  • wait so is this kid PLOTTING to kill his cousin intermixed with the "don't play in construction sites" lesson? O_o

  • I think the lad playing Roland is the same, lad who played John in the pif where's your lad.

  • i already hate that aunt :| she wouldn't let the boy talk

  • the dog is trying to kill him

  • I remember seeing this video in school, at the age of 9 or 10 it taught me many vital lessons don't go trespassing in building site if you do you may not live if you have an accident keep well away. It never pays to go into building sites, they are not playgrounds they are bloody dangerous places to be if you are not authorized to be in them. I noticed Paul and his sister Jane are the cousins of the lad, Ronald who goes into the building sites and gets killed and brought back to life again .

  • Say, nobody here would happen to have either Killing Time or Splat!?

  • You're the first person on the net I've heard ever mention Splat! (Girl drown in the end, right? School register spelt out her name?) You've just confirmed that it DID exist!

  • I remember seeing this when I was about 9 - we had some building work taking place at our school - I recall the being run over bit as more gory than that though - wouldnt scare kids these days though!

  • So they keep telling him to do stuff... and when he starts doing it they have a go at him!

  • WOO HOO!!! It's FINALLY up here!!! I've been curious about this film for two years now!!! Thanks for posting!!!

(What am I so happy about? A kid dies in this film. *sweatdrop* )

  • ... How the fuck did that dog magically teleport out of the ditch?

  • Fantastic! The trilogy with "Apaches" and "The Finishing Line" is now complete, and my nieces - 12 and 9 - will be watching this the next time I see them. Of course, as a responsible 41-year-old, I will be informing the girls that the 70s HSE films were basically just scaremongering and that building sites are actually a first-rate place for play. Just like farms and railway lines, in fact...

  • The Teleporter is a Porta-John. I WANT ONE !!!!!

  • Thanks so much! I have now seen Building Sites Bite, Apaches and The Finishing Line - the fearsome threesome!

  • @JGJamieson93 So have I. I've been wanting to watch Apaches since 2009, yet every time I got to the bit where the girls screams for her mother after drinking the poison I stopped and didn't want to watch any more. When I watched it the other day I just muted the volume.

  • GOD BLESS YOU, YODDYTODDY! YOU HAVE ANSWERED MY PRAYERS!!!

  • I saw this at school (like many of us I assume). Great to see it again, but I don't remember all the crap about "We have some tests for you Ronald". I must have seen a cut-down version.

  • Thank you so much for uploading this. I've been waiting to see it for years!

  • Ha ha ! Can't believe I found this after so long, thought it would never make it to youtube !

  • I can not thank you enough for posting this! Have been waiting for it since forever. Was terrorised by it as a child in the UK; we viddied it in school!

  • Ronalds got the TARDIS

  • I'm glad you all like it - if I wan't so much of a techniphobe - I would have put it up earlier. I have the original source tape. A lending library still has it to borrow!

  • Hey dude i have been looking for this film for three years and all over the net with no luck, and today I have found the link. Thanks for uploading them

  • Aunty Mary is the spitting image of John Cleese dressed as an old woman in Monty Python. Her voice is identical - it's uncanny!

  • @Dr0ctave hahahaha - I thought *exactly* the same thing, brilliant :)

  • Oh magnificent. Years and years of searching and it's finally here.

i did a random google search for Building Sites Bite (as I have been doing periodically for the past 6-7 years) and suddenly... there's the link.

Yoiu've made my day... Thanks so much for uploading this.

  • ALL PRAISE TO YOU yoddytodday! Thank you!

  • I thought this would never get to YouTube.

    Thank you a million times.

  • This is like the Itchy and Scratchy of public information films

  • Oh my Lord, you did it. Thank you!

  • Thanks. Been waiting to see this for 23 years.
