I was reading up on this monitor as i was considering getting one to play my 360 on and apparently its not good for gaming as it displays quite serious motion blur, is this true?

Lol where did you heard that? I have played over 1 year PC, PS3 and Xbox360 games with this and so far i havent see any "motion blur" problem.

no, I play games all the time on the same monitor model. The only thing that would make it better is if it could handle 120hz, but most true HD monitors won't do that yet. 60fhz/fps is plenty good, but I would love 120 for those games that my computer could put that out on.

Its depend the game what you are playing. Crysis is doing that black space thing, but many other games dont.

Monitor dont have "own" motion blur, but some games have that, like crysis. Its cool effect but u need powerful computer to handle it.

hey is this normal? i have this monitor connected thru vga to my hp pavilion as an external monitor, for the first day or so everything was fine, buh then one day all of a sudden the display's width got a lil shorter, basically the right side got liek a inch of blank, so i selected auto adjust to adjust the screen back to its original size, however it didnt, even after changing the resolution,1080p max resolution and a few others have the problem, buh when its changed from 60hz to 50hz it works

Well, not that well. You see a GTS 250 is really a re-branded 9800 GTX+, so it will have only 192 Stream Processors, and a 775 MHz Core Clock, and a 1800 to 1900 MHz memory clock. While a Core 216 GTX 260 will have a 576 MHz core clock, and and a 2000 MHz Memory Clock, but the biggest performance maker is 216 stream processors. So you might get a bit of lag on your GTS 250.

in terms of aethsetics how does the monitor actually look? All the pictures I've seen of it (apart from the ones from BenQ with artistic angles/lighting etc) it doesnt look that good.

hey, i got it and couldnt be happeier, it is plastic material bit cheapist but black shiny finish, looks great imo. and the quality is really defined with the 1080p resolutions.

It doesn't come with a HDMI cable. Go to the store and buy one.

Not all PCs will have an HDMI output. You're better off using DVI, since there is no difference in quality. The only difference is that HDMI allows audio and video through one cable. If you're using DVI you would need to make other arrangements for your audio.

With HDMI PC games looks awesome.

Xbox360 with VGA is okey, but the resolution is lower than 1920x1080, so the picture is not so good. I just need to buy new x0 with hdmi. Then I can use full-hd resolution.

u probs got the HDA version. I thought the same when i got mine. It don't matter u can get VGA splitter boxes and signal boxes and it still works out cheaper than the HD version.

do you see some kind of tearing sometimes in the screen when you play games with a lot of hdr or lights like in dead space first elavator my screen just go crazy and you cann see all those lines going crazy in the screen it happened in a few games.
