Personally, I think it was a terrible mistake that iraq war was initiated but there's where my common ground with these nutballs end. It would be extremely callous and irresponsible if US just packed up, leave and washed their hands. Lots of these individuals advocate the idea of "peace at all cost" which doesn't sit well and most of all they overemphasize every US infraction, major or minor, to push their agenda.

Soldiers the world over are the blunt instruments of the ruling classes. They can claim to fight for freedom or Islam or communism or nationalism but in the end I don't think that the civillians caught in the middle really care what they were maimed in the name of. If you can't acknowlege that Saddam Hussein murdered over 100,000 people and was a threat to PEACE in the region, then you don't have the moral fiber to pass judgements on those who are willing to die to defend human rights.
