I think the Winchester brothers are more loyal to each other. Like Dean would never go after a woman Sam was in loved with or even liked and vice versa. I just feel like Stefan is always putting his ass on the line for Damon and in return Damon goes after his girlfriend. Kind of fucked up but the Salvatore boys do have their moments.

@ifigeneianeni I noticed the similarities as well. I've gotten to thinking that whoever wrote Vampire Diaries must have been a real BIG supernatural fan. Because not only is the first letter of the first names the same or the good boy, bad boy thing but Sam gets addicted to demon blood and goes bad for a little and doesn't stephen get addicted to some type of blood as well? The only main difference besides there being no angels and demons is that Sam could never keep a girlfriend alive.
