation) that was a LOT better than I thought it would be. Minor accent issues, but Really good nonetheless..
@planetery You should be able to find the mp3 at a site called "greylodge(dot)org". It's an unofficial conversion that someone did from their cassettes. If you still have cassette tapes, you could potentially make a higher quality copy of the audiobook.
@planetery Yeah, the radio play was good. Some issues like you mention, but I'm still glad for it. There's also a second audiobook of Neuromancer, as read by Arthur Addison. But I prefer Gibson's reading, plus the background music.
WHY is this not on CD?!?
I still have the cassettes of this I bought 15 years ago!
